House holiday rentals in Luray

Great property. Owners left great instructions, and the house was private. The deer were an added bonus with the hot tub. Will be back for the winter. 5 Stars

The Airbnb advertisement for the house does not adequately convey how nice this place actually is! Most of the items in the house: furniture, appliances, cookware, grill, bedding, towels, etc. are of high quality and excellent condition. The interior of the house is open, spacious and beautiful. It has high ceilings in most rooms, and a vaulted ceiling over the kitchen, dining room, family room, living room, and foyer. Barbara and Mike gave our girls a tour of the sheep farm and let them meet their dog. They were also responsive quick to take action whenever we had issues (like tripping a circuit breaker and running out of propane). For an additional charge of $75, they warmed up the pool for me twice because I am not a fan of water temps in the low 80s. The location is beautiful and secluded, but you can get to Shenandoah hiking trails in 20-30 minutes or Walmart/Safeway in 15 minutes. We loved our time here and would definitely stay at Peacefield again.

We had an incredibly relaxing, peaceful, quiet getaway. The house is more than enough space for 2 people, well stocked kitchen, amazing scenery. Beautiful Mountain View’s, screened in porch, super serene.

I needed a place that my family, from out of state, could stay while attending a graduation. The house was perfect! I told Bob what I wanted to do and he was encouraging and helpful. He made sure we had propane for grilling and answered all my questions. He was very prompt when I reached out to him. We had an amazing time. I would stay there again.

This place was perfect ! Everything you could possibly need was available to us . The hot tub and the fire pits were amazing. The view was incredible. There was so much to do very close to the house! Potato chip tasting , wineries , cave tour, and a really cool parade float museum! We also truly enjoyed the space , lots of room to relax and read a book, play ball outside , fish in the river… great place , highly recommend!

My husband, brother, and two of our friends spent the weekend at Brad’s house and we had a lovely time. It was extremely conducive to relaxing. We cooked our meals there. The kitchen was very clean and we had found everything we needed for our meals. We were able to use lies the front porch. The pool was closed, but it looked very nice. Brad is an amazing host. He will answer your questions quickly. I would highly recommend staying at Brad’s place to anyone.

My family was thrilled with their peaceful retreat in the mountains. Brenda made my mother’s birthday an enjoyable and unforgettable weekend. She made sure to hang a birthday banner for her, provided clear and thorough instructions on how to use all the amenities and the house was well-equiped with everything that a family needs. My family and I will definitely be coming back. The scenery is beautiful, quiet and spacious. We are eternally grateful for an amazing experience and happy to have spent some time away from the busy and loud city. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay! It was a great starting point for exploring Shenandoah Park. The front porch swings, hot tub and fire pit were all hits, as was the small game room for the kids. The kitchen was well equipped, and we had plenty of sheets and towels. It was great for our group of 8.

Great riverfront cabin! Waterfront was absolutely what I was looking for, with a good hot tub view. Great host and the house has all the amenities you need. Close to town and easy road access. Only down side was not having full privacy due to the house next door being occupied. Other than that it was amazing! 10/10 spot!

We had a great stay at this Airbnb in Luray! The home was very well stocked with everything we needed, which made our trip easy and comfortable. It’s conveniently located just a short drive from downtown Luray, and we especially loved that there was a rafting vendor less than a mile away, it was one of the highlights of our trip. Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at OverlookLoft was amazing. Host James answered our many questions, and made us feel right at home. The loft is about 20minutes from Shenandoah national park, and within 60minutes of 10 different hikes along Skyline Drive. The loft has upgraded amenities, including remote control hvac, and a new outdoor propane grill. You’ll find comfy outdoor seating on the refinished deck. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, spices and more. Making a home cooked meal was easy and convenient. The onsite water supply was fresh, clean and delicious, I strongly recommend giving the tap a try. Inside you’ll find a thoughtful guidebook, loaded with numerous pages of local hotspots and town history. The local town of Elkton was filled with super friendly folks. As was nearby Harrisonburg. Glad we had our 4x4 with us, as some parts of the road and driveway were steep.

The home was lovely. We stayed for just one night, and wish we had longer. Our young kids loved the fire pit and we really appreciated the s’mores kit waiting for us upon arrival. The visiting ducks, cats, and turtle provided very sweet entertainment for our kids! We were able to check in early which was very kind. Everything was well stocked and extremely clean. We hope to visit again in the future!

My family and I was there for a wedding that was 10 minutes away! We were so happy with everything this house had to offer. From the toys for the kids to the full kitchen with everything. They had it covered with coffee makers and a rice cooker! Loved they have thought of everything. We felt like there was no stone unturned to all that this place had to offer! We are so thankful that we got to stay in such a beautiful and thoughtful place!

This is one of those times when the home exceeds expectations and is much nicer than the photos (which are also amazing). We were immediately impressed upon entry. The huge picture window with the view of the bird feeder crowded with an array of birds and a few very fat squirrels had us walking right over to watch. The home was immaculate! The beds were all super comfy and the ambiance that greeted us made us feel immediately welcomed. There were fresh flowers in the living room and the house was impressively appointed with everything we could possibly need. After a day of hiking, we were all really excited to come back and chill in the hot tub and make a fire. I do believe this is the first time I have been excited to go back and just hang out at our airbnb, and I have stayed at quite a few really nice locations. My only suggestion would be getting a squirrel cone for that bird feeder to slow them down...they were shoveling the seed out of there like crazy and going to town on it. lol

We loved our stay. The location is perfect, with beautiful views and private. It was about 6 minutes to the caverns and about 10 to the downtown area. The grill, fire and hot tub were fantastic. It's very clean and has what you need.

Absolutely spectacular views from this cabin that has it all! Owners have de prayed tastefully and provided so many recreational opportunities—from relaxing on the deck to games/puzzles to multiple TVs, cornhole, fire pit, to hot tub and most fun for us: ping pong and foosball! This home truly feels like your own personal cabin in a private, high elevation view with the GW National Forest as your backyard and the Shenandoah Valley as your front yard! The host was wonderful and provided treats for us and a warm welcome sign. Loved it all!

We stayed for 5 nights as a getaway from DC - 3 adults, 1 infant, and a dog. Fantastic views (the full moon is gorgeous from here and the valley and forest below is lush), great house, well placed to explore the surrounding area (caverns, hiking, wineries, etc). They had a pack n play which we put our own bassinet on for the baby. Highly recommend!

It is a beautiful home! We celebrated our son’s engagement and had a wonderful time! Very comfortably fit 14 people and 1 dog! The place was perfect minus not as clean as we would like but Shabina was very quick to respond and sent cleaners out right away to take care of! She also had doughnuts delivered the next morning as an apology! Would definitely stay again.

overall a great place to stay. The house was as described and a nice home base to hike in Shenandoah or visit luray caverns. There's even a trail up behind the house along the power lines that was mostly uphill, but still an easy hike and our pups and kids loved it. Definitely muddy, but we didn't mind. And the sound of the creek was incredibly peaceful. Daniel was a great host: always easy to reach and attentive. we would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely and peaceful stay. In town for a family funeral and it was the perfect getaway location to rest and relax amongst everything. Heather was very kind and understanding of the situation. The home was excellent and very relaxing.

Me and my friends had an excellent trip at Adriano & Yamel’s! We loved the space the house offered us to spread out but still enjoy each other’s company. Hot tub was a huge plus!
