Roberta's listing was everything and more. You are in a safe area with security holding down the front 24/7. The place is spacious and can accommodate your party comfortably. We had help keep our place tidy, which was wonderful considering we were all on vacation. Roberta was communicative and efficient with responding - sharing her local recommendations and truly made it feel like we had a friend in Rio. Views from every room, it was difficult to decide which one to select (considering I was the birthday celebrant!) I'm the type of traveler who likes being away from the city and enjoying more local areas. It is close to the city, however, be cautious that traffic will make getting to city attractions a bit much longer (but it is worth it)! All in all, the place is affordable and definitely worth it!

A beautiful space with amazing views. My family of seven had more than enough room. We arrived at 2am and had no issues accessing the home. There was a 24/7 security Marco was wonderful and was always up waiting for us. The house is located in a quiet residential area. people were friendly and we were close to everything We used uber to go everywhere it was super inexpensive. The kitchen was well-equipped and l was able to cook meals for a large group. The hosts were easy to communicate with and very responsive to all concerns l loved the peace and serenity this home provided during our stay in Brazil. Thanks to our hosts

Our 8-day stay at this location in Rio was absolutely amazing. The host organized an airport pick -up for my team and I and was there to greet us. The host gave us a tour of the home and left fresh fruit for us to enjoy. The home is in a great location with stunning views of the beach and is not too far from Copa and other attractions (20-30 minute uber drive). The home itself is well-maintained and was very comfortable for a group of 4. I’d highly recommend this home.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this Airbnb! We were a group, and from the very beginning, we felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of. The house is beautiful spacious, well-equipped, and super comfortable perfect for groups looking to relax and enjoy their stay in comfort. Marcia and Andréia were both amazing throughout our time there. Always available, kind, and attentive, they made sure everything ran smoothly and that we felt at home. A Carla foi uma ótima anfitriã, desde o início da reserva disponível e solicita, pronta para responder e nós auxiliar no que fosse. Todas as demandas que precisamos, Carla as resolveu, inclusive indo ao local para tirar dúvidas. A casa contém três bons quartos. A sala e a cozinha são grandes e muito funcionais, trazendo conforto. A garagem embora apertada coube dois carros grandes. A piscina é pequena. O check-in e check-out ocorreram com a maior tranquilidade. O detalhe desta acomodação é a localização, que é muito boa em relação à praia da macumba, no Recreio, pertinho da praia e supermercados. Porém, na chegada o GPS nos direcionou ao local, passando por dentro de uma comunidade, que fica próxima ao imóvel. Não ocorreu nada nesse deslocamento e durante a estadia, mas a sensação de chegar ao local, passando por dentro da comunidade não foi legal, levando em conta o contexto narrado no RJ. Destaque para a praia da Barra e Grumari, excelentes e bem próximas ao imóvel.

Our experience at Sam Río’s art deco mansion was wonderful. Everything was great from check-in, cleanliness, communication, outstanding location, and even some playboy posters make for an authentic rio feel inside of the beautiful art deco mansion. The balcony has breath taking views of the sunrise and sunset. We had a group of 8 guys, who all had plenty of room for themselves. This mansion is located near the favela’s but we never once felt unsafe and even got to walk through and explore the favela area, just be smart. Located right between Ipanema and Copacabana, we felt like we were located in the middle of everything. Short walks to the great beaches, shops, and restaurants. Overall, if your looking to get the authentic rio and cultural feel I highly recommend staying with Goitaca in this beautiful art deco mansion.

Minha família e eu tivemos uma estadia maravilhosa. A casa fica em um local muito reservado e cercada por uma linda floresta. O pequeno rio em frente à casa criava uma atmosfera calma e tranquila. A casa estava limpa e exatamente como nas fotos. O espaço era bom e a internet era boa o suficiente para trabalhar um pouco.

Simplesmente a melhor estadia que já tive em uma propriedade alugada pelo Airbnb. Surpreendeu não só na velocidade de resposta, quando na recepção. Viajei com um grupo de amigos e ao chegar na casa, Jorge passou um bom tempo nos apresentando ela toda, mostrando cada detalhe e a casa estava impecável. Além disso mandou várias dicas de locais para irmos e foi com a gente em comércios úteis na região. Camas ótimas, roupas de cama novinhas, casa extremamente cheirosa e o espaço como um todo muito organizado e bonito. Não tive nenhum problema e por se tratar de Rio de Janeiro, a região é extremamente segura, tranquila e bonita. Recomendo MUITO se hospedarem com ele e conhecerem mais a região, que fica mais afastada de todo o agito da zona sul e área central. Perfeito pra quem quer descanso e curtir uma folga/férias. Diogo received me in such short notice, and was flexible with my check out time. Marianna was also really helpful, responsive and communicative. The place was cosy and had all the utensils needed. Will deffo recommend.

I recommend totally this place, the house/apartment are great and in excellent conditions. Is a very private place to relax. The hosts are wonderful. All in our stay was ok.

Sem palavras para agradecer à Cristina e Moema pelos dias incríveis no Joá. O check in presencial é o começo nota 1000, mostram tudo e dá vontade de ficar batendo papo. Melhor check in que eu já fiz na vida! A casa tem uma vista linda, energia boa e detalhes que fazem a diferença: amenities de banheiro, produtos básicos de cozinha e lavanderia, Wi-Fi bom e até chocolates de boas vindas. Os móveis e utensílios não são novos mas funcionam perfeitamente. A jacuzzi é quente e gostosa, a mesa de bilhar com 8 bolas para jogar “mata-mata” carioca foi uma baita diversão todos os dias. O condomínio é seguro, sem barulho, a praia da Joatinga não é longe mas é melhor ir de tênis, acesso difícil com muitas pedras. As anfitriãs enviam dicas que valem a pena, com lugares escolhidos por quem tem bom gosto e cuidado com os hóspedes. Estiveram disponíveis o tempo todo, superando as expectativas e melhorando a viagem. Esse lugar deixou saudades! Espero voltar em breve para tomarmos um café na Carol!
