Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly like the description in every way and it often exceeded expectations. Spotlessly clean and amazing views out to sea. I would book again.

Great stay! The accommodation is spectacular, large spaces and very bright. Located in a quiet area, but within walking distance of restaurants and a small full grocery store.

The accommodation was as shown in the photos and described in the description text. It was clean and very modern. When the sun is shining, the pool is perfect and offers a nice cool-down. Host Sonia was super nice and the communication was great. We were completely satisfied and would be happy to come back! There were two of us, but the accommodation is certainly great for 4 people.

Sofia and her family were incredibly welcoming throughout our stay. While many hosts simply seek extra income, Sofia is different—she genuinely loves hosting, and we felt this warmth throughout our visit. We had an absolutely fantastic time at Myrtus House. The space was well-equipped with everything we needed. The Honesty Pantry (donation-based) was a thoughtful touch, stocked with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as cooking essentials like pasta, rice, and sauces. This was especially appreciated when we arrived on a late flight after shops had closed and you can’t bring liquids on planes. The next morning, we could simply grab a drink for the road—so convenient! The beds were comfortable and spacious, though the pillows were a bit too soft for our preference. The house is located in a peaceful neighborhood, perfect for a restful stay. They had Disney+ available on the TV, and the internet connection was excellent with great speed and latency.

We spent four wonderful nights in Madalena do Mar and the experience couldn't have been better. The village is charming, quiet and perfect for disconnecting, with stunning sea views and sunsets that seem like a postcard. The accommodation exceeded our expectations: clean, comfortable and with all the details well thought out to make you feel at home. We loved waking up every morning to the sound of the sea in the background and enjoying breakfast on the terrace overlooking the banana plantations and the Atlantic. The location is ideal for exploring the island: close to Calheta, Ponta do Sol and other points of interest, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy peace and nature. In addition, the locals were incredibly kind and hospitable. You can feel the warmth of Madeira's people. In short, it was a perfect getaway. We would recommend this area (and this accommodation) without hesitation, and we hope to return very soon.

Lovely house. Complete and lots of privacy. No amenities within walking distance. No problem for us, but something to keep in mind. The house is also high, which can save a few degrees. If you are staying here, please remember to go for dinner at the Sunshine Pub&Grill. Highly recommended, see also reviews on Google.

The property easily lives up to the description and the pictures. The houses are fully equipped, very nicely decorated and comfortable. The swimming pools offer stunning unobstructed views of the ocean during the day and of the sky at night. There are no road noises, the place is truly calm. Grocery stores are a few minutes away by car, as are restaurants. Numerous hikes can be found in the region. The host is very reactive and will provide many recommandations related to restaurants and activities. Renting both houses to two families is a great way to spend time together while also having some privacy. I would go back there without any hesitation.

There was a group of 8 of us and we had the most amazing stay! The location is super close to the airport and the main town making it easy to get around. It is very private house so it feels like your own secluded space. The access to the beach is stunning and the large deck with the pool, sauna and BBQ make a perfect space to hang for the day. Beautiful house overlooking Funchal & ocean. House was well equipped with everything you may need during your stay (pool towels, baby high chair, gym equipment, fresh linens & very well stocked kitchen appliances). Short drive to shops & restaurants. The house is on a steep hill, you will likely need a car to get around town. Host was responsive and communicative. Would stay again.

This is how AirBNB should be. The house is stacked with everything. How often are you in an Airbnb and they only have 6 plates? Here they have 20+, they have Great knives, tons of kitchenware, enough toilet paper, plenty of dishwasher tabs and also cleaner for the washing machine. Things you normally expect but somehow got lost in the making money machine Airbnb is now. Not here!! A absolute crazy welcome basket (have not had such a big one ever), friendly crew and absolute amazing place - can only recommend

We had a great stay at Villa de Carmina. Everything was perfect. The house has all the features necessary for the success of our family vacation. The pool is a real asset. Thanks to Carmina for the breakfast on arrival.

I had a very pleasant and good stay at the Hillside Villa. At arrival I got very well received by Elvio at the villa. He explained everything good and gave some tips and advice for my stay. The communication is very good with Mandy an Elvio. Friendly and respons was fast. They give you the feeling your stay is important to them. The Hillside Villa was very clean and very well equipped. The pool is heated and nice also to use on a bit colder day. The garage is big enough for a medium to big size car. The street to the garage is a bit small but doable. So a bit of a challenge with a big size. Further the outside door space was clean and very useable with different place to seat during the day with sun. The neighbors are very nice people. A beautiful villa with an even more stunning view. Located in a peaceful, remote setting, it offers complete tranquility, you wake up to the sound of birds instead of traffic. The villa is well-equipped for cooking, which made staying in easy and enjoyable. The pool is exactly as pictured and offers breathtaking views of both the sunrise and sunset. A truly relaxing and memorable stay.

Beautiful home in a very serene setting. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. We had alot of rain while we were there but loved spending time on the rooftop deck area and enjoyed the heated pool. The only downfall is there is not alot to do within walking distance. You definitely need a car. The main highway is very close which makes it convenient to explore the island. Definitely reccomend to eat at the family barbecue restaurant up the road (Restaurante Perreira) So delicious, beautiful setting and nice people!

Well what can I say about abor villa- By far the best air bnb we have ever stayed in. Absolutely exceptional and decorated beautifully, so artistic and clean and akin to a boutique hotel. Emma was a fantastic host, she made the whole stay exceptional for our young family. Personal touches such as a mini chair for our two year old with suitable cutlery, cups etc ready for us, even taking the trouble to remove the legs of the children’s bed so not too high from the ground. She provided a box of toys for our children and ensured staples were ready for us after a late flight so that the children had food and milk- something we whole heartedly appreciated. The position of the villa was ideal- close to the capital, excellent views , close to restaurants and local towns and ideally situated so easy to get to the northern sites of the island which really wasn’t far when renting a car. Emma was easily reachable and offered lots of recommendations. The pool and views exceptional, we will return!

Villa Gia is as stunning as the photos, with a stylish, spotless, and modern design. Henrique, the incredibly responsive host, met us for check-in, shared great local tips, and quickly resolved any minor issues. The driveway was no problem for our Mitsubishi ASX, making this a seamless and highly recommended stay!
