Apartment holiday rentals in Makry Gialos

The appartment was perfect, great location with a balcony and view of the sea. Close to nice restaurants and a quiet area. About a 10mins walk to the busier nightlife area. Was also easy to find taxis at the main street behind the appartment. The aircon worked well, and the flat had kitchenette ideal for 2 people. A small shower but worked well and we didnt mind it being small seeing you only spend 3mins of your day in it. Thanos was great at check in and check out and personally welcomed us even late on a friday night. he showed us around the neighborhood and gave reccommendations which was a nice touch.A really comfortable stay. Would stay again if we come back one day!

We had an incredibly beautiful time in Tertsa, it's perfect if you are looking for a quiet place to relax. The beautiful beach is right across the street from the house and all the residents are very friendly, you quickly feel at home and are greeted by everyone. Poppy welcomed us very warmly, she cooked a lot of delicious food for us, which awaited us upon our arrival. She is always quick to reach and very helpful and warm, the most amazing hostess you could imagine! The garden and terrace is also beautiful and you are close to nature!

A truly fantastic place to stay. Exceptionally well stocked apartment with absolutely everything you would need for a long or short stay. Close to lots of restaurants, but well stocked kitchen if you prefer to cook. Beautiful terrace for dining, both undercover and outside. Host Viky is charming and friendly and could not be more helpful. We hope to return another time.

Beautiful place with amazing view, great outdoor area with the pool, parking sposts always available, friendly hosts . Highly recommend , would stay there again for sure :)

Very beautiful, large traditional Greek house. And an extraordinary garden with breathtaking views. With small hammock rest areas, sun loungers. Beautiful outdoor dining area. And a very warm and attentive family welcome.

Very nice welcome the host is super welcoming ,superb apartment with swimming pool 15 minutes from agios nickolas and 40 minutes from heraklion too small for 3 people especially with large suitcases,but for 2 people it is nickel apart from its very clean hotel and everything you need to cook microwave and……..and especially welcome with a basket of fruits that is a pleasure I recommend.

Four days wasn't enough. It was a beautiful time very relaxing. Close to all the restaurants and night life and beach. If you have a rental car they tell you the best beaches to go to the online that not that far of drive. They are responsive and cater to all your needs

Maria is rightly a superhost. We felt right at home with friends and were very warmly received. The apartment is in a secluded location (left and right is two to three kilometers NOTHING but beach and rocky coast. So, a car is a MUST. Maria gave us many good tips for restaurants and attractions in the area; in addition, she came every day with a small delicacy of her Greek culinary art. Maria also lives in a separate apartment in the complex of the villa and there are a few more apartments on the premises, which, however, were not rented during our time (October). The apartment is ideal for SLOWING DOWN - the view of the sea is sensational; as are the sunrises and sunsets. To swim, you only go down a few steps and are on the sandy beach - the water is absolutely clear. So definitely worth a recommendation.

We felt completely at home from the first moment. Niki and Kostas welcomed us warmly and cordially. The apartment is located in a house surrounded by flowers and the furnishings are super modern, chic and impeccable. Everything was sparkling clean and was cleaned regularly. Our little daughter and we loved the place and would be happy to come back. In addition, the location is very nice. If you are looking for a relaxing quiet holiday with plenty of opportunities for fantastic beaches, small cafes and taverns, this is the place to be.

It was a great stay in Riana's apartment. We were there for 14 days and nothing was missing. The towels and bed linen have been changed regularly. You can sit outside on the beautiful terrace to have breakfast or eat in the evening. Riana's parents are so nice and accommodating people. Your mini market, which is located at the apartment, is super equipped. You will find everything you need :) The location of the apartment is great. You are directly on a great beach section, which is super convenient with a small child. The taverns are also very tasty and you can sit on the beach and take nice walks in the evening.

We had a lovely time. It was great to be on the beach. Katerina was so lovely and very helpful.

