Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Mameyes II

Thank you Sonia for a wonderful stay! Your warm welcome and quick responses made everything so smooth. The coffee machine, came in handy. The house has so many other amenities besides the AMAZING views all around. House was very clean. We also appreciated the helpful local recommendations. Nearby is El Yunque Rainforest, Richie’s restaurant and Kiosk. We would definitely stay here again!

I had such a great stay here! The apartment is right inside El Yunque, so the views were incredible - totally surrounded by nature. It actually looks even better than the photos, super clean and cozy. The pool was way bigger than I expected, and the waterfall feature was such a nice touch. The host was really responsive and adjusted the pool temp and waterfall within minutes every time I asked. Overall, it was such a peaceful and unique experience. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to everyone!

Staying with Joel was a pleasure. The location was perfect, very accommodating and provided great local tips. The house was fabulous for our group. Big and clean. From the spotless rooms to the thoughtful touches, everything was perfect. Joel was always available to answer our questions. Highly recommended. We’d love to stay here again!

I am so glad i found this beautiful stay in luqillo! I hope to make puerto rico a more frequent vacation destination & this stay at Ricardos will be my too pick! House was beautiful spacious even had a washer and dryer which was so convenient on our last day. We did a lot of excursions so we had a bunch of wet clothes. We stayed up all night in the back patio which was beautiful homey and comfortable! Absolutely loved this home & cant wait to be back. Its close to all excursions around, jet skiing, horse back and atv. San juan is decently close also! Easy drive and nicely secluded.

What can I say the home was very beautiful, very clean, smell very good, clean sheets, the sheets smelled like downy, the host Nelly was great, very responsive. The first house we wanted to actually enjoy it.We loved it and definitely recommend 100/100

El alojamiento cubre todas las necesidades básicas para disfrutar de unas vacaciones en familia. Todas las áreas del hogar son cómodas y organizadas. 🍃 Si quieres disfrutar de Luquillo, Río Grande y otros pueblos limítrofes es un excelente hospedaje, ya que todas las actividades quedan cercanas al alojamiento. 🚘 PD: A segundos de “Kioskos de Luquillo” para disfrutar de la gastronomía puertorriqueña y a unos minutos de “El Yunque” para hacer una caminata pacífica dentro del bosque. 🥟🍹🌳 💯% RECOMENDADO.

Highly recommended. Excellent area just outside of San Juan… perfect for a quick getaway. Plenty of nearby restaurants, beaches, and things to do but also quiet, peaceful, and away from the hustle and bustle. Olivia was a great host - very friendly and helpful.

Nathan AND his house were amazing! Not only was he responsive to our needs, but he came by when we had a minor issue with a toilet. Every time I messaged him, he responded almost instantly. The house was amazing and when you walk out of the front of the house, you have a beautiful view of the mountains of El Yunque. I loved that each room has its own AC unit, so each person can adjust it to their comfort level. My kids loved the chickens and they would wait outside the back door for my kids to come out and hang out with them. Keep in mind that the sun rises on the island SUPER early, so the roosters will be awake around 3am. But that wasn't a problem for us. The kitchen was great and I cooked every day we were there. There is a grocery store called Famcoop Rio Grande nearby and that's where we did most of our shopping. Just make sure you bring your own bags (it's better than Walmart and easier to get to). Overall, this house was amazing and we would love to stay here again!

I really enjoyed my monthlong stay here. Joana was friendly and responsive to any needs that came up while I was staying at her property. She went the extra mile from the beginning to make sure I had everything I needed during my visit. I really enjoyed the beautiful location so close to el Yunque. I come to PR often, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

We had a wonderful stay in Rio Grande at the Rio Mar resort. Margaritas place was exactly as described. We were comfortable! There was so much to do in the area on this beautiful island. I do recommend a rental car to get around the resort and the local area. Our favorite breakfast and pizza place was Lluvia around the corner once out of the resort. Vinilo bar was very yummy for drinks and it is in a neat little entertainment area where kids and adults can play, also right around the corner once out of the resort. Highly recommend!

I fell in love as soon as i saw it. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful apartment with the gorgeous panoramic views

A great place to stay.

