We loved our time at the cabin had a lovely relaxing time and the hottub was a highlight! We had no problems and the house was very well equipped especially for anyone staying longer. We loved the waffle machine too.

A great place to stay and an amazing host. The area is fantastic and the location right on the ski slope was very pleasant. I can imagine coming back again.

We had a lovely stay! Absolutely stunning location right on the fjord with beautiful views both inside and outside the cabin. The area was nice and quiet with lots of sheep and apple orchards around, but also convenient to other attractions and shopping. Highly recommend staying here!

We spent an unforgettable time in the cottage in Tyinkrysset – this place exceeded our expectations! The cottage was cozy, perfectly equipped and perfectly suited to the mountain climate. The silence, fresh air and beautiful views meant that we could really relax and recharge our batteries. The location is sensational – in the heart of the mountains, with direct access to hiking trails and ski slopes. Every day we could choose from a variety of activities: hiking, cycling, walking along the lake or simply relaxing on the terrace with a cup of coffee and a view of the peaks. Do yourself a favor, stop looking at other places and book this cabin. This was probably the best valued B&B I've ever stayed in. The cabin is wonderful and the host was great with communication but the reason you come is the hot tub with one of the most beautiful views in Norway. I honestly don't think I'll ever find a better hot tub due to that view. Per undersells this place which is great for us, hopefully it stays this way so we can continue to afford coming. My wife and I got to have really a perfect ending to our month long tour of northern Europe due to this B&B. Thanks again Per! Last note: the driveway is steep and I do suggest a 4WD vehicle to make you feel more comfortable going up and down however Per said other vehicles have done it without a problem.

The house was a bit hard to find because the exact address was not provided. In summer you can probably recognize the house very well, but in winter it is very difficult to find the house. The roads are cleared in winter, but not regularly. A car with all-wheel drive and winter tires is very important. The house is in a very nice and quiet location. However, it is very remote and the road to the village is one-lane and full of snow and ice, so be careful. The decor was very cozy. There is a fireplace for heating and underfloor heating. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped. The bathroom is also very good. For the washing machine, however, you need help from the host, as it is a very old model and difficult to use. The house was very clean and towels were available. The garbage cans are not located in front of the house, but at the exit to the street.

This property was by FAR the most amazing Airbnb I have ever stayed at! The views were breath taking. The house had every single thing you need and more. The host went out of his way to make sure we had the best experience possible. If you are seeing this post you MUST take this opportunity to stay here. We rented the boat for a very reasonable price and it enhanced our experience ten fold. Host is flexible and extremely responsive at all times of the day. Loved every second we had here and if I ever come back to Norway I will definitely be staying here again.

Staying right on a fjord was amazing. The views from the house were spectacular. Ferries available to any island in area. I wish I had stayed for a month!

The cabin is wonderful, we felt right at home. Super cozy and well thought through. The perfect escape from the stressful life - peaceful and quiet, beautiful hikes right outside the door. Torstein is am exceptional host, friendly, communicative, super helpful and kind. One of our favorite stays ever, would come back anytime.

A cottage in a beautiful area by the lake. The cottage is well-equipped and spacious – three bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom with a toilet, a utility room with a washing machine and a terrace. An additional advantage was the possibility of free use of the boat. The neighborhood is quiet and picturesque. Good communication with the owner. Recommended.

By far the best airbnb I have ever Stayed in. ‏The host was exceptional meet, greet and gave brief about everything. ‏The home is satiated on the lake, got all what you need. The kichen is fully equipped. The bathroom got underfloor heating. The living room has an amzing view of the mountains and the lake. ‏We loved grilling outside peaceful and wonderful views.

The cabin Grubla is fantastically beautiful in Bøverdalen, by the lake between the mountains. Here we stayed a few days and had amazing summit tours nearby. The cabin is very cozy with great amenities and a nice fire. The possibility of sitting outside, or lying in the hammock is great.

Accommodation in a unique location with fantastic views of mountains and fjord

It was overall great it was a beautifull view, the communication was good. There is a hike from the house going up the mountain.

I can't say enough about this wonderful place! The pictures are lovely, but pictures just can't capture how beautiful this place is. This was our first trip to Norway and staying in this place was a real highlight. While in Balestrand, we also rented bikes (highly recommended). Terrific host; very communicative and helpful!

We had taken 10 days for the house and especially the seclusion. It was beautiful, fully matched the photos, and we felt well taken care of. The cabin is authentic, yet fully functional and cozy. The two ovens heat well (which is also necessary in summer, we had 3 degrees at night, 8 degrees during the day), the large refrigerator had electricity all the time, even if there were rainy days. There was no boredom, we were too busy looking, marveling and photographing. A stark contrast to our everyday life in the (still quite small) big city. Thanks to Ragna for the tips and assistance. It was a great time!
