Couldn’t recommend staying at the Fiddlehead more! My husband and I loved staying here as part of our honeymoon. It was so comfortable, intimate, and peaceful. And its proximity to Riding Mountain is a total plus! 10/10 experience, and we hope to return!

The property is beautiful—surrounded by nature, with wide open spaces, fresh air, and charming rustic touches that made it feel like a perfect countryside escape. The house was clean, well-kept, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host was incredibly welcoming, it was the perfect spot to relax, unplug, and enjoy some quiet time. Staying at Pranavs place was wonderful. Beautiful and private location. Beautiful cottage with lots of backyard and front yard space. Clean in everywhere and a beautiful hottub. So nice to sit in the hottub and see the beautiful night sky and so many stars! We will be back, my family loved it.

Dora's place is wonderful. It's a little piece of heaven on her farm. I felt so welcomed. It's rustic and far from glamping. You have to have a certain mobility to climb the ladder and get to the loft, but it's well worth it. The place had everything we needed and was spotless. The veranda is so practical. We ended our evening by the fire pit. I will definitely go back next year.

Cottage is 7 km (5 min drive) to the village of Steep Rock, and is a paved highway (currently under construction 2024) It's a great area for canoeing, kayaking, and boating on the lake, swimming and photography. Cottage has a deck with a BBQ, and a fire pit and hammocks in the yard. In Winter you can cross country ski or snowshoe on the property. Occasionally you can see the northern lights, generally in Winter. There is now also a sauna for guests.

We had a lovely stay at Cathy's place on the edge of Grunthal. The rooms were quiet and private on the second floor and we also felt welcome to use the shared space on the main floor. Cathy was a great host, taking time to show us around and talk to my daughter and I about all her animals. We hope to be back soon!
