Had a lovely stay at Kim’s cabin. Enjoyed the garden, the bath, the random books selection as well. Everything was clean and very cute. Love the small attentions too. Waked to the recommended cafe which was really nice. The Otaki Beach market was nice for a stroll on Sunday morning. Lots of places to see in the area! Thank you Kim!

What a stunning little escape! Well worth the distance from town. Super comfy little cottage and hosts were so lovely. And Heathers Date scones were fantastic!! (I need that recipe!!) hosts were so responsive and accommodating with extra blankets etc. was such a lovely night away!

Beautiful peaceful stay! Loved cooking outside and listening to the sounds of the bush and the natural hot tube. Te Whare was so dreamy and cosy!

It was really private and peaceful here. Would come again! We loved that we could bring our dog to enjoy this beautiful space and there was even a provided dog bed 😊

We stayed at the kiwi cabin and it was a fun experience during winter. The thermal pool certainly made it fun. The kitchen is well equipped.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay. Was very pleased to find a fridge and freezer as we weren’t sure if there would be one. Lovely clean area and comfortable bedding. Looks small but is spacious and homely. Amazing outdoor bath which was perfect for the cold weather we had. Awesome communication from James. Thanks so much. We had a fab stay, we all loved the animals and the peaceful surroundings.

This is a really cute bach in Castlecliff. It’s walkable to the beach and a local cafe and dairy. It’s very well stocked and makes use of the space well. Angela was very responsive to my questions too. I would highly recommend staying here!

We stayed here for a couple of nights as a base to do the Tongariro crossing. Good space with a full kitchen and comfy furniture. National park is not very big so it's a 2 minute walk to the bar/restaurant/shop. Great base for activities. highly recommend.

We had a wonderful night at John’s place!Our one regret is we only stayed for one night. :) the place was cozy, clean, and had an unbelievable view. It was also a short drive (~30m) to the car park for Tongariro Alpine Crossing. Would absolutely stay again!

We loved our Whareroa stay - a beautiful and peaceful location, and the bach was perfect for our family and dog for a lovely calm week. Well-appointed, comfortable, warm and welcoming. Thanks so much!

Lovely cabin. Modern, clean, well equipped and generous provisions. Comfy bed. gorgeous setting.

Helena was friendly and accommodating. I really enjoyed my stay as well as her spending time the next morning having a very pleasant chat and her 2 younger boys engaging and playing with my son. She is surrounded by nature and I could for hours spend time looking across and enjoying the vast expanse of beautiful views. Would I come back and stay again…..? Definitely

Thank you so much for a wonderful experience! Everything was pristine and the decor was absolutely gorgeous. Very cozy and comfortable but luxurious at the same time. We also really enjoyed the covered outdoor seating area which looks directly out onto a stunning view of Mt Ruapehu. We highly recommend a stay here!

Can’t recommend Lesley’s place enough! Such a gorgeous spot and extremely quiet/peaceful. Lesley as a host is superb - can’t fault anything. Will definitely be back if I’m ever in Napier ☺️
