Need a quiet place to unwind and relax? No other houses are in sight of the River Art Cabin (RAC). Enjoy relaxing days away from crowds. Our farm is 600 acres of oaks, dogwoods, pines and wildflowers surrounded by the Bankhead National Forest! Fishing or exploring the incredible canyons of the Sipsey Wilderness. Want a night with no street lights for perfect stargazing? If the 2 bedroom RAC is not enough space, we have a smaller Bungalow a couple hundred yards behind RAC. Ask me about it.

Our cozy cabin is a tiny house with all the comforts . We have WiFi, satellite TV, a bedroom, 1bed plus “* a sleeping loft with a full size sleeping pad, bathroom, and full kitchen minus oven. It’s one of 4 cabins . It is located on our gated and fenced-in, small hobby farm between Haleyville and Bear Creek, Alabama. Your space also includes your own private pavilion area with grill, fire pit, peace and quiet, and the ability to see many farm animals. “* ladder for loft upon request only.”

Open parking pad for 1 vehicle, space for extra. Quiet neighborhood with minimal traffic. Perfect for mature guests with lots of amenities provided!

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Freshly painted, newly renovated, and within walking distance to restaurants and shopping! Update as of 04/2026: While I do accept pets, moving forward we can only house hypoallergenic dogs. Due to allergies, extreme shedding and cats destroying the furniture, we have decided to scale back on the dogs we allow.

The suite is cozy, comfortable, well equipped with TV, DVD player for rainy days. The views are spectacular and there is nothing like the sunset viewed as you enjoy peace and quiet around the fire pit. I have recently obtained high speed internet making it possible to enjoy this quiet, beautiful environment while “working from home”.
