Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Magdalen Islands

This place was a true haven on our journey through Nova Scotia. Thanks so much to the excellent hosts for all the thoughtful touches (like coffee cream and excellent recommendations) AND for arranging lobsters for us. There is a lovely beach just down the road and some great hiking trails nearby. Highly recommended

1. Place is amazing. It's better than it looks in photos. 2. We absolutely loved the cleanliness and the way everything was setup. Small touches of perfection everywhere. Even the home temperature was perfect. 3. We loved the goodies. They were like a pleasant surprise. 4. The views were absolutely stunning. Could watch it all day long. 5. Many great trails including skyline trails are short drive. 6. Host Daniel was super responsive, helpful, and kind with everything. 7. The kitchen was well setup. Everything that we could have asked for, was there. Thank you for setting up the place in such a wonderful way. This place is highly recommended if you are in the area and want a nice peaceful place to stay.

Neat house, good location.

We had a wonderful stay here. The home is beautiful and Jade was communicative before and throughout our stay. The booster seat and children's games were great as we were travelling with a toddler. Ideal location close to the local beach and the Cabot Trail/Cape Breton Highlands park, with a park pass included as an extra bonus. We would love to return.

Riley and Catherine’s place was very comfortable and incredibly well stocked, they’d even included a basket of delicious treats. They made our stay easy and were always quick to respond.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay here. We explored the area and completed lots of hikes near by. We visited the Co Op grocery store every day and made our food at the Airbnb. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed. We loved the view from the kitchen and living room area. We also enjoyed having the space upstairs as well as the separate space in the basement. The 3 bathrooms was a bonus!

We found Nicola’s place to be a perfect location from which to start each day whether we wanted to go in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction for our travels on and around the Cabot trail. The house itself was very clean, well-maintained, and on a lovely lakeside parcel. A family of otters enjoyed breakfast at the same time we did one morning. Fishing season was closed for us, but not for them. All three of them dined and heartily!

This was a wonderful house ! We enjoyed it very much . Every detail was perfect . Our host were very responsive . We will be back for sure this summer .

Wow, great experience at this location. The view of the accommodation is beautiful, beautiful sunset. All the services are nearby and Shelby really thought of everything to make us feel at home.

Quaint place with updated furnishings and right on the water with cute swings on the deck. Jonathan was very helpful, responsive to questions and provided recommendations on local eateries and things to do. Much appreciated!

Very responsive and friendly host! He provides us with electric bikes to visit the surroundings. The accommodation has everything you need to live there and cook good meals. The place is beautiful with access to the beach about 5 minutes' walk. I highly recommend it!

David was an awesome host. Hé made sure we had everything. the view by the water is great. The spot for the fire is very nice. We had à great stay!

We loved our stay! The location is amazing - right on the Cabot Trail and super close to so many different hikes! The view out on the water was the perfect way to start every day and end every night. Would absolutely recommend?

The cottage was clean, cozy and comfortable with nice decor. It was private and had we a wonderful stay. Chrissy was very friendly and responded right away if we had any questions. Would definitely stay there again.

Can't say enough about Jay and this place - this has been one of my favourite AirBnb experiences to date. The property is expansive and stunning, with beautiful walkable charming footpaths through the woods to the ocean, and a real sense that Jay stewards over the land with love. The little cabin feels spacious, cozy, uncluttered, homey, and private. Attention to detail like the tone of the lights/ambience, woodland themes while maintaining a fresh, clean and tidy space. I can see how this place would be a welcome reprieve at any time of year and look forward to returning. Jay's hospitality is second to none as well!!

Very nice little cottage, everything was very clean, we had all the necessary equipment for our stay. You have to be aware that we are a little further away on the island but with a car no problem, we returned in peace. In the evening the internet connection is slower and the TV is not wired. Otherwise everything is perfect, I will go back without problem and I have no problem recommending it to my friends.

After exploring the cabot trail all day, it was great to end the day at Daniel’s cottage. The place had everything we needed and we loved that it was in a quiet area near the beach. Definitely will be coming back next summer!

Gorgeous location, cabins were perfectly sized, clean and as described.

Clara’s place is a great stop off if you’re visiting the Cabot trail. The cabin is beautiful and has everything you need. Clara is very welcoming and even left some of her delicious baked goods for us in the cabin. There’s also a well stocked convenience store on site. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
