My family stayed at Apartment Arven during summer. Location of apartment is great, the surrounding is beautiful with views of Staubbach Falls from all the rooms, and views of mountains from the balcony. Walkable distance to Staubbach Falls, Coop Supermarket and Lauterbrunnen train stations where we can easily get on to train towards Wengen, Kleine Scheidegg & Jungfrau, and also cable car towards Murren. Richard is very responsive whenever I have any questions or need any assistance. The check-in instructions and other important informations provided are clear. The house also had everything we needed. Highly recommend to anyone who wish to visit Switzerland to stay at Lauterbrunnen Apartment Arven.

We had a lovely stay at this charming terrace house! While the place is on the smaller side, it still comfortably fit our family of four and had everything we needed. It was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped — the full set of cooking amenities made it easy for us to prepare meals during our stay. It did get quite warm during the summer, especially without air conditioning, but thankfully, the hosts provided several fans which helped keep things manageable. Overall a great place that I would definitely recommend!

It's a little far from Grindelwald Station, but the bus is also running, and it's far from the main hotels, so it's very serene and peaceful. If I go back, I'll visit again.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was clean, cozy, and in a great location—perfect for exploring the area. 10 minutes walk to town centre, supermarkets and First cable car. 10 minutes drive to Eiger gondola. Communication was smooth, and check-in was hassle-free. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and we really appreciated the comfort after long days out. One suggestion: having a washer and dryer would be especially helpful, especially during wet weather. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

Dieter and Sylvia’s apartment is incredible, more beautiful than pictured, on an aquamarine lake with views of snowcapped peaks, farmhouse-dotted mountains, and windsurfers whipping around like dragon flies. We would have happily sat on the patio all day. Or better yet, on the stone steps with our feet in the lake! When time came to go indoors, each room was tasteful and comfortable, with big windows and phenomenal views. The kitchen is well designed, equipped with everything you need. And the apartment was spotlessly clean. There is a ton to do in the area and the town of Flüelen is relaxed and easy. We hope to come back to experience it in winter! Dieter and Sylvia were very generous with their attention, making sure our needs were met in the apartment and pointing us in the direction of special activities outside. Their kindness and hospitality made a big impression on us. This is a magical place. Hands down, our best AirBnB ever.

This is the second year we have stayed at the chalet and would return each time we visit Lauterbrunnen. This time we decided to stay a week. We feel right at home and have everything we need. Check in is smooth. It is a bit of a workout to get there, but so worth it. The view is peaceful and beautiful. We spent a good bit of time just sitting in front of the open windows listening to the cow bells across the valley. We can't think of any other place we'd want to stay if we are visiting. Thank you for offering this great accommodation.

We had a nice stay. A warm welcome and clear explanation from our incredibly friendly hosts. The children could pick currants in the garden and had plenty of space to play safely outside in the enclosed garden. A good place to rest from our journey.

Slim pickings in this area so we were happy to find Mai and Thomas's place near Frauenfeld so we could be near to family we were visiting. All worked quite well and they were helpful in accommodating us six and a baby, including providing a crib. There are two bedroom areas with a queen and a twin in each, so three sleep in each room. Kitchen is small but fairly well-stocked. Dining room is ample with a large table. Single bathroom with barrier-free shower so water gets nearly all over the bathroom when you shower. Bath was well-stocked with soap, shampoo, etc. All in all it was a very good stay. Thanks!

Stayed for a week in May with our 3 teenage kids, the whole family enjoyed the breathtaking views, the traditional Swiss feel, lots of local adventures We will all miss the sounds of the cow bells 😍 already planning a winter trip back, Nicole was a wonderful host and we couldn’t have wished for more

Very clean. Amazing view and pool is great. Close to town for market and well stocked kitchen with wonderful hi-end appliances. Neighbors are closer than appear in photos and can be noisy at times mowing and just living life. Heat wave while there and with no AC it was warmer than we would have liked even when windows are open. Nothing owner could do about that. Screens would help keep bugs out but that would take away from views. Owner very responsive and helpful when needed. Would stay here again for sure if available. Thank you! we loved it.

We had a wonderful time at the Bijouhaus (2 adults, 4 children). The Bijouhaus was clean, fresh, bright and immediately created a feel-good atmosphere for us. Many leisure activities are quickly and easily accessible by car. The best strawberries of all time are available in the farm shop (5 minutes walking distance) :) Andrea responded quickly and personally to concerns and questions. Loved our stay, truly beautiful home and perfect for our family (2 adult couples couples and a family of 3 with 6 year old). Child friendly with safe bedding and available books and toys to play with. Great location 5 minutes from train station and 2 blocks walk from COOP grocery store. A few things to get used to as being from USA appliances are slightly different, but we knew that ahead of time. Also thankful for the previous review that mentioned needing to buy additional toilet paper if staying more than a few days, it was easy to pick up with our groceries. Hosts were very responsive and kind with the questions we had. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will remember our trip fondly and our stay here.

It was a great time with the family. I find the accommodation very expensive. But nowadays everything is overpriced anyway. Still, a great location! Perfect for relaxation - Werner is a very nice person. He even gave us a whole bucket of eggs - thank you!

We had a lovely stay here. Silvia was very responsive and gave us great local recommendations for hikes / picnics. Her home was very peaceful and very close to a bus stop that we used everyday. We loved sitting on the balcony and soaking in the view of the lake.

Catia and Lukas are exceptional hosts. I had a hard time believing all the other reviews but they are all true to reality✨ The place is of a quality and cleanliness that I have never seen on Airbnb. Everything is thought out in every detail, the little touches, the decor, the quality bedding very comfortable, the walk-in for clothes, etc. We stayed with our 2 year old twins and were able to enjoy the sunny days in the garden or on foot in the neighborhood. The planes taking off and the cows were much appreciated 😉 The environment is quiet and peaceful except maybe the bell tower right in front that rings all day.. and all night (!!) but it's part of the charm of the place 🤭 Close to Zürich by car with parking right in front, that's perfect. Thanks again to Catia and Lukas for this warm welcome 😊

We had a very nice time with Rita. My 6-year-old daughter was very warmly received by Rita and taken directly to the farm. There, she is allowed to drive a small tractor. There was also a small wooden farm and other small toys in the apartment. So, for a vacation with children, it's just really nice. I can therefore highly recommend it.

Great hosts and amazing place. Beds were very comfy and my two teens had no problems sharing the comfy pullout (which was all made up and ready for them when we arrived). Sara and Rob thought of everything when stocking this place…every time we thought “I wonder if they have a ___… there is was”. We enjoyed mornings and evenings out on the beautiful patio. We loved the proximity to the trails. It’s is easily walkable from town especially if you take the covered walking bridge by the mini golf…but on days we were rushed or tired it was also a quick bus trip as we were right at the bus stop! At night you can look right over at the light-up Stabbach falls from the yard. Highly recommend!
