Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Madre de Dios

Wir haben uns gleich sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr nett eingerichtet, die Lage im Tal ist toll. Es gibt kleine Tiendas in der Nähe zum Einkaufen. Der Gastgeber hat uns sogar kostenlos vom Bahnhof abholen und zur Unterkunft bringen lassen. Das war ein super Service. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

La casa de sueño, tal cual las fotos!!! Fuimos con niños y había facilidades para ellos, no tuvimos que llevar cuna ni mesa de comer. Es super privado y seguro! La casa está decorada como si viviera ahí todo el año, mucho detalle en cada rincón, lo que te hace sentir como en casa :)! Muy buenas indicaciones para restaurantes, transporte y actividades por la zona. Sofía me escribía cada cierto tiempo a preguntarme si todo ok o necesitaba ayuda con algo. Es la 2da vez que me quedo en casa BINI y siempre será mi primera opción. Todo impecable, la señora que cocina y limpia es muy atenta, cocina delicioso y te da muy buenas recomendaciones! Una belleza de casa 🤍!

When I read other people’s reviews of Carolina’s house I thought “how could an Airbnb be this amazing?” Well, now I know! Between the location, the grounds, the vibe, the people, the house exceeds any other I have been to and we have been to many!!!! Carolina connected us with Marle to help with cooking and housekeeping for our stay. Her food was delicious and her attentiveness to our needs was beyond compare. Ferdinand is a gem. He was our driver during our stay in sacred valley. He was dependable, reliable and went above and beyond booking us guides on our day trips. One of the guides that Ferdinand was our own travel agent! Marle found my wallet that I left in the house and reached out to me and Ferdinand offered and then drove 2 hours to meet me and give me the wallet without charge!!! (We obviously gave him money as a thank you! ) But this is the kind of people working here. The beds were comfy, the grounds were magnificent and the house was spotless. Best rental one can find!

I agree with the other reviewers—the photos don’t do justice to how truly stunning this place is. The setting is absolutely gorgeous, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. The garden is a little paradise, with hummingbirds and other wildlife visiting daily. It’s just a short walk to mototaxis that can take you into town. The local people are incredibly kind and generous, always ready to help. Fabiola was warm, welcoming, and always available to answer questions or offer suggestions. I can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful location! I have to been to many places in Puerto and this looks like it doesn’t belong here. Very nice and very big. Many fans keep it cool and the kitchen area is great for large groups to cook and enjoy. The inside is super clean and makes you feel at home. I hope many other find this gem. It’s a little far away from the main Plaza however there are many good restaurants and grocery stores walkable nearby. I will definitely be coming back next time I’m here!

Tuvimos una experiencia maravillosa en este alojamiento. Desde el primer momento, Karen fue increíblemente atenta, cálida y servicial, siempre disponible para cualquier consulta. El lugar es exactamente como se muestra en las fotos, e incluso más bonito, impecablemente limpio, decorado con buen gusto y con una atmósfera muy acogedora. Todo estuvo perfecto, hasta nos dejó unos postrecitos de cortesía deliciosos. Recomendamos este alojamiento sin dudarlo.

This house is amazing – the pictures truly don’t do it justice. It’s spacious, spotlessly clean, super comfortable, and incredibly peaceful. You have everything you need for a perfect stay, from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy furnishings that make it feel like home. One of the highlights is the outdoor jacuzzi – it’s the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The location is also fantastic, with beautiful nature spots and charming local places just a short drive away / or public transportation. Highly recommend – I’d definitely come back!

My husband and I really enjoyed our month-long stay at Unuwasi. Erika & Yuli are excellent hosts - very kind, helpful, and responsive to all of our needs. The unit is spacious, modern, cozy, and very clean. The outdoor space and surroundings are extremely beautiful & peaceful. This stay is perfect for relaxing & enjoying the outdoors. The food is also delicious - the best Lomo Saltado we’ve had yet! Our only issue was that the hot tub didn’t work as well as we had hoped. Regardless, we highly recommend staying here during your trip to the beautiful Sacred Valley!

