Chris and others were very responsive. The house is located in a very nice part of Alton. Very quiet neighborhood. The neighbors are very friendly too. One morning I locked myself out and Darlene came to my rescue. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay and cook if you wish. Thank you all

Absolutely perfect stay! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we could possibly need. The host, Marie, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, providing helpful recommendations. Marie made Christmas truly special for our family. The communication was seamless, and check-in/out was a breeze. The location was ideal – peaceful yet close to everything we wanted to explore. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily stay here again. Highly recommend!

Lisa is great. The home is beautiful, clean, it felt so relaxing. We loved to walk around the little pond, just beautiful . Neighborhood is very friendly and peaceful. Made for a very relaxing trip. Lisa thank you so much. We had 4 kiddos with us- so the park just across the tree lined street was such a benefit. We would love to rebook every time we come back to the area.

Perfect little house for my husband and I and our son. It was very peaceful, and comfortable. I loved the little sunroom/porch on the front for reading after little man went to bed.

The neighborhood was quiet, which added to the overall experience. The host is very nice and great with communication. Check-in was super simple. I had a wonderful experience staying at Gifted By Design’s place. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. Check-in was smooth, and the host was responsive and helpful throughout my stay. The location was great close to downtown and some family we had lived really close by. I really appreciated the cozy decor, well-stocked kitchen, my kids really loved the basement tv area. We are from Texas and we don’t have basements and they thought the couch and tv was their own private batcave. Would absolutely stay here again!

Mike was an excellent host- great at communication and allowed us an early check-in so we could have time to change from our travel clothes and make it to a funeral. The place was tidy and had everything we needed. Beds are soooo comfy!

Mike was super responsive and helpful even checking early to make sure I was okay with the bed situation with my number of guests and reaching out when a larger place was available for upgrade. The place had a fantastic view and very nice beds with a large bathroom. I would love to stay there again!

Amanda was an AMAZING host. We had a small issue and she was extremely communicative and had the issue resolved immediately. We loved everything about our stay and the surrounding area was a bonus. Would definately stay there again!

This place was a very fun and unique stay. The converted school house has interesting history. The apartment is very spacious and very clean. The beds are comfortable. The coffee shop downstairs has a very fun and funky atmosphere and great drinks. The available homemade pastries and quiche looked amazing too! It’s conveniently located to shopping and sightseeing. Highly recommend staying here if you get the opportunity. The one downside i can come up with is there are 3 locked doors to go through in order to get into the apartment upstairs. Not a big deal though.

It was a perfect place to stay for a quick girls trip!

very cozy space. looks exactly like the pictures. very clean. host is very responsive and friendly. the beauty supply underneath came in handy when i broke a nail. the bathroom is HUGE. the shower can easily fit 2. the tub is do-able with minimal effort. the hard part is getting out of the tub when youre done. only cons: 1. paper curtains in the bedroom, so no darkness whatsoever. we were up with the sun. 2. mattress was worn. there is a large strip across the top section where it dips in. we slept with our heads at the foot of the bed the 2nd night and it was better.

Tricia was a wonderful host and her place was perfect! Zero complaints or issues. We will be booking this cute little apartment next time we come to town.
