Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lucerne District

What a wonderful and peaceful experience it was to stay at Emanuel’s greenhouse. I only wish we had booked a longer stay. His offer (and accepted) to pick organic strawberries from inside the greenhouse was much appreciated.

We really loved getting back home, it was quiet, just like the photos and much more peaceful than the tourist areas. Tricia was the best with her recommendations and adding slight personal touches to the place. It had everything you would need, and the best part it is truly a bed and breakfast, loved meeting Tricia for breakfast and learning so much. If I visit again, which I plan to I would definitely want to stay here.

For 6 of us, it is a great place to stay. You will not have an issue at all if you have your own transportation to go around, which is what we did during the 3 nights there. We cooked dinner for all three nights for 6 of us at the house and enjoyed the view. We have already missed this house now as we are in Interlaken for another 4 nights with a different style of Airbnb. After sharing our photos and experience of the house with my sisters, they are interested in booking the same house for their future trip to Europe.

Fantastic views of lake and mountains from every room, patio and balcony. Great location/easy access to all attractions in the Berner Oberland area with all the amenities needed. Highly recommend!

This bungalow is simply an absolute gem. Every detail in this house is a testament to a lot of love and style. We felt totally comfortable and welcome right away So the hot tub was already heated and ready for us. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, everything is there. Furthermore, the comfortable sofa invites you to cozy evenings and later a very comfortable bed awaits you. Fabienne is a warm host who communicates proactively and is very generous. I'm sure we'll be back!

Our stay was amazing! The views from the house were unreal, lots of space to spread out, and so much to do in the area. Wonderful location and host. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at Riad’s - easy check in, extremely clean home and a very responsive host. We really appreciated the amenities, which included a washer, dishwasher and a Dyson hairdryer among others (have to note this in particular, as many hotels have weak / inefficient hair dryers, so to have a Dyson while traveling, as at home, is a game changer). Pictures do not do the view justice - the lake and surrounding mountains make for a lovely milieu. Highly recommend & would love to return someday!

The place was beautiful, and the view from the balcony was absolutely amazing. I traveled by car, so the location was perfect for visiting Interlaken, Lucerne, and Zurich. It was a comfortable and convenient stay — highly recommended if you’re exploring the area by car!

The location was perfect for seeing the sites and located close to the water and metro station. The AB&B was very clean with simple yet thoughtful decor. There was helpful places to store your items with a storage shelf unit in the bedroom and several drawers on a desk. The shower pressure and temp were wonderful.

My wife and I couldn’t believe what we were seeing as we drove up —absolutely stunning views that set the perfect tone for our stay. The drive to the home alone is worth mentioning, with breathtaking scenery all along the way. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately impressed by how spotless everything was, and the view from inside the home was just as incredible. The space has a modern cabin feel that was cozy and stylish. It’s incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect place to truly disconnect and unwind. Everything was comfortable and well-maintained; we didn’t have any issues during our stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and made it clear they were available if we needed anything, which made us feel even more at ease. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with access to nature, there are some great hiking and biking trails nearby. We highly recommend this place and would definitely come back! The location could not have been better! We loved Maria’s place and she was very communicative. The view never got old, and we were close to everything we wanted to see while in Switzerland. While we had a car and got to use the included parking spot, we also tried using the bus stop which was immediately outside the home and it was very easy to navigate around Switzerland. We would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone who’s visiting Switzerland!

We stayed here for a week in June and truly it was one of the nicest places we've stayed. The house was lovely, with so many thoughtful touches for the guests. The scenery from the garden could not be better; it was so lovely to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings. The location is great - well situated to take day trips in every direction, or just hang out and spend time on the lake. While in the house/garden we felt away from everything, but it's still an easy walk into the village for shops/restaurants/train station. Dieter was super helpful, friendly, and responsive. We would definitely stay again!

Amazing location and the place is small but well equipped and a perfect peaceful location

Hans place was great and Andrea was great at communication. The location is great, only 8 mins to the center station. The waterbody described is walkable however not much to do on this side of the lake. The apt building is sorrounded by office building and a construction site which can be noisy in the am on weekdays, wasnt much of a problem for us as we were out and about early most days. The bedroom was nice and clean, however had two relatively smaller pillows and I agree with someone on here that the bed couldve been a bit more comfortable. The place is kept quiet cozy even when it was 50F out, we couldnt control the indoor temp so opened the windows and used pedestal fan provided. The bathroom was nice and clean, however there were no shampoo/shower gel, its ok as we got to explore to the nearby Migros mart which is maybe a 10 or so min walk. The kitchen was nice and clean, had all the crockery that one would need, we made breakfast almost daily. Overall great stay and recommended

It was a very, very clean and tidy accommodation. I was a little late for the chat, but the owner kindly welcomed me. It was hard because I had a lot of luggage, but they gave me champagne and a lot of chocolate!! If the schedule was right, it was a great place to extend. I plan to visit this place the next time I come to Switzerland. Don't worry, just book it!!!! Thank you again, Thomas.

Our family had a great stay at Tina’s place. The home was clean, well-maintained, and felt very safe. All the necessary amenities were provided, including fresh towels, clean bed sheets, and linens. My daughter especially loved the cozy bunk bed—it was a big hit! We would definitely recommend Tina’s place to anyone who doesn’t mind a short bus ride from the main station.

We had been looking for a modern apartment for our vacation on Lake Lucerne for a long time and then came across Roshan's great Scandinavian furnished, bright and friendly apartment. We felt very comfortable from the beginning, everything you need is there - compact, high-quality and cozy. Mattress is excellent, we slept super well. The roof terrace is beautifully situated towards the forest hill and you can hear a lot of nature. That's really great. The roof at the back protects from the noise of the road and railway tracks by the lake. The communication was exemplary and super friendly! You can quickly walk to the lake, boat, train and in the village with a bakery, butcher and Lidl. Logistically top location! We highly recommend the apartment and will gladly come back ourselves.

The surroundings of Doris' apartment are simply WONDERFUL, a special place that will make you feel immense regret when you have to leave. The apartment is small, but it has everything you need, and Doris makes you feel at home, always ready to help you make your stay a great experience. The area is really beautiful. They were two seperate rooms with a kitchen. The hosts were really friendly and also provided us with extra Ventilators due to the terrific heat. Over all, Nice stay.

We were so impressed with this air bnb! It was incredibly clean and I could tell how much attention to detail Orlando had put into the whole experience. The surroundings were also so beautiful and quiet. There was a grocery store a 2 min walk away and it was very quick and easy to get to the airport the next morning. We would definitely stay here again!
