Holiday rentals with a kayak in Lyon County

Let me just say the house itself was great!! The owners of this house (not Evolve) were wonderful! They were not informed by Evolve that they had guests checking in their home. This was their first time I believe using the new management company. It took hours to get a check in code because of that. Once I was able to get in touch with actual owner of property everything went smooth! The owner went above and beyond to accommodate us when our child got sick while there. I will 100% stay at this Great Lake house again! The furniture was top notch!! The views were spectacular! Everything about property and owners were wonderful! I would just never book with an Evolve managed property again. It took them over 24 hours to ever respond back to me! If I had not had owners direct number we would have been stranded!

Beautiful location with easy access to boat rentals. Private dock was excellent asset to have for docking rental and fishing off. House is 110% NOT handicap accessible. Stairs are required to get to all bedrooms and hill to dock is much too steep to bring wheelchair down. Would have appreciated extra blankets for chilly nights and large dining table.

This was a beautiful waterfront home. The open floor plan was perfect for our three generational group. The basement TV area was very comfortable and gave us more to spread out. Beds were comfortable and even had a twin trundle bed in the basement the listing didn’t show. This was perfect for the 8 year old. There were so many nice touches like fire wood and marshmallow roasting sticks, snack packs on counter when we arrived, books and games for the entire family. We used the corn hole boards and the water pad as well. The private dock accommodated our two boats. I would definitely recommend this property. Jason was a great host. Hope to stay here again.

great location for large family gathering. large area and rooms down stairs for the kids and the adults stay upstairs. Great communication and able to work with you we had some request for something and she handled them great. Perfect location

The stay was great. We had a "full house" of guests . No complaints by anyone. The cabin was clean with nice bed linens and pillows. The only complaint I have is the comfort of the couch bed, the bars are very uncomfortable. There were no complaints about the beds, in which 5 others said they were comfortable. The view was great! We were guests during the 4th of July Holiday. The fireworks were amazing and never ending it seemed. The next morning was peaceful and serene! The view from the balcony was beautiful! A good time was had by all. Any inquiries we had were promptly answered or provided on website. We would come and stay again! 😁 All associated with Moon River Marina were very nice and helpful as well!

Everything you need for a lake vaca is right here. The home was spotless, spacious, comfy, cozy and fully functional. Plates, cookware, extra blankets, pillows, towels, toiletries, it's all here. Especially loved that we could bring our 2 dogs with us as its set up for dogs. The kayaks are a plus. We rented a pontoon for tubing and fishing and could dock it right there which was convenient.Rented jet skiis another day. The lakes are huge and so many spots to explore like the beach, only accessible by water, and the cliff cove where my 15yr teenage son was so excited to jump off (yikes!) Loved the propane firepit at night in the bird cage chairs. Beautiful indigo colored night sky. Grocery and stores are a quick 15 min drive away for everything you'd need. Kelley was amazing to work with, helped us with booking and dates and very quick to respond. She was there for us, gave so many great recos, yes we did eat at The Oasis SW Grill and as you said it did not disappoint. Highly reco! TY!

What an amazing little treasure we stumbled on to be able to rent this adorable lake house for the wk. The living room windows poured out a view of the lake and trees to make you feel like you never even had to leave the indoors to be outside. Looking out the windows made me feel like I was looking out of a tree house, and because the view from the windows, let you mingle from up high, you also got the pleasure to observe many different birds, accompanied by their beautiful singing. The house was lovely decorated inspiring one’s own imagination at home, The screened in porch on the side was amazing , loved drinking my coffee here right before dawn or dusk . The deck down below offered lots of room to spread out. Our son enjoyed all the wildlife, he especially loved all the frogs, turtles , and snails he found. Ron and Kathy were gems as hosts, definitely went out of there way to make you feel welcomed. Thanks again

This is a very affordable house considering all the amenities. Perfect for that fisherman in your life. My husband could walk to the back dock and throw in a pole, or troll around the lake in his own boat. A very convenient dock nearby. While he fished I enjoyed a Netflix binge and cooked in the kitchen.

Wow. This place was absolutely beautiful! It was definitely amazing it! We loved this place so much it felt just like home and it was very peaceful! The dock was so fun to fish off of, lots of room on the dock as well so bonus in my book! We’ve caught lots of fish so fishing definitely wasn’t a problem, we caught 3 huge catfish within one hour! Everything was nicely cleaned, the instructions on everything were very easy to understand! The hot tub was definitely my favorite part! We will definitely be recommending/revisiting!

A great place to get away! Was so peaceful and relaxing! A wonderful way to get away from everyday stresses. Got some of the best sleep of my life as well. The scenery was breathtaking!

We had another great stay, this place is so very beautiful and peaceful! We love to come and just relax and unwind. The kitchen was newly renovated and looks fantastic! Hope to come again!

The pictures give an accurate representation of what the unit and surrounding property looks like. Pictures can only do so much, though. What I would like to add is that everything was squeaky clean, that the floors look brand new and the walls were freshly painted in a serene color. Also, the beds were very comfortable and the bed linens were soft and felt luxurious. I communicated with Brandi prior to checking in and she was extremely responsive and a friendly person. I would stay here again if I were in the area.

We were attending an event up the road, and the location of Tony's cabins could not be beat! The cabins are exactly as described - rustic-style fishing cabins - so if you need anything 'extra' be sure to bring it along with you. We had a great stay, the cabins were quiet and comfortable, and definitely car camping like some of the other event attendees opted for! :)

The rental was on a great location on the lake. The property was just as described. The home was clean and the amenities were perfect for a quiet lake getaway. The team was incredibly responsive and helped us with securing a boat rental for our trip. We would love to go back.

We had a truly wonderful stay at the Lake House in Cadiz, KY on Lake Barkley! The view was absolutely stunning—waking up to the lake each morning was such a treat. The location couldn't have been better, tucked away just enough to feel peaceful and private, yet close to everything we needed, including a nearby marina where we rented a pontoon boat. The property has a boat dock allowing us to dock the rental right there. The house itself is spacious, beautifully maintained, and had all the amenities we could ask for. It easily accommodated our large family, with plenty of room for those staying overnight and those just visiting for the day. Whether we were enjoying games inside, grilling on the deck, or relaxing outdoors with the lake in view, there was something for everyone. The hosts were fantastic—welcoming, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and memorable. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaw

Beautiful place to get away. Cabin has everything you need! Literally walk out of the back door and step out on to the lake. Kayaking and fishing was a blast! Hot tub after a long day on the lake was amazing! Can’t wait to come back!

Cabin was nice. 3 bedrooms was just what we needed. Only wish the beds were a bit bigger. Views were amazing. Space was clean. We had a great time
