Longstones Avebury – Kennet

ChrisRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home - it's so cozy and well-equipped, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We especially appreciated how elements of the original barn were thoughtfully incorporated into the design, giving it a unique charm. Ben was incredibly welcoming and took the time to share the rich history of the home and the surrounding area with us. We'd definitely stay here again!

Secluded cottage with garden, 15 min walk to pub

ChristineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved our stay in this heavenly bower. A wonderful haven to rest in and to practise shinrin yoku (Japanese forest bathing/nature immersion to improve wellbeing) in. Download the 'Merlin Bird ID by Cornell Lab' app and have fun identifying the birdsong! The North Wessex Downs are glorious. We visited Avebury, West Kennet Long Barrow and Savernake Forest when we were in the area last year and this time we enjoyed walks on Martinsell Hill and Knap Hill as well as in the small wood behind the cottage. Watching the sunlight in the trees from the garden was magical. Fenella is a friendly, generous host (thank you for the flowers, milk, wine, chocolate, tea, coffee, flapjack, toiletries and kitchen essentials) and the cottage was very comfortable and clean, with care given to everything guests might need. Unusual and pleasing to find the knives were sharp and the pans unscratched in the well-equipped kitchen. A joy to cook there and to eat in the garden. Thank you! We hope to return.

Private self-contained annex in lovely countryside

RobynRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Lovely accommodation behind our hosts home in a quiet, pretty village in rural Wiltshire. Our host Caroline made us feel very welcome and at home on our arrival. Beds were comfortable, bathroom clean, breakfast tasty, host helpful and friendly and resident dog, Freddy, was well behaved and no barking. Outside area for guests to use was a delight with roses and honeysuckle covering the seating area. A perfect place to stay to explore the surrounding area.

Countryside Lodge close to Stonehenge & Salisbury

SharonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Chris and Lewis are excellent and thoughtful hosts. If you plan to visit Stonehenge, it's only 15 mins drive away. There are lots of other historically interesting locations nearby and lovely villages. The Swan in Enford, with its pretty thatched roof, is a 10min walk from the lodge, without using the busy A road and has great food. Also the Dog and Gun, a couple of mins drive away, is excellent. The little lodge itself is really well equipped and perfectly clean. Great garden and very dog-friendly.

The Old Victorian School

AnnaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
A beautiful converted school house space. Thoughtfully decorated with all useful amenities in the kitchen, and a lovely out look from the mezzanine bedroom. Enjoyed local village life, including The Shed for local ale and a chat, and great coffee and cake at the Garden Kitchen café. A short drive to Marlborough, highly recommend the Funghi Restaurant and Raj Indian. A super stay, thank you.

Garden Studio with stunning view

SacredArtofGeometryRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We'd recommend Kathryn's place every day of the week. It is stunning in all ways. Our stay coincided with all the early summer wildflowers and roses in full bloom. And clearly Kathryn and co take pride in their garden and surrounds. Idyllic in every way. Gorgeous walks on the doorstep in every direction! Hope to be able to visit again soon. A big thank you🙏
