Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lustrafjorden

Four of us stayed at this lovely house during our vacation in Norway. We chose Sogndal because it was a nice midpoint for several places we wanted to visit (Flam, Laerdal, Boyabreen and Loen). The area is unbelievably gorgeous and Sogndal is a nice town that has all the amenities you might want (restaurants, gas, groceries, etc.) vs. some of the smaller towns in the area. Eirik's house was lovely. The best part was the gorgeous view. The house is well-maintained, clean, and cozy. Eirik was always very responsive to any questions I had both before and during our stay. I would definitely recommend this property!

We had such a lovely stay at Bruvoll Feriehus - the home is very cosy with all the amenities for a relaxing, peaceful stay in this beautiful area of Norway. We found the home clean and comfortable. Annike was always friendly and quick to respond to our questions. Check in and out were both easy with clear instructions.

Kristine und die ganze Familie Haugen inklusive Hund Alma sind sehr nette Gastgeber. Wir haben uns in dem schönen Haus sehr wohlgefühlt. Da wir schönes Wetter hatten, konnten wir draußen grillen. Das leckere Fleisch haben wir direkt von Kristine und Odd aus derem lokalen Betrieb gekauft. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundlichkeit! Die Unterkunft ist absolut empfehlenswert!

Maison de campagne d’époque très propre à l’intérieur et bien équipée. Le site est bien et très charmant avec une vue sur les montagnes enneigées et le bruit de l’eau qui s’écoule en cascade. Jannicke est une hôte très accueillante et toujours disponible. Elle est généreuse, elle partage ses connaissances et ses œufs qui sont délicieux. Nous avons aussi fait la connaissance de son père. Ce dernier est aussi très accueillant et a plein d’histoires intéressantes à raconter. Merci Jannicke d’avoir agrémenté notre séjour.

Definetely recommend if you are looking for a peaceful and immersive experience into the Norwegian culture and fjords, outside touristic areas. The house is lovely and Guro welcomed us very kindly. Kitchen is well equipped and the living room is big. Preferably stay at least 2 or 3 nights to enjoy the place.

Aurland Fjordhutter is simply magical! Tord met us on arrival, showed us around… we were blown away by the view… it’s as if you have the fjord all to yourself! We weren’t brave enough to dip into the fjord but there’s your own private ladder off the deck into the fjord… As far as the accom itself, it was comfortable, clean, practical and well equipped. The upstairs private and sheltered veranda was the perfect location to watch the sun go down.. We were so glad to have stayed in Aurland vs Flåm (we had a car). To escape the hive of tourists (yes noted - we are too!) to this slice of paradise… so added to our time here! Highly recommend

We loved staying at Hans’ place! The cottage is charming, cozy, and peaceful. The location is serene and private, but just a short drive to the town. We had one small issue, which Hans resolved right away. Overall, great stay! Hope to visit again 😊

Do. Not. Hesitate. To stay at Ann Iren’s immaculate 1865 cottage right on the fjord! She is a gracious, attentive host, and I now use a word to describe the cottage that I haven’t uttered in many years: charming! We spent four nights touring around the area and simply relaxing. The cottage’s location and ambiance is perfect for both. Many thanks, Ann Iren!!

This is a perfect location to have as a base as you travel through the Fjords. We had a car making it easy to get around. Nearest town is 10 mins and kitchen had everything you needed to make light meals. Sigrid was kind and we enjoyed our stay.

Wij waren hier een maand met onze twee kinderen van 4 en 2 jaar. Alles was fantastisch. Het huis, de omgeving met eindeloze en toegankelijke wandelmogelijkheden en alle tips en adviezen die we kregen van Sindre en Kari. De enige fout die wij maakten is dat we niet langer hebben geboekt 😅

Because of an unexpected change in the schedule of the boat from Bergen to Balestrand, I had to arrive around noon whereas the apartment wasn't supposed to be available until 5 pm. The hosts were very gracious and had the place ready hours ahead of schedule, which I greatly appreciate.

