Holiday rentals with a pool in Makry Gialos

Aris und seine Familie haben uns vor Ort super freundlich begrüßt und uns alles im Haus gezeigt. Es gab zur Begrüßung sogar Wein, Wasser, Raki, Obst und eine Karte von der Umgebung. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet, alles in der Küche, im Bad, Gewürze, genug Handtücher, gutes Internet, sogar heißes Wasser in der Aussendusche. Das Bett im hinteren Schlafzimmer war extrem bequem und alles schön dunkel und kühl. Die Badezimmer sind sauber und wir haben sogar eine Sonnencreme und After Sun gefunden. Nichts was wir vermisst haben. Das Haus liegt in einem abgelegenen Dorf auf der Hochebene von Kreta (ca. 35 min mit dem Auto hoch) - also einen Mietwagen benötigt man auf jeden Fall! Der Gastgeber war zu jeder Zeit erreichbar und hat uns sogar noch eine zweite Flasche Wein und Kirschen bringen lassen. Die Nachbarn sind lieb und es gibt Restaurants, Tankstellen und einen Supermarkt in der Nähe. Absolute Empfehlung, wir würden wieder kommen. Danke für die wundervolle Zeit! Eugen & Pauli

Irini und ihr Mann sind tolle Gastgeber. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Bei Fragen konnten wir und jederzeit bei ihnen melden. Es war ein toller Aufenthalt bei den beiden. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Linda's daughter Sorcha greeted us from start to finish and was a fantastic host. Aside from the fact that the property was as advertised in every way, some of the best parts of our trip came from her recommendations. We had such a great time at Haven Villa! The location was super quiet and relaxing — just what we were looking for. The house itself was amazing: very stylish, very clean, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was really well stocked, and even though the rooms were a bit small, it didn’t bother us at all since we spent most of the time outside anyway. The outdoor space was a dream — pool, BBQ area, comfy loungers, a nice terrace and balcony upstairs… just perfect. The beach nearby was also super clean and really nice to hang out at. Marilou, thanks so much for having us! The only tiny downside was that the Wi-Fi was a bit slow and sometimes unstable, but everything else totally made up for it. Would definitely recommend!

Es war perfekt! Wir haben unseren Familienurlaub mit 2 Kindern dort gemacht und waren total begeistert. Die Lage der Wohnung insb. die Nähe zum Stand ist perfekt. Wir hatten für die gesamte Zeit einen Mietwagen, was ich auf jeden Fall empfehlen kann. Besonders gut hat uns gefallen, dass der Pool separat ist und man so z.B. beim Essen keine Angst haben muss, dass die Kinder reinfallen. Charalampos ist ein super Gastgeber, sehr aufmerksam und antwortet sehr schnell. Wir waren uns danach einig, dass wir uns vorstellen können wieder zu kommen. Absolute Empfehlung!!

I was in a challenging situation when my initial booking was cancelled less than 24 hours before check-in. Due to a lung disability, staying in a hotel where smoking is allowed wasn't an option. In urgent need of accommodation, I requested this beautiful house at the last minute. Christine responded within minutes and went above and beyond to meet my needs. The house exceeded all expectations. Christine has created a tranquil haven with exceptional interior design, easy-to-clean tiled floors, and beautifully fitted furniture. Modern amenities, including a washing machine, dishwasher, and state-of-the-art hob, made my stay comfortable. The kitchen has high-quality cookware and spices, showing Christine's thoughtful consideration of her guests' needs. The saltwater pool and provided yoga mats made exercising in the sea breeze a delight. As a solo female traveller, I felt completely safe. Christine’s hospitality and the serene environment made this an ideal retreat- highly recommend it!

Es war ein sehr sehr schöner Urlaub, wir konnten uns in dem schönen Haus super erholen die Aussicht war atemberaubend. Wenn wir Hilfe benötigten war immer jemand zu erreichen. Antworten kamen immer sehr schnell. Vielen Dank und wir kommen gerne wieder.☺️

Une charmante maison ancienne du 18eme siècle au calme avec une jolie vue sur le village et la ville de Sitia. L’hôte de ces lieux est très sympathique et a de délicates attentions lors de l’accueil et pendant le séjour. Il est préférable de dîner dans les tavernes du village que de Sitia car beaucoup plus pittoresque. De belles randonnées, de belles plages et de beaux sites archéologiques à proximité. Maison ultra propre et chaleureuse. Nous y séjournons très certainement une nouvelle fois.

We loved this home. The huge terrace and view are so amazing. We spent lots of time on the nice patio furniture outside enjoying it. We also loved the pool. You can walk to a few spots in the area for dinner and we really enjoyed the patio bar at the hotel next door. Fun spot. Across the street was Pegasus Dive and boat rental. It was so nice to walk there and rent a small boat to see the town from the water. The town is really nice and the perfect size place to explore. We spent a week here and another week in Chania area. Thanks for sharing your home. I would highly recommend it

Merci à Manolis et sa femme pour ce séjour très agréable. Le logement est idéalement placé, dans un environnement très paisible. Les espaces extérieurs (terrasse, piscine) sont un vrai plus. Hôtes très accueillants, nous avons même eu la chance de partager un repas préparé par Manolis, un beau moment de partage ! Encore merci !

one of the best accommodations I have stayed in. a dream view, a fully equipped and comfortable villa. when you arrive there is beer, food and lots of nice touches. the host is exceptional and attentive, he towed my car stuck in a very difficult way when we were 1 hour away from the accommodation and we were really in a big mess… I don't know how I could have done without him. all Greek hospitality and wonderful memories in one place. if we can we will come back without hesitation. thanks again for everything !

Accueil très chaleureux toujours aux petits soins. Très beau logement et jardins impeccables. Belle piscine. Environnement calme et paisible. Très bons restaurants au port de Sitia.

The room was nice and big, view from the balcony was really beautiful, pool was great and the location was the best. You can find everything you need in Istro - shops, tavernas, beautiful beaches. We loved it and we can certainly recommend!

Leuk appartement van alle gemakken voorzien en met een fantastisch uitzicht. Echt een aanrader voor wie Kreta een bezoek wil brengen!

Väldigt fint och vackert boende med fantastisk takterrass. Bra med mellanstädning och bra med egen pool i området som framförallt barnen gillade. Vi hade otur med kraftiga vindar ett par dagar som gjorde att vi inte kunde vara på stranden utan då var poolen helt ok för oss vuxna också. Från vårt boende till stranden var det ca 150 meter vilket gjorde att vi kunde gå ner och bada i havet för att gå tillbaka och sola vid poolen. Många mindre matbutiker, bageri och slaktare alldeles intill. Fanns många restauranger att välja framförallt västerut mot hamnen ca 700 meter.