El lugar es hermoso, la vista en todas las direcciones hacia donde hay ventanas es preciosas y tiene todo lo necesario para estar cómodo. Dominick fue súper atento tanto antes como durante la estadía. Tuve un pequeño percance con el canto de los (muchos) gallos de la zona, y el descanso, pero pudimos ir resolviendo. Es más bien aconsejable para quien tenga sueño pesado... Si no, personalmente recomiendo conseguir earplugs que les queden bien cómodos por si alguna madrugada se ponen muy pesados los gallos. Una amiga recomienda unos marca Happy Ear. Consideren conseguirlos antes de viajar. Todo el resto, súúper recomendable en todos los sentidos!! Y Dominick es muy buena persona. La casa es muy muy buena. Y Urubamba es lindo.

Wow, what a pleasant place. I loved the design, with the skylight providing lots of natural light, and wonderful balcony to enjoy the view. The interior has exposed wood and lovely touches, especially the native handwoven rugs. Entry was very easy because a staff person was there to give me the keys. At night it was quiet. I slept well. The large bathroom had plenty of hot water in the shower.

Johuel is a wonderful host. He was very responsive with everything we needed. He even changed our towels and sheets during our one-week stay, which I found very thoughtful and impressively clean. He also let us store our bags for an afternoon after we checked out. One important thing to know is that the apartment is not soundproof; it’s in a complex where you can consistently hear other residents in their living spaces and showers. It was not a huge problem for us, but it was unexpected. Generally, the apartment was perfect, and I was very impressed by how clean and well-prepared it was. The shower was very hot and all cooking necessities were provided. Right behind the apartment is a beautiful trail through farmland up to the mountains. We suggest this home for people coming to explore the Sacred Valley. It is VERY easy to get to and from Urubamba and every town in the Sacred Valley. We would definitely stay here again! Excelente experiencia, el departamento es muy acogedor. Y la ubicación inmejorable, cerca a la plaza, al mercado, farmacias y todo lo necesario. Totalmente recomendado para pasar un tiempo en familia.

Diego is very attentive and responsive to requests. Home is clean and beautiful. Located close to all resources, walking distance to bank, restaurants, market, transportation. Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking in home. Home is located in safe area. I would stay with Diego again.

Such an incredible place and location. Ada is an incredible host and made sure I felt right at home the entire stay. I spent 5 weeks here and enjoyed every moment of the place, the rooftop terrace / views, and surrounding area. Very peaceful and quiet. Central to all the amazing places in the Sacred Valley. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to fully immerse in this beautiful part of the world.

Aderly is an amazing host. He has an amazing and descriptive guidebook for the town. The bed, pillows and comfortor was very comfy and the views from the living room and bed as well as the terrace was amazing. Daily sunset views from bed and sunrise views from the terrace. He had dumbells on the terrace which allowed me to do some light exercise and the walk to the plaza is really nice. This town has the best food in the sacred valley and Aderlys apartment is in the heart of it all. He helped us with our luggage when we arrived and that was an amazing touch considering that we had just flown in to Cusco and had not yet acclimated. The stairs up to the 6th floor took a bit getting used to but I genuninely feel that it helped prepare us for the amazing hiking thats around town. We would return here in a heartbeat.

Fue muy amable, super hospitalaria desde que nos dio la bienvenida hasta que nos despidió. Siempre respondió a nuestras inquietudes y solicitudes con rapidez. El lugar muy acogedor y tranquilo. Camas cómodas y con bastantes frazadas para el frío. El lugar estaba frente a una pequeña plaza, linda vista. Definitivamente volvería a hospedarme ahí. Gracias Cintya, muchos éxitos.

The apartment was perfect for us. The bed and furniture were comfortable, there was very hot water, the tub was a luxury, the view of the mountains was beautiful, and the apartment has lots of natural light. Aderly made sure that we had all the information we needed, recommended nearby restaurants, and even arranged a transfer to pick us up when we checked out. We didn't do any cooking while we were there, but the kitchen was well stocked and had we wanted to, we would have easily been able to cook meals. It was also really nice to have a washing machine to use.

Fany was very helpful. I needed a place to stay in an emergency and this was the perfect temporary home. Everything was clean and worked great. I highly recommend Fany for your Peruvian host and home away from home. She was very kind.
