Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Manly Council

Our host Hugo was brilliant. Out of the box thinking, helpful and owners were very flexible with our last minute booking. Great location, 4min drive to Warringah Mall and multiple beaches within 5-20min drive. Highly recommend.

Beautiful place in a beautiful location! Access to kayaks and a boat made the stay that much more enjoyable, and house was well stocked with everything you could need.

The place was great very clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. It really felt like home, especially with the well-equipped kitchen. The only hiccup was a bit of miscommunication at check-in, but everything was sorted out eventually. Overall, a lovely stay!

Tina was an excellent host. She went over and beyond making sure we had a great stay, including putting in a brand new BBQ for us which was greatly appreciated. Communication was great prior to our arrival and during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The apartment was very clean and as described. It was great that liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner was provided, as were kitchen basics, tea, coffee etc. The apartment is in a great location, a 5 minute walk from the Bondi shopping mall where you can buy everything you need, and a 20 minute walk from Bondi Beach. The heated pool, although small, is a rare find and great for cooler times of the year, and the lovely covered outdoor dining area is perfect for BBQs. The area is noisy with a busy multi lane main road directly behind the apartment and a school in front of it. The other thing to note is that the apartment is approached by about 10 steep external steps so might not be easy for people with mobility issues.

Honestly, this place was something else. Tucked away in the forest, super peaceful, and absolutely stunning. The castle vibe is real with its quirky, old-world charm, but it’s also really comfortable and spacious enough for a big group. We spent most of our time relaxing by the pool, surrounded by the sound of the trees, or just hanging out in the large living areas. Waking up to the sound of birds and the view of greenery all around felt like a total escape from the city, even though it’s actually not far from some great cafes and bushwalks. The host was lovely and made everything really easy. The place had everything we needed. It was clean, cozy, and such a memorable stay. Would absolutely come back. A hidden gem close to Sydney.

This is a hidden gem. We will definitely stay here again. Just 4 minutes by ferry to the centre of the city but felt like we were another world away as it was so quiet. Jillian was great to deal with. Highly recommended

We had a fabulous stay here, the house is stunning and location is so peaceful. Beautiful view out of the balconies. The house had everything we needed for a big group - it has plenty of space, great layout so all of the bedrooms still felt private. Great recommendations for things to do when we arrived too. We particularly enjoyed going out on the kayaks! Lots of beautiful beaches nearby, the closest grocery store was just a few minutes drive. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Beautiful apartment with panoramic views of shell cove and beyond. The garden in front of the building offers a peaceful and private waters edge perspective of Sydney harbour. We were lucky to be there during vivid and could see fireworks on the harbour while sitting at the dinner table. The apartment is cosy and comfortable with a traditional charm to the architecture. Lovely stay.

Great location, easy walk to the rocks and a beautiful spot to quite up and walk out the door

Absolutely gorgeous apartment in an ideal location - walkable to everything buzzy in Bondi or the smaller more peaceful beaches in the other direction (Tama, Bronte, etc). Perfect location a short walk from Tamarama beach and the VIEW!!! Apartment is lovely and modern inside, very comfortable and feels very private. Victoria was an incredible host and managed to arrange an early check in and late check out when she found out my flight times. Would absolutely stay again!

One of the Best Airbnbs I’ve Stayed In This place stands out as one of the best Airbnb stays I’ve ever had. The space is generous and beautifully arranged, offering a calm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Everything was perfectly prepared to ensure a smooth and comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil and tool you could possibly need, far beyond the usual basics. There were even thoughtful extras, like umbrellas and a welcome gift, which added a personal touch that made a real difference. We felt completely at ease throughout our time there. Every detail had been considered, which made the whole experience effortless and enjoyable. What a great place to stay for 13 days in an idyllic location; comfortable, light and airy with everything you need provided. Just across the road to the park with Edwards Beach on the NE and Balmoral Beach, the Sea Baths, Balmoral Oval and Middle Head on the SE, a bus stop outside travelling to Mosman Junction and Taronga Zoo Wharf ( and ferries to the city) and local restaurants within 300 metres. Ideal accommodation for a family or the more elderly with its proximity to park and safe beach and onsite garage. Julie is also the most friendly, flexible and accommodating host, very prompt in communicating as well as informative. I have no hesitation in recommending Julie’s accommodation after such an enjoyable time.

We had a wonderful stay at Geraldine’s place, it was cosy and clean with all the amenities that we needed. Location was great and off street parking was a bonus. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Freshwater