I loved this Airbnb. I purchased it because it is near all of the activities which include zip lining, Carabalí adventure park, a short drive to Luquillo beach and the boat terminals, and it’s about 35 minutes away from San Juan. It’s also about 20 minutes away from go karts and Walmart. The penthouse itself included a whole lot of amenities that were helpful throughout my trip. They have everything you need for the beach and it’s clean. They have games, cards to tell you how to make mixed drinks and TVs in every bedroom. It also has pots and pans, as well as coffee machines and blenders. In summary, it is extremely convenient and true to the description. I recommend it to anyone driving around PR.

This place was a gem! The perfect setup for our family with 4 small children. It’s on the third (and top) floor which was so nice! It felt safe, private and had a beautiful view. Loved that it was all one level so no stairs to worry about for our toddler. The space feels very open and large. Loved having a kitchen and washer and dryer. It also comes with beach towels and beach chairs- super helpful. Our kids loved the golf cart and we ended almost every day driving it to the pool (which was lovely). The location is amazing- very close to El Yunque for hiking/ horseback riding, 15 min to Loquillo Beach (perfect for young kids), 30 min to San Juan, 30 min to Fajardo. And a whole row of great restaurants just across the road outside the resort including Puerto Rican food, wood fire pizza, coffee, and smoothies/ vegan fare. We had an amazing time!

Our family of 5 stayed at Jorge's place during the first week of April, and it was a perfect place for us! We appreciated the amount of space we had (3 bathrooms!), the full kitchen, and the balcony was a popular spot for us to hang out. It was very clean and well stocked. AC units in each bedroom kept us cool at night. The overall location of the gated community was ideal as it put us close by the main areas we were looking to explore, and had some nice food options close by. The gated community itself was peaceful and felt safe as we were out and about in the evenings after dark. We rented a golf cart from Jorge which was definitely the way to go to get around and visit other families staying close by and for going down to the beach. The pool in our cluster was nice and quiet. It was a little confusing initially finding the right entrance and accessing the gate, but Jorge promptly answered my call and provided clear instructions to get us there. I highly recommend this place!

Wonderful stay in Oscar's condo. The views from the balcony were great as was the sand beach just steps away. The beach never had more than 10 people on it which made it seem almost secluded even though it is a pretty large resort. The pool area was great, area restaurants were also equally as great. Very short drive to El Yunque which we spent a day at. Arrive early as road construction up the mountain drops down to one lane more than once and backs traffic up quite a bit as crowds increase. The condo itself was great. Large, spacious, plenty of room for two families to spread out. Highly recommend Oscar's place

Ody and Tom were great hosts. We enjoyed staying at their property in cluster 2 of Rio Mar. The location was great and the condo was nicely decorated. We enjoyed the pool. We had a wonderful stay! Vanessa was especially helpful with getting us checked in and oriented to the condo/building. She also went really above and beyond to check in on us and make sure we had all we needed. Location is fantastic. Pool and beach never crowded. Short walk to the neighboring resort, if you want to use their amenities. Parking on site. Close to El Yunque. Short drive to San Juan, Luquillo, and Fajardo. Highly recommended!

I really enjoy the quick get away for my husband and I. It felt like home and was a such a beautiful place. the condo was immaculate and cozy. it was very convenient to some nice local spots.

The apartment was amazing. Beds were very comfortable, very spacious apartment and very clean. They provided tanning lotions, aloe Vera, antibacterial, a notebook of activities and spices for cooking.

We had a great time at Lydia’s place. We had plenty of space, it was very clean, golf cart was great addition, and great views! The king bed was very comfortable. We would definitely come back !

We just got back from a week long stay with our family of 5 and had a wonderful time at Diana's place. The location is awesome and the views of the water from the unit were outstanding....just what our family needed. Diana was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the trip. The entire island of PR experienced a brief blackout during our stay and Diana went above and beyond to make us comfortable and accommodate our family above and beyond what other Airbnb hosts would typically do (we travel a lot and use Airbnb frequently). We have 3 young children ages 5 and under and they had a blast. We would not hesitate to recommend Diana and will keep her in mind for future stays beyond just this location. We will be returning!