Cristina's apartment is really great. It's just above their supermarket. A staircase leads directly down to the harbor and beach. Bars, restaurants etc. are very close. The apartment upstairs is not accessible, but feasible even if you are not good on foot. The amenities inside are also great. The terrace is a highlight. There is also a parking space directly on the property. Highly recommend.

This was a beautiful apartment in a fantastic location. Fotini was an amazing host , friendly with great local recommendations for restaurants etc The place was exactly as advertised and the outdoor balconies great at night with a glass of wine overlooking the ocean. This apartment and host is highly recommended. We even had housekeeping service for the two days we were there. A great place to stay in Crete

It was a very pleasant stay with Giannis. The apartment was very spacious and nicely decorated. The location of the apartments is very central, you can reach the center of the village quickly, but there are also many beaches in the area. It was a very calm and enjoyable environment. Our stay was perfect, Roula is super friendly ... she welcomed us wonderfully! In addition to filling us the fridge and the fruit dish there was even Raki to celebrate our arrival! The apartment is super pretty, clean, it is very well equipped and nicely decorated! The terrace is huge and surrounded by greenery! A real little paradise... Roula is available and has good advice, she is a warm, friendly and trustworthy person! We're so glad we got to know him and will definitely be back! A big thank you to this fabulous Cretan!

We had a great time: the studio is new, quiet, right on the beach and just a few minutes' walk from bars, restaurants and even another beach. On the street you can always park without any problems. The bathroom is windowed and the shower is comfortable. Angeliki has always been very helpful, both in terms of the extra information related to the house and regarding the tips on the area; also, knowing that I am pregnant, she had particular care that my husband and I really appreciated! We also met his father on site, who was also very kind. Our stay here was very pleasant and, if we return to the area, we will definitely return to Angeliki!

Great from every point of view. The house was spotless, ready for our stay. Extremely clean, with everything you need to be functional. We didn't miss anything. Our host, Mr. Dimitris, very debatable explained everything how it works with a lot of patience and in the end offered to help us and book us on his own table for dinner in the center of St. Nicholas. The hot tub heated, adjustable was truly an experience for everyone to live. If I ever search Airbnb again in Agios Nikolaos it will be my first choice without a second thought. 5 stars.

It was just nice to vacation in the beautifully renovated old town house. Georgios was always available, even wanted to help us when we had an accident with the rental car. You live very privately and from the roof terrace you have a beautiful view, you can even watch the fishermen.

We loved the Balcony, whirlpool, air conditioners, shades, mosquito nets, shower and kitchen. The quality of this apartment is very high and it was surprisingly quiet! Close by are several nice restaurants. We definitely recommend and would come again 😊 Thank you!

It was wonderful! The apartment was easy to reach by car. Even when driving into the property, the view does not disappoint! Maria was always available, was available for all questions and the apartment is simply an absolute dream! Clean, a lovingly landscaped courtyard, a warm welcome. I felt completely comfortable and the whirlpool was the absolute highlight! I would come back anytime and can only highly recommend it. 😊

We had an amazing time at Katerina's place. Katerina was a wonderful host, very helpful and responsive, always eager to help and share some recommendations. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The pool was very nice and pleasant to relax at. Katerina's place is only a few minutes away from nice beaches and a town called Agios Nikolaos where you can find a lot of good restaurants and shops. The area is very calm, but would definitely recommend having a car - there are not a lot of places in a walkable distance. Overall we had a great time and were sad to leave. We hope to come back one day.

He responds quickly during the stay if needed. The accommodation is clean and functional +++ (spare bed linen + towels available) Equipped and practical kitchen for making good meals. A functional and very useful air conditioning in times of high heat. In terms of location, even without transport everything is easy to access, super market 10 min walk, a very good restaurant that I recommend Avra. The city center with restaurants, shops, seaside a few minutes' walk or drive. Manolis is very attentive if you want to organize activities. The view from the bed and balcony is divine, wake up with a magnificent sunset! The weather is good, the security is perfect, the food is divine, in short, if you are looking for a quiet stay you are in the right place
