House holiday rentals in Lumbarda

Villa Belpur is a lovely large, modern villa with a spectacular pool area that’s even better than the pictures. Set back from the road near Pitve, the location is beautiful. Communication with owner Tina at Tranquilladria was mostly excellent, including all sorts of very helpful local info, recommendations and bookings. We used the driver, Marko, for nights out in Hvar (book in advance) and Jelsa which worked really well, we also had a hire car which we’d recommend as there’s lots nearby but not easily walkable. We were disappointed to be told only on check-in by the local property manager that the hot tub was inoperative. That said, Tina subsequently offered compensation and even made efforts to arrange some time for us in a local spa which was very much appreciated, and overall we really enjoyed our time at Belpur and would recommend it for larger parties in particular.

We spent two beautiful and relaxing weeks in the vacation home "Piccolo Paradiso." We were warmly welcomed by Ivana on site and received a quick answer to our questions via WhatsApp. Everything was exactly as described!

We had 2 wonderful weeks at Davor's house! We and especially the children enjoyed the great pool very much. From the terrace, you have a wonderful view of the bay, which you can also reach very quickly on foot (don't forget bathing shoes - there are many sea urchins) Davors was always quick to reach for any questions and tips and was always very friendly! Highly recommended!!

Lovely Villa, beautiful outdoor space with pool and sun terrace. Lovely access to the sea via Beach with padel board and kayak. Very nice spot.

Although the house was not modern and felt a little undermaintained, it was comfortable, and the outside space, pool and the location were perfect. It was great having the free use of canoes and bike too. A free ranging tortoise family in the garden was lovely too!

The house is in an amazing location - beautiful and peaceful with direct and easy access to the sea straight from the garden. Vela luka itself is very nearby for groceries, cafes etc. Jelica herself was an amazing host - super helpful and accommodating making for a perfect holiday for us.

We had such an incredible family holiday here. It’s beautiful, the location is perfect, we hardly needed our hire car. We were so relaxed, the house was homely but not too cluttered, and so clean and well looked after. The kitchen, if you like to cook was good (sharp knives etc!). We loved the outdoor bbq. Lars was a great host, really helpful and easy to approach. Honestly, the best air bnb experience we’ve had in a long time!

Really wonderful place to stay, was as picturesque and peaceful as the photos suggest. Sea is less than 5 minutes away from the property and the pool was clean and well maintained. Inside the property had everything as listed, and even came with complimentary drinks which were appreciated. Tina was also very responsive with any queries, and the homeowner Mr Jurković came round occasionally to check on the pool. While not a problem with the house, the surrounding area is light in terms of things to do/visit, with public transport to Korcula or further not very frequent. Overall I would definitely recommend Tina's property for a stay in Vela Luka, and will certainly look to visit again in the near future myself.

Ivana was definitely the best host we've had at an Airbnb. She was extremely responsive and helpful with any request we had, be it about the apartment or generally about the location, things to do, recommendations etc. The apartment is wonderful, very spacious and feels very welcoming. Everything is as described in the listing and even surpassed our expectations. A great hot tub overlooking the nearby sea was a very relaxing way to begin and end the day! Perfect for a family of four. Nearby local beach is 300m walk, 15 minutes walk gets you to Lumbarda town and beaches with access to boat, jet ski and SUP rentals and lots of restaurants. Good Wi-Fi also meant we could do some work when needed. We loved every minute and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday. Great apartment in wonderful location (there are stairs - as in most visited places in Croatia!). Tanija met us and helped with the luggage - got us situated and was in contact with us during our visit. Quiet and spacious apartment with lovely front and back patios. Had everything we needed for a short visit to Korcula (having milk for the coffee and a couple of beers was a great bonus)! I would highly recommend Luka's apartment.

Exactly what we were hoping for. Relaxing, comfortable and private, surrounded by nature and few steps from the beautiful Adriatic. Grano was a wonderful host, warm, kind and super easy to communicate with. Thank you, Grano!

The view is outstanding, the location terrific and the hosts are wonderful. The apartment has so much space! One thing to be aware of is that the air conditioner is in the kitchen and in order to cool the bedrooms the doors must be open -- not a problem.

Glorija’s place was super clean, in a wonderful location and Glorija was very responsive over message. My partner and I accidentally locked ourselves on the patio and Glorija was there to resolve the issue in no time. Thank you for a lovely stay :)

The house and the nature around are otherworldly. The house is situated far from any civilization, and we've barely seen any neighbors during our stay, so it's perfect for people tired of the big city. But please note that you need a car in order to move around, since the house is 5 km from the nearest civilization. The house itself has everything you might need in terms of utensils and equipment, but is solar-powered, thus heavy electronics will wear the battery down fast. We were fine with 2 phones and 1 laptop, but it also depends on how sunny it gets during your stay. As to getting there, you also need to plan your trip around the ferry schedule, cause it's the main way to get from the island to the mainland. Zlatko is a great person, helped us get there, and left some treats for us. Totally recommend the experience.

