The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the whole area. Helen was flexible with arrival and check in which made the holiday less stressful with small kids! Brixham is a lovely town to stay. The site would benefit from the new clubhouse pool & bar which was opening imminently, which we missed.

Absolutely stunning place. Louise was the perfect host answering every question I asked. The pool was a great hit with us adults and of course the children. The farm tour was lovely and Louise was very understanding when my little boy had a nose bleed whilst feeding the calves. I would highly recommend a stay at The Grange!

Great home with outstanding facilities and location. Pool is a highlight, and hot tub right next to it which is great for when the kids get chilly! Fantastic playroom for them too. Boiling water tap for grown ups teas and coffee with good indoor and outdoor seating areas. Fun for all the family!

A great house for a family birthday celebration . The open plan living area with huge windows was perfect . Quite a hill to walk up from town but that is true of most houses in Salcombe!! We had a wonderful few days there over New Year

Lovely house, stunning views, a fun time for our family weekend, the walk to the beach was tougher than I expected but well worth it. We had a big problem with hot water which was on a timer which had no control over, off at 9am so only 3 out of 10 managed a hot shower, then it didn’t come on again til late afternoon, no chance of a hot shower after the hot tub, after a couple of texts the next day the boost was activated for extra hour in the morning, this needs to be thought through when there are 10 of you, also I wonder Charlotte if you could provide a couple of bar stalls, there is no way you can fit 10 around that table comfortably, however the house is in a beautiful and quiet setting and certainly had the wow factor, thank you Charlotte x

One of our best airbnb experiences to date. Warm and welcoming hosts who made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. The house was spotless and felt brand new, so many thoughtful details were included! Only one warning….you might fall in love with their beautiful dog Alfie!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse and Sophia was a very kind and responsive host (eg we asked if they had a blue tooth speaker we could borrow and it was brought straight round - Thankyou!). We enjoyed the large sociable kitchen space with the comforting Aga to come home to. The garden space was very peaceful and we had great fun in the games room playing table tennis, table football and pool on our first night. We also made use of the swimming pool and playing boules in the garden. The house is large and comfortable for groups and families and has a Manor House feel to it which we loved. Thankyou for a wonderful stay!

As a family of four, we really enjoyed our one night stay at The Pound House. Beautiful cottage in very peaceful surroundings, Jacquie gave us loads of information before we arrived about places to go, eat and also which narrow lanes to avoid. Thanks for having us!

Paul's property was very well maintained with all fittings in good working order. It seemed to have been recently refurbished very professionally. The central location and private, secure parking was a major plus - and saved some expense. The instructions we received included picrures of the items referred to - particularly finding and accessing the property. Probably one of the best airbnb's I've stayed in.

Luke is a fabulous host! Not only is the cottage idyllic, peaceful and charming, but Luke left us some goodies for our arrival. These included a bottle of fizz, some delicious bread and eggs from the chickens he keeps on his small holding. There was loads of good recommendations for walks and activities within the cottage and Luke trod a wonderful balance between giving us our space and being there to offer advice and recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the countryside!

Great place with beautiful views. It has a peaceful, lovely feel to the house. The beds were comfy and the kitchen well equipped with everything we needed to cook. The cottage is in a little commune with some other cottages and there’s a great vibe to the whole place. Katie was super helpful and responsive whenever we needed anything. Perfect place for a rural Devon getaway.

We loved our stay in the tiny cottage, the interior was beautiful and the shower was fab. Lovely walks along the SW Coast Path on the doorstep & close to East Portlemouth for getting the boat over to Salcombe. The local cafe & pub both do great food. Gara Rock Hotel is also worth a short drive to for a drink with a view. Sarah and Mark were so welcoming and it was lovely chatting to them; really great hosts and we’d love to return.

