Holiday rentals with a patio in Madison County

We enjoyed our short stay at Teresa’s apartment. It had everything we needed including water and seltzer in the fridge, snacks and tea/coffee. We would stay here again when traveling in the area.

I had a really relaxing time staying at Amanda's place. She was always quick to respond to questions. The place was very clean, and I thoroughly enjoyed the view of the water. The place is a quick drive to Hamilton where there are shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at Ayesha's Place! Super sweet host, she was flexible with the check in time and greated us with treats! Such an amazing stay in a beautiful location with a stunning trail Ayesha showed us! 5/5 stars and we definitely recommend people to stay here when visiting the area!!!

I'm going to preface this with saying I'm very pickie when it comes to cleanliness and this place was top notch. I was disappointed to realize there was no oven as we were going to make Thanksgiving dinner. A few safety concerns tho: I did not realize this was on the second floor and you had to walk up stairs to get to the room. Not great for someone with arthritis, but it wasn't horrible. Second, the door at the top of the stairs going into the apartment does not have a lock on it and the door handles are the kind that are very easy for toddlers to just open up, which is a huge safety risk for me, making sure my 18 mo old grandchild didn't open the door and fall down the stairs. Third the parking area was very very dark, the two solar lights that are in the drive there are not bright enough, which is also a huge safety risk. Very comfortable space and I would definitely stay again!

The place was clean and comfortable. Great location close to restaurants and shopping.

Good overnight stay. Convenient location for us. Could benefit from some basic coffee/tea/sugar or snacks for travellers staying overnight, given the price that is what we found in other small overnight places and it really improves the experience.

We were looking for a quiet place to stay for the weekend while in the area and this worked out well for us. Located in an older neighborhood, it was a short drive to main roads, restaurants and coffee shops. And both weekend evenings were very quiet. I loved the sound of the train whistle in the distance at night - it reminded me of my neighborhood when I was a kid! This is a very clean and comfortable place to stay, and Adrian’s instructions were very clear and helpful.

This cottage is awesome-such a classic! You are truly surrounded by water on three sides. It is quiet and private. We spent most of our time on the enclosed wrap-around porch; the place is a gem!

I can't say enough great things about our stay! The hosts were awesome to deal with...always accommodating and available, the location was perfect...right on the water/ice, the residence exceeded our expectations and had everything we needed. The location is perfect with a short walk to exceptional fishing. No need to scramble trying to find parking...its all right there for you. We enjoyed a weekend of ice fishing with family and friends and definitely plan on coming back this year. On a scale of 1 to 10...this is an 11! Highly recommend!

The home was just as described on Airbnb. It was larger than it looked and had plenty of room for everyone to be able to have their own space when they wanted. All necessities were well stocked, and we felt no need to run out and shop. The home is VERY near Hamilton College and is the perfect place to stay if attending an event there. Cathy was very pleasant and responsive, and even provided a gift basket to welcome us to her home. We would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at the house. Beautiful views of the lake and very comfortable. The house was stocked with everything we needed.

A comfortable and accommodating space with beautiful views of the lakes. The hosts were helpful and communicative. We knew exactly what was expected of us. Our favorite parts were: space for all staying with us, the very comfortable mattresses and the access to beautiful views greeting us morning and evening and in between. We enjoyed watching the resident ducks, geese, osprey, eagles, house sparrows while being serenaded by a song sparrow each morning. Kitchen appliances were modern and high quality. Bathrooms had attractive updated fixtures. As is not uncommon in CNY, the basement bedrooms felt a bit damp, which was helped by running the basement bathroom fan and AC fan while we were there. (The host has a dehumidifier that looks like it is probably run when guests are not using the space). The cleaning crew missed a few details before our arrival, but overall the space was acceptable and the host daily initiated reaching out to see if there was anything that needed addressed.

If you are looking for a retreat in the form of a home away from home, I highly recommend Waterfall House. The landscape, scenery, and waterfall provided a peaceful environment. The home is very well appointed, which made us feel at home and comfortable. Nice amenities. The waterfall provided a beautiful, tranquil sound that lulled us to sleep—no sound machine was needed. Plan to drive a bit for groceries and entertainment, but it's worth it. We stayed at the property for our son's graduation from Syracuse, so we had to factor in driving time. Still, it was a nice respite at the end of the day, and we enjoyed sitting near the window to watch the waterfall as we relaxed in the evening and over coffee each morning.

Robby was great! The house was perfect and everything we needed was there. The space perfectly fit our needs.
