Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

We had an amazing weekend in Moka, with such an amazing view, quiet and peaceful atmosphere, and a very beautiful and comfortable home. The house is something else. Extremely clean, in a perfect spot, with everything you need and more. The house is perfect for a couple, has all the amenities and all the tools needed to stay, relax, cook and drink. We had such a great experience with the stay, the communication and the hospitality of Kathi and Ivan. The decor of the house is so cute, modern and comfy, all the details are so pretty that ir looks like you are looking all these amazing places from Pinterest! Well… we loved it too much!

We had a beautiful time with our family in Maggio. Swimming pool is an asset. Covered terrace is very cozy and practical. Everything you need is available. Good outings base for outings. Host is really communicative and helpful. The wifi didn't always work well. In general, highly recommended!!

Apartment in Nesso has amazing views! It’s the main reason why we chose this place and we were not disappointed. Its astonishing! It’s also within a walking distance to Nesso fall. Restaurants and cafes are nearby. The pool was well maintained and comfortable. Kitchen was relatively well stocked, enough appliances to cook your own meals. We discovered some minor issues in the bathroom, but because there were two, we easily adjusted. Elevator had some issues, but got fixed. Just keep in mind that these kind of places are not newly built, so they do have some hiccups. All in all I give it a five ⭐️ and would come back again.

Everything is super beautiful: you will have the wonderful double view of the mountains, the sound of birds and the stream. A house with attention to detail and with great attention to be warm and welcoming. The kitchen is equipped with everything and more with lots of complimentary things. Thank you Nicoletta for our stay in this beautiful, peaceful and totally relaxing apartment. Sitting on the terrace at all times of the day and night with just the sounds of the waves, church bells and occasional boats was unbelievably relaxing. The immediate locality was so friendly - we loved the cafe aurora which had the warmest welcome and lovely home cooked food - also the Giardano a Lago was a lovely place to enjoy a drink with generous portions of food right by the lake- but it was also magical to eat in the apartment sitting on the terrace as the sun went down and the lights across the lake started to twinkle. The C25 bus, which was mostly reliable. made heading along the coast to Como or Agregno (where we had the most fabulous 2 hours on the lake after renting a boat from the company you suggested) so very easy and we were very glad not to have a car. Thank you again for all your suggestions and help and we hope to return before too long - a perfect holday destination.
