Villa holiday rentals in Maleme

We booked the villa for a week and were more than satisfied. Perfect communication, easy check-in. The villa has a magnificent location, the house has plenty of space and everything you need. The pool was also very nice. I would especially like to highlight the great service and hospitality of the hosts. Great restaurant recommendations and accessibility. All in all, a great vacation and worth a recommendation.

An absolute gem, we had an amazing stay at Maria's place. The house is absolutely beautiful, modern with quality all around. It's also super private with nothing but nature around you. Will definitely be coming back!!

Karolina and Jadwiga are very pleasant hosts and the communication between us was always very quick and helpful. Check-in works perfectly. However, Google Maps showed us the neighboring building. However, the accommodation is written outside and accordingly you can find it that way. The accommodation itself is excellent: modern kitchen and bathrooms, beautiful rooms. And the outdoor area with sunbeds, umbrellas, tables, chairs, BBQ areas and beach is phenomenal! The only thing that is a bit disturbing: you are directly on the main road and in the house itself you can still hear this noise well.

Loved our stay in this remote villa. Amazing views with sunsets from the pool. Beds were very comfortable with quality linens and towels. Nice having the pool heated! House is remote so bring all the food needed. Rather close to Elifonisi beach which was well worth the 20 minute drive. Driving is not for the faint of heart of heart. Many tavernas in the area within 15 minutes drive. Would stay again. Thank you Theoni!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Kedria! Along with the amazing view of Chania and Souda, the house was incredibly beautiful, clean, and provided everything we needed for our stay in Chania. The hosts were extremely hospitable and responded to every question and request promptly. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was an extension of their home. They provided all of the necessary baby gear and essentials for our little one, who also had a great time enjoying the pool. We’ve never had more caring and responsive hosts. They gave us so many travel tips and food recommendations that made our stay here in Chania one of our most memorable vacations. HIGHLY recommend staying here!

My wife and I and four teens (ages 18-19) spent a delightful 10 days in Maleme, Crete during June. The apartment was well-equipped, and we appreciated the refreshing pool and air conditioning at night. Both the owner, Lesley, and our local host, Hannah, went out of their way to ensure our comfort. While the beach was pebbly, there were areas to swim. There are some great local restaurants in close walking distance. Maleme itself is quiet but convenient, with a nearby Synka supermarket. We explored Chania and other towns by bus, and a two-day car rental allowed us to discover more of the island. A boat trip to Balos beach and an island added to our memorable holiday experience.

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. This place is a treasure. The views from the living room and kitchen are spectacular. The house has many clever features that are well designed. The area around Almyrida is fun to explore--go down to the beach or on a hike along the coast. Almyrida is a cute beach town, very welcoming. And we did several further from the town adventures. We had no idea that Crete has so much to offer--pottery in Margarites, beautiful beaches, intense hikes, exceptional museums, exploring Hania's historic streets. The property management team were wonderful to interact with. We felt so fortunate to find such a gem. Thank you!!! We sure hope we can return.

Beautiful villa in a great location. If your are stunned by the pictures, you sure will be stunned by the villa itself - it is simply a gem. It lies at the top of a hill overlooking Kissamos. If you don’t mind a short, steep walk, you can even reach the town (and a supermarket) per foot. If there is anything to criticize then it is the kitchen equipment - a few more big bowls for salad etc would be great. Ioannis is a great host, super friendly and helpful. We are definitely coming back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! The house is truly luxurious, in perfect condition, and tastefully designed with great attention to detail. The layout of the rooms is simply brilliant — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. The heated pool was one of our favorite features — always at the perfect temperature to cool down and unwind at any time of the day. The location couldn’t be better: just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and shops. A very special thank you to our amazing hosts! They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always just a message away. Every little question or request was answered within minutes — we felt truly taken care of from the very first moment. Nikos’s team was incredibly hospitable, and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. They were extremely communicative and helpful in getting our party around the island. We would love to stay at one of Nikos’s properties again and highly recommend their services to any looking for accommodation on Crete.

