Apartment holiday rentals in Lough Corrib

This Airbnb is in the downstairs of a picturesque old building in the heart of Clonbur. A bakery and grocery store are across the street. Although trucks do rattle by early in the morning, and the property overlooks a wood mill, the location in general terms is fabulous because of all the things to see and do nearby. The layout of the rental is surprising at first, but it’s actually very comfortable once you get used to having an entry area with the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom in separate rooms off the entry. A couple of tips: hold the front door handle up, to lock it, and pull the string in the bathroom to make the shower’s hot water heater turn on. The owner of this rental is a delight, the village is charming, and the countryside surrounding it is stunning. Hiking trails are in easy walking distance! I highly recommend this rental.

We had a really memorable stay. Tom and Christina were really helpful, friendly and very welcoming, every detail they gave was perfect. The studio was our perfect getaway, a very peaceful and quiet locality. We went by the recommendations given by Tom and Christina, they were all worth it. They also have two labs who were very loving and friendly. We can’t wait to come back here, the kind of place where you could have the most relaxed vacation :)

Great place to unwind for a few days surrounded by nature. It was nice to have the washer and dryer too. The hosts were very kind and responsive. Highly recommend!

My 2 weeks in Cong at John Joe’s apartment were more than wonderful. The upstairs apartment had everything I needed plus more to be comfy and cozy. John Joe is a generous host, at the ready to provide whatever I needed. He is a gentleman and as a long resident of Cong widely known and highly respected in the village. He is a lovely man whose kindness infused my experience. I had a deeply happy time in Cong and the charm and aesthetic of John Joe’s airbnb apartment made my time there one that is already among my most treasured destinations - an experience of a lifetime. Access to the property is very organised. Deborah is a fantastic host, hospitable and concerned about her guests needs. Her Annex is spacious that will suit other's requirements for a short stay. Very quiet environment.

Amazing location and place to stay when you visit Galway. The tiny house had everything needed and just walking distance from major attractions ( grocery, restaurants, famous streets). Shauna is an amazing host and she was proactive in sharing all info needed and great suggestions. I would definitely rebook again when I am visiting Galway.

We are just back from a lovely stay at Tony’s retreat. It was perfect for us and very clean. Hosts went over and above for us to ensure that we had a lovely stay for my mums birthday. 🎂 Great location wise also as we were visiting Knock for a few days. Very close to Knock Shrine and easily accessible for all! We will definitely be back to stay again! Thanks so much to Antoinette for making our stay so enjoyable! 🥰

From the moment Aine met us at the harbour to leaving our bags back to the boat on our departure she was the perfect hostess. The accommodation has a great well equipped kitchen with modern perfect appliances and all kitchen equipment was fresh and relatively new. The home made brown bread which is left in the kitchen on your arrival also deserves a special mention. All in all I would highly recommend this property.

I can’t say enough good things about Jamie and our stay in his apartment. From the moment we booked our stay he was attentive , thoughtful and welcoming. The space was stylish, stocked and spotless. The location was perfect and close to everything. Jamie also went above and beyond with local recommendations (video walk throughs) We will absolutely be back to Galway and Jamie’s apartment. If you are ever in the Galway area this is the best apartment you could possibly book!

Michael was an excellent host, and the space is beautiful. stayed here with my dad to walk in The Burren and couldn't have had a more perfect base or host. very knowledgeable, lots of great recommendations. can only recommend

We had a lovely 2 nights at Sarah’s Airbnb but was very clean, tidy and spacious and had all the amenities required. Great location, short walk to Salthill beach, shops and restaurants. You can even walk all the way to Galway around the waterfront if you like a good walk. Sarah was very helpful and check in and out was very easy. Location was also quiet.

Ita's place is in a perfect, quiet location, the place was spotless when we arrived, and she always responded quickly whenever we had a question. The pictures don't do it justice 100%, it's far more spacious than it looks. Easy to access with vehicle, road up to the house is properly taken care of. Many beautiful sunsets we're seen on our stay as well - great views from the living room. Internet is fast. Not much else to say, our stay was perfect. Thanks again Ita!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Bakery Flat. It was accurately depicted in the photos. It was so nice to relax for two nights in such a clean and comfortable place. We really appreciated the thoughtful welcome treats, suggestions for walks & dinners, and use of the laundry machines. We would definitely stay at Anne Marie’s place again!

We loved our stay. The apartment was just as described & perfect for us. The area is beautiful & we enjoyed our morning runs & walks too! The area was fairly quiet with not many eating places. Our host was fabulous & left us an Easter gift. I would definitely recommend this accommodation, thank you!

Easily one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in! Mary and Michael’s place was clean, quiet, and had a beautiful view.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Grattan Holiday Apartments, car parking out the back, spacious rooms, well-equipped kitchen and within walking distance to the beach, local pubs and restaurants. It's about a 20 minute walk into Galway city and taxi back is around €10. Highly recommend a stay here. Sean and Cathal are on hand if you need them and will recommend places to visit and eat

Great place to stop for a few days in Galway. Place was very clean and had everything we needed. Loved that it had parking.
