House holiday rentals in Maclodio

We had a wonderful stay with our family of 8 at the Villa. We were prepared for the little walk through the village to access the villa having watched the video that was in the villa manual that was provided in advance of our stay. The villa itself is immaculate and well equipped. We found the layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms to be ideal for 4 couples. The bedrooms had breathtaking views of Lake Como and the outside sitting areas were very private and also had great views. The pool was clean and easy to access providing a welcome cool down during hotter days. Maximillian was always available on WhatApp to answer any questions. The village itself is small and quaint - we had a nice rustic meal at the local restaurant and the owners were very hospitable. From the villa we drove down the hill to Menaggio where we got a ferry to explore the region. We hired two cars at Linate Airport & were able to explore easily. Highly recommend a stay at Familia Bremner villa. Thanks Ute & family

Die Unterkunft war super und die Kommunikation war auch immer Top. Sehr ruhig gelegenes Häuschen- also genau richtig zum abschalten;). Der Pool war klasse und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Alles in allem war es ein toller Urlaub .

You can pick fresh veggies and cherries straight from the garden—yes, they taste as good as they sound. The kitchen’s got everything you need (and bonus points for the charming red tablecloths). The house is spacious, the view is unreal. One spontaneous 5am wake-up turned into a front-row seat to the most unforgettable sunrise. Only regret? Not staying longer.

Massimiliano hat mit diesem liebevoll renovierten Bauernhof ein echtes Kleinod geschaffen. Die Ausstattung ist durchdacht und hochwertig, es fehlt an nichts. Die Lage im kleinen Ort bietet viel Ruhe, ist aber gleichzeitig ideal angebunden – Autobahn, Supermärkte, Tankstelle und McDonald’s sind in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Besonders geschätzt haben wir das inkludierte Tennis- und Angelangebot. Ein echtes Highlight war die herzliche Gastfreundschaft, auch gegenüber unserem Schäferhund Lego. Dass große Hunde hier nicht nur erlaubt, sondern wirklich willkommen sind, ist nicht selbstverständlich. Das vollständig eingezäunte Grundstück war ideal für ihn – und dass Massimiliano mit einem Lächeln zugesehen hat, wie Lego ab und zu in den Pool sprang, sagt alles über seine entspannte Art als Gastgeber. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und werden ganz sicher wiederkommen.

We had a wonderful stay! The view over the vineyards is absolutely stunning, and the pool was a real highlight – perfect for relaxing. Alberto was very kind and helpful, which made us feel really welcome. There are also some great restaurants nearby, which was a big plus. The only small downside was that the beds were a bit worn-out, but everything else more than made up for it.

This home was honestly such a dream! The host was easy to work with and provided a very helpful video for check in. The parking lot/suitable drop off point for a driver is a bit of a distance from the house, on a cobblestone walkway with stairs along the way. It was a lot of work to get my luggage to the house but SO WORTH IT! It’s absolutely gorgeous and as pictured. The outdoor areas are all stunning and lush - I loved sitting outside for coffee, breakfast, and watching the sunset in the evenings (but bring bug spray)! It rained most of my stay so I didn’t use the jacuzzi or outdoor shower much, but they were functional (I checked) and looked lovely. The ferry station and bus stops are about a 5 min walk away and a local market around 3 minutes away. The couple that owns the store was so sweet! I walked to 3 different restaurants nearby for dinner. They were within 3-15 minutes walking distance and wonderful food! This will absolutely be my first choice for a future Lake Como stay!

Het huis van Matteo is voortreffelijk! Een heerlijk zwembad, grote badkamer met bubbelbad en een badkamer met inloopdouche beneden. De keuken is volledig uitgerust! Buiten kun je heerlijk zitten. Toen wij er zaten hadden we twee stormen. De eerste storm zorgde ervoor dat een vloerkoeling niet meer werkte. Meteen werd er geregeld dat wij mobiele airco’s kregen! Wat een super service. Dit was buiten de macht van Matteo, maar hij regelde meteen dat zijn broer en moeder kwamen om alles te controleren! De moeder van Matteo stond ons ook op te wachten toen we aankwamen. Wat een lieve vrouw! We hebben heerlijk genoten in het huis en bij het zwembad! Bergamo is om de hoek en goed te doen met het openbaar vervoer of taxi. De bus stopt bijna voor de deur. Onze hond kon vrij rondlopen zonder dat we hem in de gaten hoefden te houden. Maar met 30+ graden lag hij het liefst in het koele huis ☺️. Dank je wel Matteo voor je service en dat wij mochten genieten in jou mooie huis!

Clelia ist eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Man fühlt sich wohl und willkommen. Wir wurden mit leckeren Lebensmitteln versorgt. Alles war da, sehr schön! Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.

Picturesque setting! Villa felt like home!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Sweet Escape. Innocenta and Fabio were very generous and hospitable. They picked us up from the bus station and gave us local recommendations. The place is clean and the AC works well in the bedroom. The location is incredible and you really can’t beat the views for the price. Varenna is a beautiful city, Innocenta and Fabio make it feel like home. Hopefully we will be back!

Silvia hat uns in ihrem Häuschen einen traumhaften Urlaub beschert. Das Haus ist wunderbar gelegen, mit einem Garten voller Olivenbäumen und gut riechenden Kräutern im Garten. Der See ist über einen privaten Zugang direkt vom Garten aus erreichbar. Man hat einen sensationellen Blick von der Terasse aus und findet an heissen Tagen Abkühulung im unteren Bereich des Hausen. Eine Waschmaschiene, Spülmaschiene, 2 Kühlschränke und super saubere Badezimmer standen uns zur Verfügung. Die Küche beinhaltete alles, was benötigt wurde. Das Geschirr war sehr sauber und die ganze einrichtung im Stil der 70 er gehalten. Wir haben unseren Urlaub in diesem Paradies sehr genossen und alle Erholung und Entspannung gefunden. Danke Silvia für diese wunderbare Zeit!