We had an amazing 3 night stay in this fantastic house, it easily fitted 7 adults and two small dogs. The attention to detail in decor and amenities was impressive, there was literally nothing that we thought we needed as everything was thought of and provided and more. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and greatly appreciated. The four double bedrooms (1 was a king or 2 singles) were very comfortable and quality toiletries provided in the three bathrooms. The shared areas were spacious and comfortable with plentiful seating, and all ages catered for. The hot tub and fire pit on the decking was great, and the view from the front of the house is stunning! Denise was proactive from the start and ensured our stay was a perfect 10 out of 10! We wholeheartedly recommend this lovely home from home.

We had a lovely week-long stay in this house in Salcombe. Highlights included absolutely stunning views of the Estuary, walkable distance into town (albeit steep), and 2 off-street parking spaces right outside the house. The house itself was clean and tidy, and well equipped to host our party of 4 adults and 4 kids, and we loved the convenience of the little neighbourhood shop just around the corner. The property host was quick to respond and helpful - We would recommend this property.

Herons is a delightful house in a beautiful quiet location. An easy walk in to town. It took a while to master using the Aga! The house is very clean and well equipped. A lovely sunny balcony for breakfast and a garden with bbq for afternoon and evening sunshine. Ample space for 8 people. We will happily return.

Great location for accessing the south west coast path & as a base for exploring south Devon . Well equipped & comfortable home which was very quiet & peaceful - we would definitely stay here again !

The six of us and the dog had a fabulous stay. The property was in a perfect location very near the pubs and restaurants in Hope Cove which serve great food. The accommodation was very spacious. The lounge was very comfortable with plenty of seating. We could see the sea from the lounge window. The enclosed garden at the back was perfect for our cocker spaniel. We found the property very clean and nicely decorated in a ‘Devon’ style which was lovely. Thank you.

We actually only rented the property for a day to do a photoshoot for our business, so we didn't stay over. However we wished we were. It's a really cool house, much bigger than I was expecting. Would be a great place to stay with friends or family, plenty of space to gather and hang out. It was actually pouring with rain when we were there but the house felt really cosy and airy and spacious. I felt like if we were on holiday and it was raining it would be a great house to hang out in not cramped and stuck inside.

Felt lovely and homely. Mrs and I went down for a wedding, but were one of the few who didn't stay at the hotel. Glad to say we made the right decision, and our guests were in green with envy at our choice. Also the towels were sooo soft!

The location of the house was perfect for us in the town centre. We walked everywhere and enjoyed access to local shops and restaurants including the town market, car boot and classic car meet-up. The house was exactly as described. Light and airy. Very nicely decorated and clean. Bed was super comfy. I would’ve enjoyed lighting the wood burner if the weather hadn’t been so nice. I stayed with my partner and our dog and we had an absolutely lovely time. I would highly recommend and definitely stay again. Sandie, Johnny and Flynn

Chantry Barn was an amazing find and it will leave a lasting feel good impression on me, so much so I really hope we will be able to come back. The accommodation is beautiful,I thought it was better than the pictures! It was spotlessly clean. Both Nick & Jo are super hosts, we were made to feel very welcome. We had a slight problem with the t v, which was sorted out. Communication is excellent. My daughter got to feed a lamb and we borrowed a bucket and spade from there 'shop'. where you have a selection of things to borrow. I honesty couldn't recommend Chantry Barn highly enough!

A really comfortable house. Really well equipped kitchen Luxury bedding and towels Excellent tech - Wi-fi, Bluetooth speaker and tv Relaxing view over the harbour Fantastic cafes and restaurants just down the hill. Gorgeous beach a 3 minute drive or 25 minute walk and a tranquil, secluded beach across the river by an every 10 minute ferry. Easy paddle board and kayak launching in the harbour - a 10 minute walk. Suits active families or quieter groups.

We had a fabulous stay in this gorgeous old Victorian House overlooking Salcombe Harbour. The house was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We loved the beaches and cliff walks nearby and would definitely love to revisit.

Immaculate place with everything you need for a short or long stay, with a very nice welcome pack of food. Great place to watch the Naval boats and beautiful walks on the doorstop. Pace yourself with the steps!!.