Maja is a Great! Kind and helpful in every aspect, the house is located in a beautiful hill from there you can easily drive to either side of the island and discover the beautiful coves. From the ferry to the apartment will barely take you 15 minutes. My general recommendation for the restaurant in the island: make a reservation! For our family of four was not easy to get a table for dinner without a reservation.

A dream come true! My favorite Airbnb! Absolutely stunning home with a very caring and helpful Host. Damir went above and beyond to help us and surprised us with extra care. Check in was flawless with the help from our host. The house was very clean and spacious with breathtaking views. Our own private beach with clean clear waters, many peaceful shaded hidden terraces surrounded by beautiful flowers. You are able to walk to Old Town/restaurants in 10 mins! Where you can shop, eat amazing food with spectacular views, book water taxis, book excursions. This property is absolutely perfect in every way! My family and I did not want to leave. Thank you Damir for making our vacation amazing!

We spent 1 week at this beautiful place and really loved it. If you want to spend some time in quiet and peace this is one of the rare spots where you can do it- all by yourself or with a group of friends/family. The kitchen and the bbq are sufficient and the house and all the rooms are very clean and liveable. The highlight of course is the outdoor area and the private beach and the possibility to use the kayaks or SUP. Mario was a very nice host, who gave us helpful advices. What an amazing place! Peaceful, private, with a wonderful view and your own beach. We took advantage of the paddle boards and had a wonderful time. As others have said, it’s some distance from town, so you’ll want a car or be prepared to bike a lot (bikes are provided). But that also means it’s very quiet. Lots of birds and butterflies. The accommodations are compact but clean and well-appointed. More than adequate, since you won’t want to spend much time inside anyway. We also appreciated the tasty snacks left for us. Hope to visit again!

We felt like home. It was a great place very comfortable for two families. Lumbarda a nice and sleepy place, but at nights there were good folklore and other events organized on the main square of the town. Nice bay where we stayed, however it was better to walk a bit for a really good beaches. And there were a couple options (rocky or sandy). There is not much of front place at the house, so you literally step on the road when you leave the terrace, so needed to watch the cars and scooters carefully. You can start the boat or SUP right front of the house as there are small port, but for swimming there are better places a bit further down, like 2mins walk. Lumbarda is good with bike or bicycle, but to reach some places, you need to walk on the road in a curvy narrow street, that is not pedestrian-friendly, especially with kids.

We loved our stay in this beautiful location. Whilst we found the layout of the house a little strange (although I’m sure the owners have their reasons for this design) we found our time here completely relaxing. It is very easy to spend all day reading, swimming in the crystal clear waters and gazing at the stunning views. From 6am to sunset, the views are truly beautiful. We particularly liked the range of terraces, with varying degrees of shade. Cycling into the centre is a great way to get any groceries you need. Thank you for the bikes! The couple who greeted us were very kind and helpful. We would definitely recommend this house and we’d love to return one day.

Location, location, location!! Dani’s house is very basic although it does have most of the essentials, but boy the location is great! During the Summer Dani’s family is in the smaller house on site so there is usually someone on hand if you need assistance. Vrnik has been ‘discovered’ since we were last here six years ago which is either a bit sad, or great depending on your point of view (thanks Beyoncé!). The house has a small mooring if you want to hire your own boat for island hopping, but now there are regular taxi boats. (No cars in the island).

An absolutely amazing villa. The photos dont do it justice. The bedrooms are all on the ground floor, while the upper level is a huge open plan living room / kitchen. The pool in the garden is perfectly placed so that at any time of day part of it is in the sun and part in the shade, which suited our group perfectly. The balconies (yes, there are multiple) are similar. Always a shady and a sunny one. Local area is quite quiet. A 15 minute walk to the local shops, and 20-25 minutes to the nearest beaches. There are some really nice restaurants (as long as you like fish) 5-10 minutes away too. There are also a whole selection of wineries in a 30 minute radius of the villa, all of which have amazing tasting menus. Korčula town itself is a short drive or bus trip away and has all the holiday shopping and tourism you could want. Lastly, Thomas himself was incredibly helpful. A full set of info before we arrived and always very fast to answer questions Amazing place. We loved it!