OMG we’re coming back asap!! The family (10 people) spent a great time there to celebrate my wife successful PhD defence. Highly recommended!

We booked Ugo's home for one reason.... the view. It did not disappoint. We drank our morning coffees and ate our meals on the balcony. We actually went to a restaurant with an amazing view, but after we left, we stated we should have just cooked and ate outside the house since it is so private. Ugo provided coffee, which was highly appreciated! We bought the wrong coffee at store. The fruit platter was amazing and ate at every meal. Oh, I made orange juice and was delicious! We were given directions to free parking in bellagio. Plus, we got a flat tire and Ugo helped direct is where to repair it. Overall, go for the view amd don't leave the house! Unless you want to walk to town to get coffee, fresh meats, and gelato but go directly back!

The house is charming and comfortable, ideally located. It is even better and more spacious than the pictures portray. The hosts were very helpful when my son got sick. And they let us know that the train would not be available after a certain date so we could plan our travel back to the airport accordingly. There is no a.c. But we had a fan for every bedroom. All of their recommendations are terrific, especially the closest restaurant, Locanda Cavallino. We ate there twice. And the view…unreal.

Fantastic stay, location just as it looks online, clean, spacious and comfortable. Groceries nearby, cycling routes and buses. Beautiful view, definitely would recommend this place!

We had a great stay! Maria was incredibly attentive, easy to communicate with, and genuinely cared that we had a good experience—offering helpful advice and tips throughout our trip. The apartment itself was spotless, very comfortable, and well-organised. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into creating a welcoming space, and as a guest, you really benefit from the clear and well-kept rules. The location is also a major plus—there’s a metro stop right outside, which made getting around the city really convenient. Highly recommend!

Siamo stati ospiti allo chalet di Adamo solo per qualche giorno ma è stata un'esperienza indimenticabile. La casa è ben tenuta sia all'interno che all'esterno, con tutti i comfort e ben attrezzata. Anche Fara, la nostra bimba pelosa, si è subito ambientata ed ha apprezzato soprattutto l'area esterna che circonda tutta la casa. Marco è stato sempre disponibile e ci ha fornito anche valide indicazioni riguardo i vari percorsi da fare in zona. Abbiamo avuto anche il piacere di fare la conoscenza di Adamo che ha gradito le nostre insalate. Ci ritorneremo volentieri

Wir hatten einen rundum perfekten Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus in Malcesine! Fünf Nächte waren wir zu viert mit Hund dort und haben jede Minute genossen. Die Lage ist absolut ruhig – ideal zum Entspannen – und das komplett eingezäunte Grundstück war perfekt für unseren Vierbeiner. Besonders gefallen hat uns der liebevoll gepflegte Garten und der atemberaubende Ausblick über den See und die umliegenden Berge – einfach gigantisch! Direkt vom Haus aus konnten wir tolle Wanderungen unternehmen, unter anderem bis zum Monte Baldo. Ein großes Dankeschön an Monica – sie war jederzeit erreichbar, super herzlich und hat uns sogar mit frischen, eigenen Kirschen verwöhnt. Die Zufahrt ist zwar etwas eng, aber selbst mit großem Auto gut machbar. Ein echtes kleines Paradies – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt bei Anna. Die Aussicht bis runter auf den Gardasee ist atemberaubend schön. In der Nähe sind einige kleine aber feine Restaurants und Limone bietet alle Urlaubsmöglichkeiten. Annas Haus ist perfekt eingerichtet und bietet alles was man braucht um glücklich zu entspannen ...

O. M. G. Andrea was the best host! When you think “host with the most” that’s him. He was the most responsive, kind, generous and amazing host we have ever encountered. The place was GORGEOUS. With the most wonderful view and right down the road was a perfect “beach” where we ate at a few times and spent the day to soak up the sun and water. He checked in on us every morning and evening making sure we didn’t need anything and offered the most generous things. We can’t wait to come back and visit Andrea and his beautiful home again. 10/10 recommend (even though this place is so perfect, part of me wants to gate-keep it 😉) BOOK THIS PLACE! Literal perfection.

We had the best time at the lake house! Everything was great and we loved swimming in the lake right after waking up or just whenever we felt like it! Maria is super nice and quickly responded to our messages.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Stefanias Haus. Die Lage ist top, wir haben fast nie das Auto gebraucht, was mit kleinen Kindern perfekt ist. Der Strand, Bäcker, Restaurants und Eisdielen sind alle zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Garten ist auch wunderschön und sehr groß mit vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten.

The place is calm and has a wonderful view of Verona. It’s well-organized and set up as a studio with everything you need, along with a private bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, and living area. The outdoor garden is a highlight, with unique seating that truly helps you relax and clear your mind. The location is easy to reach by car, and I highly recommend it for anyone traveling by vehicle. Guendalina and her husband are kind and cooperative host—they really go out of them way to help with everything you might need.

Pieros Haus ist wunderschön und sieht genau so aus wie auf den Bildern. Der Blick auf den Gardasee von der Dachterrasse und dem Obergeschoss ist einzigartig. Piero war total freundlich und zuvorkommen, einer der besten Gastgeber, die wir bisher hatten. Danke, dass wir auch mit zwei Hunden willkommen waren! Tignale ist ein toller kleiner Ort mit Supermarkt, Bäcker, Metzgerei, Apotheke, Eisdiele und anderen Läden in Laufweite. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und können, Tignale, die Casa Delle Rondini und Piero als Gastgeber nur empfehlen. Mille Grazie!!
