Relax, explore and unwind in this large, cosy apartment on our organic farm, in the foothills of the Serra da Gardunha mountains. Spend the day kayaking, walking or cycling in the mountains, enjoying the largest spa in Portugal (20 mins), & exploring historic villages and cities, then come home to relax in a hammock in the orchard, soak up views from the bath, or chillout to vintage vinyl. We live on site, but the apartment is totally private, being the whole upper floor & with own entrance.

An ideal location for exploring the area, the independent and private double bedroom is set in a rural garden of olive trees, mandarins, almonds, grapes, and figs, surrounded by nature with mountain views of the Serra da Estrela, the highest mountain range in Portugal. A comfy queen-size bed and quality linen + bathroom and kitchenette + Hot shower, mini-fridge, and mini stove ensure you can make the most of your stay. Yurt with beautiful views in rural location

We are nestled in the beautiful rolling countryside just between the city of Castelo Branco & Fundao. This beautiful yurt is situated right on the edge of our land. In a lovely peaceful space between the trees, with a view to the Gardunha mountain. We offer a double bed, small kitchenette with pots & pans, gas cooker, fridge with small freezer compartment, compost toilet, shower & wood for the log burner in colder months. Towels & linens provided. Discounts for weekly bookings.

Casa do Curral - Ramela, a Corral House

At Casa do Curral, you can find all the comforts for a good stay away from the crowds and in the tranquility of a small mountain village. Walking tours through the Teixeira stream valley, along the old postal route, offer different landscapes in each season. The House is located in Ramela, a Portuguese parish in the municipality of Guarda with 218 inhabitants, composed of 4 attached villages: Aldeia Nova, Aldeia Ruiva, Serra da Borja and Dominga-Feia.

The house is located on a fenced farm. It overlooks a lake, a pine forest and the Serra da Estrela, in a natural setting of great beauty. It has the right amenities for a few quiet days, with air-conditioning and electric heating, a refrigerator, a microwave, a small induction stove, an electric coffee maker, a blender, a gas grill and another charcoal grill outside, and a coffee machine (Delta capsules).
