It was a very nice cottage, small, but everything was in good material, nice shower, nicely decorated with nice wood details. We slept wonderfully with the windows open and the sound of the river, otherwise it was completely quiet at night. Outside nice terraces, wonderfully seated with our feet in the river, a fantastic environment, completely unobstructed views at the back of the house and a lovely hamlet. We walked every day for half an hour to Gois, a beautiful village with river and delicious pastries at the paladeria. We thought it was very nice!

This is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. The home is in an amazing village and is so peaceful and beautiful with great views. The location is very accessible to fun hiking trails. Lousã is good to stock up on groceries. The home has good wifi and the bottle of wine the host left was such a thoughtful and pleasant surprise. We really liked sitting on the patio having food and wine and just taking in all of the surroundings. I have never been somewhere so unique. Such a special place.

The house was exactly like the photographs. From the moment of booking to check-out, D. Adelaide was an excellent host, always available and attentive. The amenities were very comfortable and every corner of the house surprised us with positive details, thought out in detail to ensure the well-being and comfort of all. The reception by D. Gloria was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the welcome cake... was simply divine! Without a doubt, an experience to repeat.

Very nice house with all the amenities and very complete, there is everything to spend the whole stay, everything impeccable, we felt at home, a quiet place ideal to disconnect and be in a natural environment. Near Coimbra, which is where we were going. Pedro has been very attentive and responds very quickly if you have any questions. I definitely recommend it 100%. We went with 5 friends and the place is perfect for everyone. We will return without hesitation, but next time I will do it with my children, I think it is ideal to go with children.

Our stay in one word: paradise. The secluded place in the mountains, the house furnished and equipped with everything you need and refined, the pool, the views… we were lucky to be alone on the property and it was wonderful. Few contacts with the owners but effective and availability of Mrs. Concepçao who takes care of the reception and cleaning very well. A note for those from the city ;-) At first, it's a bit surprising to be so secluded, but it's a delight.

A fantastic place to stay, very comfortable, well equipped, great swimming pool area with honesty bar, and a lovely friendly Labrador, which was especially appreciated, as we were travelling by motorcycle and had left our two Labradors at home. 🤗☺️

Perfect house especially for the summer, extremely beautiful and with impeccable and creative decoration, made the experience much more memorable. Carolina and her sister were sweet and the communication was great and constant. Everything is clean and has everything you need. The pool was nice with a wonderful view of the mountains. Cosy and comfortable house with wonderful views over the valley. Great place to stay in winter too. We enjoyed New Year's Eve here. The place reminded us of our grandmother's house. José is such a nice person. Hope we can come back in summer to try the swimming pool. Place is quiet. It's also close to the places of Serra da Estrela.

We had a great stay at Antionio's place. Very relaxing setting on the edge of the village. So nice to be able to let our dog run freely in a fenced compound with beautiful fruit trees. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable.

We were delighted with the space – it's quiet, well cared for and the pool was a real luxury in these hot days! It was wonderful to be able to bring our dog Escobar, who also loved the environment and the outdoor space. It is increasingly rare to find such beautiful places that accept animals so naturally. The host was very friendly and always available to help when needed. House equipped with the necessary utensils and included a stove for cooking meals. Very pleasant and quiet surrounding area, ideal for resting. The air conditioning was perfect for the hot days that were felt. The host has a dog that kept us company. thank you and we want to come back!

Beautiful private spot. Paul was amazingly helpful and communicative, any queries answered immediately but also he didnt invade our personal space. Perfect balance. Amazing host. Very relaxed and the house had all the amenities we could want. Definitely recommend.

It is a family home, very well maintained and recovered. The house has all the amenities and a few more. The hostess ensured excellent communication and the lady who received us (D.ª Silvina) is overflowing with kindness. We were even entitled to some treats, which were the icing on the cake. Thank you so much for everything!

We loved the stay, the house was beautiful and cozy. There was plenty of firewood to keep us warm in the living room. The kitchen was modern. I only have 2 things to point out: - It had all the necessary amenities except a mop to wash the dishes. - the oven top was not well washed (we left it cleaner than we found it) Finally, I leave the suggestion to the host that the outdoor space has immense potential and could be better used, for example with a swimming pool, especially in the warmer months.

My two friends and I absolutely loved Joao's place! It is one of the most unique airbnbs we have ever stayed in, built on the side of a mountain with a fabulous view off the balcony. It was comfortable and quiet. The town of Monsanto is also incredibly beautiful and unique and everything is in walking distance. I would love to return to Monsanto and would definitely stay in Joao's place again.

We loved our stay at Casa do Professor. It was so quiet and peaceful. Lovely views, beautiful house inside and out. It worked well for a day trip to the Duoro wine area and another to Viseu, it was wonderful to come home to. Also nice walks in the general area (one was from the house, towards town, onto the ecopista). Lovely, quiet area full of small villages. Easy driving, groceries and restaurants nearby. We cooked a few meals and had what we needed. Having the washing machine was helpful. Comfortable beds, beautiful decor, yummy pastries delivered by Antonio's parents. Antonio was responsive and gave a lot of helpful suggestions in response to our questions. Highly recommended!

Andrea and Bruno are pleasant and charming people The property itself is spacious, and renovated to a very high standard. The yard is pleasant and spacious, we picked some mint and some lemon verbena. The view from the balcony is heart-warming. As parents of a small child, we were a little afraid of the stairs, and indeed it was challenging, but good handrails and a pair of gates to block access to the stairs from above really made it easier to cope (the stairs to the lower floor we just blocked permanently because we did not use this floor). The apartment is full of games for children, and our two-and-a-half-year-old daughter enjoyed it very much. The fresh bread and the quality coffee that Bruno left for us completed the experience. The location of the settlement is a little far from the river, and everywhere you need to drive first on the winding road down the hill. But the charming beach of Avo is 8 minutes away, so it's not really a big deal. In short, we will return again and with great joy, thank you Bruno and Andrea, we will be happy to meet you in Coimbra as well.

The accommodation is spectacular. Very cute, comfortable, with parking at the door and very well located to explore the area and climb the tower. It has air conditioning, heat pump and pellet salamander, which makes the house a very comfortable house.

Beautiful in the countryside, very luxurious and well equipped. Great pool and beautiful well-kept outdoor area. Overall, very high-quality ambiance! Nearest shopping about 10 minutes by car beautiful vineyards for hiking in the immediate vicinity! If you are looking for peace and relaxation in the countryside, with beautiful surroundings, this is the place to be. Landlord and staff very friendly and helpful. Great outdoor kitchen with BBQ for shared use! We'd love to come back!
