Holiday rentals with a patio in Lummi Island

It was a wonderful stay in your home. We enjoyed sitting on your balcony looking out at Birch Bay and watching the birds, the squirrels, the people and we even were able to see whales in the distance. Thank you for a lovely weekend.

Linda and Jay's place was outstanding! The special touches and attention to detail made us feel right at home. It's obvious that Linda and Jay put alot of care into making their place as comfortable and inviting as possible for their guest! The gardens are absolutely beautiful! The apartment is pristine and super nice!! Such a beautiful place all around! Enjoyed our stay very much!! Loved the homemade bread! Delicious! We recommend staying here one hundred percent!!

This was my second time at Jenny & Angelo’s and I am very grateful to have had such a great place to stay. The suite is extremely clean and had everything I needed to be comfortable and safe during my 5 weeks there. It’s quiet, very bright and spacious. The beds were really comfortable (I slept in each since I was there twice lol). The kitchen had all the necessary small appliances and cookware. Washer and dryer worked well. Portable heaters & AC were provided as it doesn’t get the full heat from the main house. The patio with full afternoon sun is a lovely bonus. It really felt like home. It has its own parking spot right out front (with additional on the street). The neighbourhood is really nice and felt safe. Great location next to the freeway and only a 5 minute drive to the hospital. Can’t rave this place enough if you want somewhere outside of the main busy city area!

We had a wonderful stay at Lauren’s condo! It was within walking distance to everything in Fairhaven, and a short car ride to other Bellingham attractions. It was quiet, and the neighborhood felt safe with super friendly people. It was a great price, especially when compared to nearby hotels that didn’t have all the amenities the condo had. We would definitely stay there again!

Nancy’s home was so comfy and cozy for our family. Lots of space for everyone and extra blankets to snuggle in. We definitely stay in this home again. Thanks for the great weekend!

My friend and I came for a weekend getaway and it was a dream! The place is better than the pictures and we absolutely loved the gorgeous design and setup of the home. Ferndale isn't a "bumping" town but we spent our weekend antique shopping, drinking wine in the beautiful yard and then made our way to Bellingham and mount Vernon for food and coffee when we wanted to go out. Highly recommend giving this place a visit!!!

First, we really loved the place and the views cannot be beat. It is quiet, truly peaceful, and has amazing views of the Sound and Mt. Baker. The grounds are immaculate and the house is very nicely decorated. I have to say, it is probably the most well stocked kitchen for dishes, pans, spices, teas, and utensils. We loved the serenity of Lummi Island and even got a couple of nice bike rides in. One item to mention though, there is a third bedroom but it requires going through one of the other bedrooms to get to it so its not very private. This worked great for us as we used the room for our infant daughter but 3 couples would find this awkward. It was not clear on the listing so I figured it needed a mention. Gudrun was very responsive, especially when the Wifi went out for a bit (island maintenance) and he kept us updated. Not a lot of attractions on the island but we were vacationing with an infant so just hanging out on the grounds and visiting with family was good enough.

I can’t say enough about Judy’s cottage! Peaceful, quiet, comfortable, private, with all the modern conveniences. The layout and materials used in the cottage are top notch, there was nothing lacking. The bed was very comfortable and the walk-in shower was a dream. I enjoyed sitting on the little back patio and wanted to try sitting at the cute little table in front, but didn’t get a chance. The calm little street was quiet for walking with friendly neighbors. Judy and Jeff made me feel welcome and I knew they were there if needed, but the cottage is very private. I just loved staying here, it truly was a home away from home!

I loved my stay here. It was beautiful. We were three doors down from our friends nice convenient walkable to the beaches to shops. Host was very sweet and got us some batteries and laundry detergent, which she did not have to do.

We loved this place! We used it as an adjunct cabin for some of our party to stay. The beachfront location and views are just beautiful and so special. We will be back to spend more time by the fire, cooking great meals, and hanging outside. Thank you Ashley & Brittany!

I spent 4 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The greenhouse is a pleasant and peaceful space to relax. You can hear the train as it crosses multiple times per day, ear plugs helped for sleeping but they also have an ambient noise machine. Nice shower, kitchen area, and other amenities. Ross and Sylvia's put a lot of work into landscaping and were very friendly. I went to Deception Pass (hiking and paddleboarding), Mr T's cafe, Calico bakery, Whidbey Island bagels, and the food co-op and would recommend any of them.

Beautiful beach home! So well appointed with everything you need and very clean. The views from the deck and quiet beach below cannot be beat.

Well furnished house in a beautiful setting. Access to the dock and lake makes this a great vacation choice. Communication with owner was great. Owner is very respectful of guest privacy.

Peaceful location on Birch Bay. Quiet community, pleasant walks available. We weren’t on vacation so didn’t have an opportunity to see many of the local sights but Teri was very communicative and friendly. Likely an excellent location for a summer getaway.

Beautiful home with awesome view on both floors. Easy access to the beach, and it's a quite private place. Will come back again.

This condo is beautifully decorated with a seaside decor. I enjoyed the little garden with flowers next to the patio while looking beyond at the bay. The kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, pots and pans, glasses, etc. I shopped at The Market in Birch Bay Square and cooked most of the time. We did go up the Blaine to Jack Niemann’s Black Forest Steak House for dinner one evening, and it was delicious. There is a wonderful walkway all along the bay just across the street from the condo. We had a very relaxing stay in a beautiful place.

This Airbnb was exactly how it looked if not Better in person. I Appreciate how helpful and accomodating the hosts were. Any questions we had, they were super responsive. I loved the home. It was VERY Clean. Slept like babies. Even the Kids Bunk beds had some comfortable Mattresses. 😂😍 This Home was Amazing and Especially for the price. Area is a bit Expensive but this was the PERFECT deal/bang for your buck. I would highly recommend! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HAVING US.

Kelli's place and hosting exceeded expectations. She was communicative, friendly, got clear instructions and quick responses to us, and checked in during our week stay to make sure we had what we needed. The place was super clean, warm, with several places to cozy up with our grandkids who came over for a visit; parking, entry, getting settled was easy. We could stare at the bay from the living room or the covered patio; going for beach walks was as easy as crossing the street. The comfortable bed and spacious closet suited us perfectly for our 7 night stay. It had all the kitchen accessories we needed for the week. An example of Kelli's superhosting: when we arrived, we noticed one lightbulb out in the bathroom, hardly an issue. I messaged her so she could fix it (even if she did so after we left, again, it was not a bother) - within an hour the bulb was replaced. We have stayed several places when visiting our kids in Blaine and none of them suited us as well as Kelli's place.

Had a great time at Liz’s condo! Very clean and had everything you would need. Spacious and full of natural light, we had plenty of room for four adults and two dogs. It was handy to have a green space where the (leashed) dogs could do their business right out the front door, and there is a beach and a .5 mi paved path just across the street from the condo complex. Walked to the brewery down the street (dog friendly) and could’ve walked to several restaurants in the area. We were biking in Bellingham, and that was only about a 15 minute drive as well. Thanks again!

The Inn on the Harbor was a perfect weekend getaway spot. Super clean and comfortable with great water views. Check in was made really easy and Tracey gave great directions ahead of time. Downtown Blaine is very walkable from this spot. We will be back!

It was a great place to stay close to family! Beautiful location and so much to do in the area! Most definitely will be booking again!