Eine tolle Unterkunft in der nichts fehlt! Die Ausstattung war super. Sehr sauber und gut riechend. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Über die Einladung zum Abendessen haben wir uns sehr gefreut 😊. Es hat wunderbar geschmeckt. Herzlichen Dank und liebe Grüße 🤗

A great flat with fantastic views over Sogndal and the fjord. There is a view point facing in the other direction just up the hill behind the house. Everywhere is very reachable on foot although it's a bit of a climb from the town centre. Marte was a very helpful and responsive host.

This is a wonderful apartment with stunning views of the mountains and fjord. The location is excellent, right in town, close to amenities, yet very quiet. Kai was promptly responsive when we had a few questions and gave clear instructions. This was definitely one of our favorite places in the world to stay!

We had an Wonderful stay at Torill's place! If you have a car, it's a perfect location--beautiful view and peaceful area away from the tourist crowds in Flam, but close enough to get to the activities very easily... The unit is plenty large with tons of nice touches from Torill to make us feel right at home, and she was very informative, helpful, and thoughtful... We had a very nice meal at the hotel just a short walk up the street (somewhat expensive), and the bakery in town is Awesome! The place is clean, the bed very comfortable, and great water pressure in the shower, which was easy to regulate (although the shower enclosure ties for the smallest we've ever experienced)... Highly recommend booking here if wanting to visit this spectacular area!

This was an absolutely beautiful place to stay. It was close to many wonderful places to see and experience. It’s hard to describe the natural beauty looking out in every direction.

We verbleven een nacht bij Jostein, dat was heerlijk. De kamers zijn groot en comfortabel. Heerlijk ben, nette badkamers. De gezamenlijke ruimte is van alle gemakken voorzien. Het uitzicht was ook hier geweldig en boven alles was Jostein een zeer fijne en gezellige host. Ik zou zo weer overnachten hier!

Stunning location right at the edge of the bay with beautiful views of the sea on one side and steep mountain slopes on the other. Its a nice quiet village with lovely plantations and fields. The house has big glass windows to enjoy the exceptional views. The place was spotlessly clean. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had all the utencils, crockery and all the required kitchen gadgets. There was enough place for the 8 of us to not feel crowded inside. There was enough place to park our 2 vehicles. Every single detail was thought through. The linen and towels were clean. Absolutely nothing I could think of that was missing or not up to the mark. 10/10 for me.

Jostein and his family are really really nice people and always want to help. As religious people they really take charity as duty and help wherever it's needed. The family invited me twice for dinner and Jostein gave me several times a lift to see the area or to reach the accommodation. I can just recommend to stay here! Really nice people and we had a lot of nice and open conversations. Keep up the nice work and if I can I will come back! Best regards, David

Dette er vårt andre år på Villa Fjellheim i forbindelse med vår årlige skitur. Villaen er perfekt for både store og mindre reisefølger, og er utstyrt med gode praktiske løsninger fra ende til annen. Her er det lett å bo! Villaen ligger idyllisk til med utsikt over Nigardsbreen, og har en sjarmerende atmosfære til avslapning og hygge etter aktive dager i fjellet. Beliggenheten gir også det beste utgangspunktet for aktive dager med skiløyper, turstier og fjelltopper rett utenfor døren! Vertskapet er ryddig og hyggelige, og vi gleder oss allerede til å bo på Villa Fjellheim igjen! 5/5

Jostein is a kind person and was ready to help us for anything. Our room was nice and the house in which it is placed is a lovely space. Big common kitchen and comfortable furnitures. Recommended

Nous avons réservé le logement 8 minutes avant d’arriver et Jostein s’est montré super réactif. Il a était présent rapidement pour nous accueillir et était très agréable. Le logement est confortable, les équipements accessibles et impeccables. Nous ne sommes restés qu’une nuit mais c’était juste parfait. Vous pouvez y allez les yeux fermés !

Une grande maison avec une vue magnifique, bonne qualité prix. C’est calme ici et très pratique ! Je recommande fortement !
