My stay at Shillong was absolutely exceptional, largely thanks to the incredible hospitality of Veera! From the moment I arrived, Veera went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable and memorable experience. The house helps Rebecca and Craw were very helpful in providing timely breakfast and all other necessary helps! What truly set this Airbnb apart was the Veera's willingness to help in all possible aspects. Whether it was arranging transportation, offering tips on local culture, suggestions on what restaurants to go or simply being available for a friendly chat, she was always there to assist. Her genuine warmth and helpfulness made me feel truly at home.

We had an amazing stay at the villa during our get-together for the Bryan Adams show in Shillong. The place exceeded our expectations. The villa was spacious with a fantastic hall and well-maintained bedrooms. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to cook comfortably, and there’s even a restaurant nearby that delivers to the villa, with the menu thoughtfully provided by the host. The pool looked great, but since it was a bit cold, we didn’t use it. There was ample parking space, and the outdoor area was perfect for relaxing. The highlight was the bonfire arranged by the helper, Shining, which added a special touch to our evenings. Jess, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, making everything smooth and enjoyable. Overall, a perfect spot for a getaway with friends or family. Highly recommended.

We recently stayed at The Hesed House in Cherrapunjee, and it was a delightful experience. The cottage is beautifully done up, offering a cozy and warm ambiance, perfect for a getaway. With four well-appointed bedrooms, it comfortably accommodated our group of 6. One of the standout features was the lovely library, perfect for unwinding with a book after a day of exploring, it would be a great idea to include some board games and jigsaw puzzles for the benefit of ones who’d want to unwind otherwise. The kitchenette along with a nice big dining table was well-equipped, giving us the option to enjoy some light meals in the comfort of the cottage. The fireplace added an extra touch of warmth, making the evenings feel particularly special with superbly made cocktails. We also had the pleasure of trying the local khasi food, which was flavourful and authentic. Tracy, the attendant, was always courteous and greeted us with a warm smile, ensuring that we felt right at home. Thank you.

Snug and Cozy Tiny House

Good place for a short stay. Everything looks like the pics, it was spick and span, heater and geyser are available, there is a restaurant opposite. The kitchen is well appointed. Only drawback for me was the height of the bedroom ceiling upstairs. The low ceiling made sitting up in bed impossible,also had to bend down just to get onto the upper level. Batista is very helpful and recommended a great driver as well.He was also helpful in making guide arrangements for Mawphlang sacred grove and the David Scott trail. Be aware that Mawphlang in general seems very cold compared to the rest of Meghalaya, in my experience, as we visited Shillong,Sohra,Shnongpdeng etc all of which were much warmer. It was 7 degrees at night in Mawphlang and we visited in March,which I think is summer for Meghalaya.We struggled with the cold and were thankful we were there only for a night.
