Villa holiday rentals in Manda Island

Hemos pasado unos días estupendos en Shela. El lugar es hermoso y reina la paz. La casa de Chloé es cómoda y acogedora. Dickson ha sido un anfitrión muy amable y profesional. Ha atendido rápidamente todas nuestras solicitudes y nos ha deleitado cada día con su cocina. La casa de Chloé es muy recomendable y, si vuelvo a Shela seguro que repetimos. Muchas gracias por unos días geniales.

Absolutely one of the best places we have ever stayed. Beautiful house, amazing team, great location. We felt very lucky.

The team, location and the facilities at Moon Houses are excellent. The house keeper, cook and manager were all exceptional in their efforts to ensure we enjoyed a relaxing stay. A highly recommended place to stay!

Нам понравися дизайн комнат, но комнаты были очень разные (по площади и комфорту). Очень приятный дворик с бассейном. Очень вежливый и приятный персонал. Повар делает великолепные фруктовые салаты на завтрак. Поскольку окна не застекленные, кондиционер не предусмотрен, и, поэтому, в помещениях, особенно на нижнем этаже, очень душно. Одна комната на нижнем этаже маленькая и в ней тесно. Несмотря на то, что море рядом, до хорошего пляжа идти минут 10.

Nous avons passé un formidable séjour à la maison Jasmine. Idéale pour deux familles. Très bien située en plein coeur de Shela, à 5min à pieds de la plage et 2min de là où l'on prend les bateaux. La piscine est un vrai plus pour les enfants. Ali et son équipe ont été formidables et la nourriture délicieuse. Je recommande vivement!

We loved Livia’s place (Amani House). While it is a short walk from the coast and central Shela, it’s a pleasant walk through neighborhoods with lots to see. It also felt more relaxing to be on the edge of town than right in it. The chef (Martin) was phenomenal and the groundsman (Philicent) and the housekeeper (Elina) were kind and helpful. Plus you have to take a dhow ride with Omar! He’s a wonderful man. We would love to stay there again!

We had the most fabulous week at Nina’s — it was an utter dream. The staff were incredible. The beach was idyllic. And everyone was so helpful and made our week perfect. Thank you to everyone for looking after us.

À noter que nous n'avons pas été logés dans la maison de Gilles mais dans celle, attenante, de sa soeur Fabienne. Gilles a été très réactif après un problème de calendrier de réservation. En tout cas, chez Fabienne, superbe logement, et accueil impeccable! A recommander.

It’s a very lovely house and we even want to stay for more time, and my wife very likes its kitchen. And the staff is very kindly and sincere, the chef cook well. It’s a very nice experience.

Milele House is such a wonderful place to stay in Lamu Town. We were very comfortable, and the cold pool was a definite plus in the Lamu heat. Getting there on check-in by yourself is very difficult (the map location is wrong), but Jamuhuri will come find you if you write in advance. They are also helpful in scheduling activities such as sunset dhow cruises.

We absolutely loved our stay. The host was very fast to respond & suggested thoughtful activities for us. The house is well designed, full of Art, books, films to look at. The swimming pool was a highlight. The location is at the heart of Lamu & very accessible from the waterfront. The chef was one of the best we have experienced in Lamu & the caretaker was very sweet with our kids. We highly reccomend this place!
