Cottage holiday rentals in Mailly-le-Château

We were a family of six that had just arrived at CDG Airport from both US coasts. We were tired and jet lagged. We got to Catherine's house and felt immediately at home and comfortable. It was a PERFECT landing and resting spot for tired travelers. It is so charming. the layout really worked for us. The surrounding area made for a peaceful walk in the nearby forest. The house met our needs in every possible way!

Our stay at Andrew and Marielle's was lovely. They very kindly welcomed us and gave us directions to things to do and see in the area, cafes, swimming and more. The accommodation is simple and comfortable, and the garden is very pleasant.

spacious, functional and quiet, it is only the hot tub that does not work too much, it's a shame because we had booked here for this criteria.. The owner was sorry which allows us to accept better and leave 5 stars because otherwise everything is fine.

Very nice New Year's Eve in the warm atmosphere of this house, including its large living/dining room and pleasant Lights. Frame/decor: ++ Cleanliness: ++ Amenities: ++ Bedding: + Notas: - Slightly noisy heat pump for one of the double bedrooms on the ground floor (winter) - Long fixed bench for one side of the long living room table: for agile guests. The other side of the table has chairs.

Denis is a great host. We really enjoyed the stay at his place! It is really quite and total relaxing at Denis' place. Even when the heating stopped working he called his neighbor and she helped us within one hour. I can totally recommend his place!

We had a great weekend in Bruno and Laurence's beautiful home. We were wonderfully welcomed by our hosts who were always available and very responsive. In addition, we were able to enjoy the superb gardens and the shaded terrace, as well as the fruits and vegetables to be enjoyed directly on site. Our dog also really enjoyed the place. We'll definitely be back.

Dominique's accommodation exceeded our expectations: in addition to the fabulous countryside decor of absolute tranquility, with many walks from the house, we had the pleasure of discovering a warm accommodation, furnished with taste and great attention to detail, but also perfectly renovated and equipped. The very attentive welcome from Dominique and her husband, both extremely considerate and discreet, touched us very much. Children appreciated the contact with animals and the relative autonomy allowed by the location in the heart of nature. We felt like we were arriving "at home", and we will return without hesitation for a break from rest in the countryside!!! Thank you so much!

Joanna and Julien are a very charming, attentive and responsive couple. We were very well welcomed The house is comfortable and very well-equipped. We felt right at home. Quietly secluded and close to the fields, the nearest woods and village within walking distance. A nearby lake and the museum and the Colette house to visit that unfortunately we were not able to do because we were closed for work until April. The house is well heated and the fireplace is a real plus. Warmly recommended

An exceptional place for lovers of calm and nature. The house is very comfortable but its strong point is to be in the middle of the grounds of a castle , in the heart of a forest . In the morning, deer come under your windows , you'll find them walking around the park. There is also a swimming pool and tennis. Gaëtane welcomes these hosts with a smile and with ease . Everything is really perfect.

I had an exceptional stay in this beautiful house! The place is spacious, bright and tastefully decorated. Everything was perfectly clean when I arrived and I really appreciated the little touches left by the hosts. The village is quiet and pleasant, ideal for resting. I highly recommend this address and will gladly come back during my next visit to the region

Very functional house, with charm, and access to the garden which is very pleasant. The surrounding countryside is pretty. Beautiful bike rides possible on the nearby Burgundy Canal.

Very nice exotic place for a weekend with friends

Maurice is very welcoming and very friendly. The accommodation is clean, well-equipped and very spacious. The terrace is lovely. Maurice responded to our various requests with responsiveness. We'll be happy to go back.

Flower Cottage, and the surrounding gardens, is a little slice of Heaven. Olivier was superbly welcoming and we had the most fantastic stay. This super little rental is understated chic and far exceeded our expectations! Thank you Olivier.

We had a wonderful stay with Isabelle, it was the second time for us. The cottage is really fantastic and equipped with every comfort. It is in a great location, the swimming pool, the pentang and tennis court are a valuable addition. The castle garden is spacious, well maintained and provides an oasis of peace. If you want to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Sancerre and then relax and enjoy, then Isabelle's cottage is the perfect choice!

Lovely place - very comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful gardens and places to relax. Yves and Christine are always available to help if needed but also respect guest privacy. Great bike rides in the area and Clamecy is a sweet town; also recommend Dijon and Auxerre for visiting.