The Villa Naval is even better than the pictures. It is modern, clean and well appointed with everything you could need taken care of. You can walk to the beach or the local shops easily. The town is quiet but a short taxi ride from more lively areas. We were a group of 8 old friends and it was perfect for us. The host is very responsive and helpful. Fully recommend!

Another big thank you to Giorgos and Maria for their hospitality. A very big sandstorm from the Sahara disrupted everything on the day of our arrival. Our hosts did their best and even the impossible to clean everything and allow us to enjoy the villa in the best conditions. The villa is beautiful. Everything is planned so that we can relax and make the most of it. Full of good intentions, the products available allow us to feel comfortable as soon as we arrive. Our stay was fantastic - property looks better than it looks in photos, the location is great, and the hosts were extremely helpful. We arrived late (10pm on Friday) and they even offered to call the closest restaurant to pre-order us food as the kitchen closed right at 10. They had a ton of guides to the island which made planning super easy, and the hosts continued to go above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We would absolutely rent from them again! Also, the location is great. It’s an hour from the airport, but still very accessible to many great things. You’re about a 25 minute walk to a nice beach, a 15 minute drive to a supermarket, and a 10 minute walk to a great restaurant. Would recommend!

Villa Levante was a perfect peaceful escape with an incredible view. The villa was clean, modern, and had a well-equipped kitchen that made us feel right at home. Vasilis was also incredibly welcoming and responsive, greeting us at check-in despite travel delays and addressing any questions in a timely manner. We had an amazing stay! Highly recommend!

Amazing place. Top quality. Huge terrace with a swimming pool, barbecue. Big rooms, very well constructed. Great bathrooms. Dimitris was great, always available and helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place. Just one thing: in the pictures it looks like a secluded place but it's above a petrol station and a highway. A bit of noise but nothing dramatic. There is another terrace on the other side of the house, a bit more quit. We enjoy our stay a lot. The place is big!

The Airbnb was fantastic, very modern and spacious with an amazing view. The host was extremely helpful leading up to our stay and also during our stay. One of the best Villa’s I have ever stayed in, the pictures do not do it justice. Highly recommend choosing this for your stay in Greece. Only bad thing is that we had to leave to come back home!

This place is absolutely amazing. My wife and I spent our honeymoon at Aikaterinis apartment and we were completely satisfied. The inside provides everything what we needed. The description was absolutely accurate. The fridge is very spacious and there is a freezer as well. We cooked quite a lot therefore this was very helpful for us. The pool outside is very clean and also the temperature was perfect for the hot days in Greece. You can really relax at this place because there is not a lot of tourism at this area on Crete. Also the beach in front of the house is quite nice. We put our hammock under some trees and were watching the sunrise over Paleochora. I can totally recommend this apartment, especially for couples who want some relaxing time and together.

We’ve never experienced an Airbnb like this – in terms of both the villa and the hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to Eftychis and his wonderful mother – you made our stay unforgetable! We were seven people, including three children (one toddler), and everything was just perfect. The villa is spotless, beautifully designed, and extremely well-equipped – the kitchen had top-tier appliances, and the baby gear was modern, clean, and like new. The house is set in a peaceful location with a breathtaking sea view. When we arrived, a delicious homemade Greek salad and cookies were waiting for us – such a warm welcome! Eftychis was available via chat the whole time: kind, helpful, and always with great local recommendations. This place truly combines beauty, comfort, and care. We’d come back without hesitation. We had a really great time here! In real life, the accommodation looks even better than in the pictures. The view was impressive every time, you couldn't get enough of it. Everything was super clean, nicely decorated and exactly as you would like it when you arrive. The landlady was totally warm and attentive. You immediately felt welcome, and if you had any questions, she was always quick to reach and helpful. Overall, it was an incredibly beautiful and all-round successful stay for us. If we could give more than 5 stars, we definitely would. We would come back anytime and can absolutely recommend the place!
