Idyllic peaceful surroundings. Lovely walks saw deer, pheasants, hawks and rabbits on our walks with the dog. Long meandering forest walk ways. Great views. If you like the great outdoors this is the ideal place for you. The opportunity to stop and watch deer graze was amazing! Accommodation was cosy, comfortable and very clean.

The Squab house

This is a wonderful little annex, hidden away in the countryside with easy access to some great walks, Marlborough, Salisbury, and everything in the area. There are several great pubs very close by. Rosie is a wonderful host, providing all the details and help I needed.

The accommodation was lovely and clean, very comfortable and homely. It was the perfect distance to Thruxton circuit which was the reason for our stay. Louise was really helpful and provided tea/coffee and milk for our arrival. We will certainly stay here again. Thanks Louise. Sarah

Pipistrelle, Tangley

Gorgeous place, with the best hosts. Bill and Delia were responsive, helpful and extremely welcoming. A very tranquil spot, with the lovely sounds of nature surrounding the place. We felt right at home, so much so our kids didn't want to leave! Thanks also for recommending some great places nearby to visit with the kids, with more time we would have gone to them all. We did however, check out Finkley Down farm and visited Stockbridge for a walk along the streams and lunch, both of which were incredible spots for the family. Thank you both for your warmth and to Teal (named after the duck, not the colour!)

Roger's Orchard ~ Glamping

Absolutely beautiful little hideaway, Lyla was an amazing host and went above and beyond to make this little over night stay so special (was a total surprise birthday treat for my husband) and she made it beautiful ❤️ Loved getting back to nature and seeing the wildlife, got slightly spooked by the dear and pheasant on my evening trip to the toilet!, but it was beautiful 🥰 I really enjoyed the outdoor shower, seemed weird to be showering while watching the birds fly around, thought at one point the pheasant was going to try and shower with me😳🤣 It felt very strange not having to flush the toilet🤣 We went to a lovely Italian restaurant in Hungerford 👌🏻 highly recommend. The smell from the roses is amazing as you walk to the shepherds hut. All in all 10/10, if your looking for somewhere very quiet and want to get in touch with your nature side then this is definitely the place to go, Thank you so much Lyla for everything, would love to return, highly recommend this place

Stunning Country House in Hampshire

KatyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We enjoyed our stay at this charming home in the heart of the English countryside! It’s just a scenic two-hour drive from London, with so many top sights—Bournemouth, Bath, Bristol, the Cotswolds, Stonehenge, Wilton House and quaint villages—all within about 90 minutes. The house itself is wonderfully spacious, with a quirky, historic layout that feels both cozy and full of character. Upstairs there are three comfortable bedrooms and a full bath; there’s an additional bathroom downstairs. The beds and couch are all incredibly comfy, and the Wi-Fi is fast—perfect for remote work. Check out at Mayfly on the river (only a 20-minute drive)—fantastic food and views! The house/water can get chilly read the house manual and coordinate with host for prompt help with adjustments.

Dolly Mixture Annex

This is a beautiful little place, very romantic comfy and cozy. It was of an excellent standard with fabulous touches and beautiful country style decor. My only complaint would be that I would have loved a floor length mirror. Thank you Alexandra and Derek
