Lucho wasn’t just a host, he was our friend. This guy worked night and day to make our excursions happen! Did not expect that for such a cheap price! As well, the macaw that lives at the lodge is quite the character!

Very nice place a little away from the city, space, nature, tranquility and a warm welcome! I felt like I was at home. I would highly recommend.

Everything was amazing! The two brothers that run the place are extremely nice and accommodating. “Mi casa es tu casa” is their moto and they made us feel it. The food was also incredibly good and a highlight of our stay. Overnight they made us a fire in the pit and we watched the stars. Highly recommend and we hope to return.

If Melissa and I could give a 10 out of 5 review we would. Jaime and his entire family went above and beyond for us. Let me start by Jaime having his cousin pick us up at the airport. When we arrived we had nothing planned, Jaime sat down with us and went over all the excursions that are picked up right from the property. We chose our activities and it was all organized. We either met them at the dock or in the driveway. The family always made sure we made it away safely. The meals were amazing, large and very accommodating. Altering meals to our preference (I’m vegetarian). When we went to the city, we were provided with a list of places to go. The bed was very comfy, very clean and we woke up to the river every morning. The property was paradise with fruit trees, hammocks and docks to sit and watch the water. We will always think of your place when we think of Peru! Thank you for the amazing stay ! 🇵🇪 🇨🇦

Staying at Andrea’s was perfect for two days. The space itself is absolutely beautiful. The room is clean and comfortable. The property offers sauna, cold plunge, and plant baths. You can also order delicious food. There is wifi on the property and an outdoor shower with hot water!! Andrea was great with communication and helped out with anything I needed to make sure I was comfortable. If you find yourself in the valley & need some self-care time, this would be the place for you.

Thank you to the whole team who received us, he really offers all kinds of very interesting and enriching activities to discover the jungle , its fauna and flora... very relaxing too, and very friendly, nestor and his wife, Theo, and Augusto are very efficient and friendly to explain everything to you and have a pleasant time, we were with family with our 2 children and they really took the time for us, thank you to the team

Casa de Aida is a magical and unique place... with that magic of the Earth, where there are birds, butterflies, many beautiful flowers and leafy trees... where a beautiful bunny comes out to greet and a Rooster appears to show off its beauty. The places are completed with the beings that inhabit it, and here we find sweetness, care and above all very good people. Ursula and Italo are wonderful people, who together with Pedro and Lola, their loving dogs, made us feel at home. The place is really beautiful!! Our room had dream architecture and it was the place of calm, which my mother and I needed. I would absolutely recommend it, Well, me too, I'll always come back!

I loved the place. It is a cozy space full of good energy. I had the opportunity to do a reiki session and it was perfect for disconnecting, relaxing and reconnecting with myself. Without a doubt, a very special experience in Cusco.

Very nice lodge in the middle of the rainforest, the approach with accompaniment is a bit tedious as you have to go through the rainforest for 1.5 hours and this can only be done with a 4x4! Adventure feeling Guaranteed! The beautiful lodge with its location and tranquility as well as the always helpful staff compensates for this.

La Cachuela lodge is a very beautiful place in the middle of the forest. It sleeps lulled by the sound of birds and insects. Be careful, it's for adventurers: we are 11 km from the city, there is no electricity and the water is a precious food. Disconnection guaranteed!

Lucho's place was an absolute dream! Set away from the town in the jungle it provided a place to escape and relax in nature. Lucho was a great host: he made every effort to make us comfortable and to show us the amazon. He is passionate about nature, conservation, and birding and he shares his enthusiasm with his guests on all of his tours. The food served at the lodge was excellent. Organic, fresh, and delicious. We would definitely recommend this lodge to anyone travelling to Puerto Maldonado.
