Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Maidstone

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour en famille à Maidstone. La maison est fonctionnelle, agréable et très propre. Son emplacement est idéal pour visiter le Kent et Londres est facilement accessible en train. Nous recommandons.

Can't knock the property for what it is. Cozy little house, right near to the town centre and nearby shops etc. Good location for heading into town with a 5 minute walk. Parking can be quite busy around the property but luckily the permit provided with the booking works for lots of nearby roads too, and I found a space on a road less than 45 seconds walk away. Only thing I would've liked is a way for shower head to be held up in the bath. A shower head is present, but it doesn't have a fitting to keep it above head height without being held by hand, as it is attached to the top of the bath taps. Other than that, no issues or complaints whatsoever, and it was cheaper than nearby hotels. Would stay again if I had a need to be in the area.

Great stay, very nice place and good location, and lots of parking space which was important as we had two cars. Everything was as described and Diana was always easy to reach and very helpful. Can recommend to anyone.

Great place, easy to communicate with Mary, very clean and as described, perfect for a long weekend break with my family- thank you! just a tip for future families- the stairs inside are very steep so be careful and the road the house is on is very steep too and pushchair might be a struggle to push. We didnt have any problems :)

We stayed here on the way home to north England from the channel crossing and before visiting family in Greater London, the bungalow is spacious, quiet and very comfortable, with everything provided for a short or longer stay. We could tell it was a loved family home in the past. Kathy is friendly and responsive to any questions or hiccups that may arise. The garden surrounding it is an absolute delight and a much needed respite from the busy-ness of southern England. So pleasant to see greenery all around the house. We would definitely use Kathy’s place again and recommend it to others.

We were very surprised by the size of the annex as it was much larger than we anticipated. The annex was very well appointed, extremely clean and comfortable. Chris and Linda had equipped the place to a very high standard. It felt very homely. The property is conveniently situated just off M20 in a quiet residential area. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

It was so wonderful waking up to the fantastic views across the sea. The accommodation was just as described and we had a lovely time.

I was so impressed with this apartment, it was spotless, well located, fantastic sea view! It’s a short walk from the station, on the sea front. The kitchen is well equipped and there was ice in the freezer! Highly recommend.

The flat is perfect for a stay for one or two people for a short break in Rochester. It's is easily walkable to and from the station and easy to find. It was peaceful but near the centre, the castle, cathedral and river with an incredible number or eateries nearby. The instructions for getting in were clear with no problems and the key box easy to use. (I have fought with a couple in the past!) The flat itself was spotless with all the amenities you need. There was plenty of kitchen equipment and Linda left milk, tea and coffee. My only note of caution, was it was up 3 flights of stairs which was easy to manage but I did have to take my bags (I don't travel light so had two ) one at a time. I would highly recommend this most comfortable flat if staying in Rochester

Nick, thank you so much for hosting us. We have great time! Apartment is lovely! We enjoyed staying in your backyard area in the evenings and just chill and relax after a long day of walking. It is just 7-10 mins walk to the tube and overground train stations. Lots of places to dine and fresh, tasty coffee spots. Very lovely neighborhood. Thank you again!

The property was spotlessly clean and well equipped. It was very well situated and well suited for our weekend needs. Good links for everywhere we wanted to go. The local chippy and the pub were very conveniently situated. We would certainly rebook next time we’re in the area. Thanks for a lovely weekend!

Flat is fabulous, great location, we found it and got in with no trouble. The view is one of the best we have had!! The flat is spacious and very comfortable, great shower, and bath!! All in all a wonderful week away in a lovely home from home .

We hadden een heerlijk verblijf in Angela’s huis! Met vier personen en een hond was het echt fijn om zoveel ruimte tot onze beschikking te hebben. De locatie is prachtig – zo dicht bij de zee en omringd door mooie natuur. Er waren ook veel leuke dingen te doen in de omgeving, wat het extra speciaal maakte. Angela was een ontzettend fijne host: vriendelijk, behulpzaam en goed bereikbaar. We zouden dit verblijf zeker aanraden aan anderen!

We had a lovely overnight stay at Tom’s place and the property had everything we needed and more. It was clean with modern decor and lots of space. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into ensuring guests are well catered for. The balcony was a lovely addition, as were the snacks/breakfast provided. We especially appreciated the fans on a hot summers day! Even the bathroom is lovely, with a large shower and provided toiletries. Location is great and convenient for Canterbury town. I’d strongly recommend staying here as a base for Canterbury/Kent. Clear communication from the host and easy access via the lockbox. Thanks Tom!

We had a very comfortable stay. The high quality accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed and more, . Diana was the perfect host who made us feel very welcome and went out of her way to make sure we were happy. A bonus in the hot weather when we stayed was the air conditioning. The views from the Garden Room are stunning as are the beautiful well kept gardens. We hope to return again in the future. Highly recommended and good value.

I really enjoyed my stay at Tara's flat. Exactly as described, with everything you need for your stay, the flat was very clean and well maintained. Easily walkable into the city centre, and handy for the wider Kent area too. Would definitely stay again.
