This space is located in the lower level of a commercial office building that has recently been re-purposed as a guest friendly temp-stay unit with kitchenette. No need to worry when storms rumble through. Don't miss staying in "The Bunker" The safest place to stay.

-- Located on Commercial St. -- Cross street from ESU campus (Library) -- Private room entrance and locks. -- Short walk ( 1 minutes ) to breakfast shop or full service restaurant. ***** This is a beautiful and comfortable unit as long as you don’t mind about the stairs. This unit is at the second floor. To get access to the room, you need to go through a long stairway. Ideally not recommended for anybody with super heavy luggage. We do not have elevator. An excellent place for gravel cycling enthusiasts, or anyone simply wanting to stay in a more peaceful country location.

Right off Kansas scenic byway 56 in the Flint hills. Bring your tent, rv, or camper. You will be the only one there. This is a dry camp site 'no facilities'. On bluff creek which is mostly rocky, float on a raft or put your chairs in the water, there is a deep swimming hole '12 foot' deep, fishing allowed, there are Bass, Catfish, Gar, have campfires, close to historic Council Grove. Campsite is on the site of a former Atlas E missile silo well houses.
