Farmstay holiday rentals in Madre de Dios

When I read other people’s reviews of Carolina’s house I thought “how could an Airbnb be this amazing?” Well, now I know! Between the location, the grounds, the vibe, the people, the house exceeds any other I have been to and we have been to many!!!! Carolina connected us with Marle to help with cooking and housekeeping for our stay. Her food was delicious and her attentiveness to our needs was beyond compare. Ferdinand is a gem. He was our driver during our stay in sacred valley. He was dependable, reliable and went above and beyond booking us guides on our day trips. One of the guides that Ferdinand was our own travel agent! Marle found my wallet that I left in the house and reached out to me and Ferdinand offered and then drove 2 hours to meet me and give me the wallet without charge!!! (We obviously gave him money as a thank you! ) But this is the kind of people working here. The beds were comfy, the grounds were magnificent and the house was spotless. Best rental one can find!

Maria’s place has the best of both worlds. It’s surrounded by farmland and animals, but is conveniently right next to the town of Urubamba. We had a medical need during our stay, and Maria was so kind and helpful. In fact, you will not find a better host than Maria. Maria, who is bilingual in Spanish and English, is very knowledgeable about tourism, transportation in the Sacred Valley. The 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Airbnb is actually nicer than the pictures. Having the second bathroom is quite a luxury when you have more than one person. The hot water in the showers is a little weak, a little tricky to regulate, but you’ll figure it out. You will meet 2 sweet donkeys, chickens, and I think 5 friendly dogs. We really enjoyed befriending the animals, however the dogs do bark (at cats etc) quite a bit. All in all we had a wonderful stay, such a great value. Many thanks Maria & Gustavo.

I stayed one night before my trip to machu pichu and one night afterwards (I could leave my big bag there). I liked, that it was in a side part of the village. The family was super nice. Bring some time, then you can spend some time with them. I even had breakfast and lunch with them (:

This is the place for your visit to the sacred valley. Perfect location in the valley and a great and super friendly host. Nice garden and very quiet environement. Her English is really good! We had a perfect stay

Everything was amazing! The two brothers that run the place are extremely nice and accommodating. “Mi casa es tu casa” is their moto and they made us feel it. The food was also incredibly good and a highlight of our stay. Overnight they made us a fire in the pit and we watched the stars. Highly recommend and we hope to return.

It is a magical place for being somewhat hidden but close to the whereabouts of the buses, where upon arrival you will find a beautiful place full of vegetation, two loving and playful puppies, two cute kittens, the Yuna hikes so fun and cute, the cozy and particular rooms, a wonderfully clear sky, when you wake up the healthy and delicious breakfasts, a place where you can disconnect from the city and connect with nature and yourself. What a pleasure it was for us to stay with Carlos and Norma for our time in Urubamba. If you are thinking it's a bit out of the way, it's absolutely worth it. Their home is beautiful and their presence is warm. We did our best with minimal Spanish on our side and lots of Goog Translate, but we made it work. They are generous and hospitable hosts. We would absolutely return.

Wonderful!! The hotel is very nice and very quiet to rest in a magnificent environment. The owners are very nice, discreet and available. The kitchen is of very good quality, the room is comfortable, clean, bright and the garden is very nice. I spent 3 wonderful days to rest after a long trip. I really recommend this hotel. Thanks again to the whole team.
