Surrounded by the Dales and close to Ingleton there are plenty of scenic walks, eateries and days out to be had. OHHY provides family and dog friendly cottages in the Dales, which we hope will make you feel right at home. We invite you to enjoy this beautiful area, exploring all it has to offer.

There are many walks from the cottage across fields, through woods and along the peaceful River Greta. It is in perfect striking distance for walking and exploring the Dales and Lake District. Ingleside Cottage is a 200 year old stone cottage, boasting a quirky layout and impressive split level garden area.  It is ideally situated to explore the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District, including the famous Ingleton Waterfall Trail and Ingleton Cave. Burton-in-Lonsdale is a compact village of 600 residents within a short walking distance from the community shop. Unfortunately the village pub is temporarily closed (01/03/24) as it is for sale.

The Fenwick Arms gastro pub is situated a short 12minute walk away at the bottom of the homes private driveway.
