Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lustrafjorden

The home is a 20 minute drive from Vik, where you can get groceries and restaurants, but it's a beautiful drive so we didn't mind it at all. We sat and watched the sky change over the fjord every morning.

Beautiful modern house with an amazing view. We were lucky to have some very good weather and so we made use of the outdoor area which was well equipped with furniture and barbecue equipment. The house was very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay at Siv's house and would definitely stay there again. The views across the fjord were stunning and the peace and privacy were marvellous. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. It is a great area to explore. We went across as foot passengers on the small car ferry from the village of Solvorn to Urnes to visit the UNESCO Urnes Stavchurch, went on a walk up to Jostedalsbreen Glacier, and there are some fantastic mountain hikes close by.

Definetely recommend if you are looking for a peaceful and immersive experience into the Norwegian culture and fjords, outside touristic areas. The house is lovely and Guro welcomed us very kindly. Kitchen is well equipped and the living room is big. Preferably stay at least 2 or 3 nights to enjoy the place.

We loved the house and the surroundings. House is historic, very clean and has all you need for modern life with kids. We felt really safe there. Per Wilhelm was super quick to answer and communicated with me before our trip. Ingunn showed us the place and was very nice and helpful. We recommend this house and will definitely come back :)

The accommodation was very tastefully decorated in a modern Scandinavian style. There was nothing missing. In the large swivel chairs by the living room window, you could lounge around all day and enjoy the fantastic view of the fjord and mountains. We felt very comfortable.

The house was a bit hard to find because the exact address was not provided. In summer you can probably recognize the house very well, but in winter it is very difficult to find the house. The roads are cleared in winter, but not regularly. A car with all-wheel drive and winter tires is very important. The house is in a very nice and quiet location. However, it is very remote and the road to the village is one-lane and full of snow and ice, so be careful. The decor was very cozy. There is a fireplace for heating and underfloor heating. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped. The bathroom is also very good. For the washing machine, however, you need help from the host, as it is a very old model and difficult to use. The house was very clean and towels were available. The garbage cans are not located in front of the house, but at the exit to the street.

We enjoyed our stay in this adorable cabin. The surrounding nature is beautiful and calm and the cabin has everything needed to make the stay cozy and comfortable.

This property was by FAR the most amazing Airbnb I have ever stayed at! The views were breath taking. The house had every single thing you need and more. The host went out of his way to make sure we had the best experience possible. If you are seeing this post you MUST take this opportunity to stay here. We rented the boat for a very reasonable price and it enhanced our experience ten fold. Host is flexible and extremely responsive at all times of the day. Loved every second we had here and if I ever come back to Norway I will definitely be staying here again.

Great Host and Incredible Views. The house is a neat old traditional home with most modern amenities. I wish there was a manual for some clarity on a few issues. With that said the host is so good to respond, you can ask anything get a prompt reply. There were 4 of us and I don’t think I want to take too many more with just the one bathroom. The house is close enough to town for groceries, but far enough away to not be in town. You have to haul off your own garbage however, and it’s kind of a pain as you feel like a low key criminal finding a proper place to put it. Cozy front room with a little fireplace for rainy days. Such a great location, I really loved my time there.

We spent an unforgettable time in the cottage in Tyinkrysset – this place exceeded our expectations! The cottage was cozy, perfectly equipped and perfectly suited to the mountain climate. The silence, fresh air and beautiful views meant that we could really relax and recharge our batteries. The location is sensational – in the heart of the mountains, with direct access to hiking trails and ski slopes. Every day we could choose from a variety of activities: hiking, cycling, walking along the lake or simply relaxing on the terrace with a cup of coffee and a view of the peaks. Small cabin in an exceptional setting, with a view of a Norwegian glacier and at the foot of a river. We were two couples of friends, and the cabin was quite suitable! A lot of warmth seems to have been put into the decoration of this hut, a very cozy place to shelter from the wind! All the necessary equipment is available and we invite you to follow Dag Einar's excellent advice to discover the surroundings, including the waterfalls a short hour's walk away.
