This is recent modern Barn conversion. (Jan 2015) It contains one large kitchen/dining/lounge area, one double bedroom with en suite facilities. June 2017 added second Living Space area with view of adjacent farm and wood, Lobby area with Laundry facilities and a second bathroom. Please note the Grounds and external outdoor perimeter of The Barn is protected by CCTV TK Alarm Company. Please know this is a simple place. It once was out buildings, however you will find it warm and homely.

Welcome to our barn conversion which we hope will provide you with the perfect escape, a base for your countryside adventures or a bed after exploring nearby towns and cities. Located on a working dairy farm the barn was converted in 2019 into 2 separate apartments each accommodating max 4 people. At the moment only the ground floor apartment is available to guests. Perfectly located with easy access from the M1 motorway, an hours drive from Dublin and Belfast and only 8 min by car to Dundalk.

Beautiful, full of character cottage was the dairy. Min 2 night stay at times, but one night stay may be possible with supplement. An Lochta is a converted , two story, 19th century grain store, surrounded by a mature and carefully tended garden on a small farm, set in the idyllic rustic peace and quiet of rural Co Meath. Despite our seclusion, we are just 10 minutes from the M1 motorway, 1 hour from Dublin and within easy reach of the major historical sites of Meath, Louth, Cavan and Monaghan. (Unfortunately the layout of the building renders it unsuitable for wheelchair users).

The Byre

A unique farmhouse cottage sympathetically restored with views of Lough Swilly. The cottage is situated amongst a peaceful and rural setting. This is a wonderful space to relax beside the fire with modern facilities.
