Nyree and Jeff were the perfect hosts and their home in Proissans is just idyllic. We had 6 wonderful days there and wished we’d booked longer. The setting is so beautiful, the gite is lovely, cosy and well appointed, we loved the animals and the pool, and Nyree and Jeff were so kind and welcoming. There is lots to do in the surrounding areas and Nyree and Jeff made some great recommendations including canoeing along the dordogne and a visit to Chateau des Milandes. We would 100% recommend a stay and hope to return again next year.

Perfect accommodation for a total rest, very pleasant. It is in the middle of several iconic places to visit, which allows you to do a lot of things in a weekend! The breakfasts we ordered are excellent, thank you again! We'll be happy to go back!

i think I've never rented such a clean place and what a pleasure! The house matches the description and even better than the photos. The kitchen equipment is top notch. We felt right at home and it's not easy! Quiet house but shops are 5 minutes away by car. We found the hot tub nice to spend the new year. Thanks to Pauline for his availability and hospitality. Relaxing and refreshing family stay. Do it again in summer for this time to take advantage of the swimming pool.

We had a great week at Olivier's cottage - the place is beautiful, peaceful and very well-equipped. It matches the photos and description perfectly. Olivier was very responsive and his information was very clear and helpful. I teleworked and the wifi connection is impeccable. Lots of places to visit nearby such as Puy l'Evêque, Cahors, Pech Merle Cave, Rocamadour, the Gouffre de Padirac and many more! Walks in the vineyards are very pleasant as is the Jacuzzi at the end of the day with a view of the forest :) We can only recommend this cottage and thank Olivier and Fabienne for the perfect provision of their accommodation. Had a very good stay at Géraldine's. And I thank her for hosting me and my 3 dogs (spitz) they were able to enjoy a large garden and great walks around. It's very peaceful and really nice to rest in peace. Very close to Albi and other villages where there is a lot to see

We had a pleasant stay in Caroline and Bruno's charming house, in the heart of Cahors. What a pleasure to have coffee in the courtyard under the eyes of the neighborhood cats!

We stayed for a month enjoyed a very relaxing time. Marie Christine could not have been more helpful. The village is beautiful and busy during the day but very quiet at night with limited restaurants open. But it is open with all the restaurants at lunch time. The Bar in the centre of the village was very friendly and we would recommend the hotel in the village for food! The walks were sublime - if you love walking you will love it here. Marie Christine was super helpful and hospitable - even when we accidentally broke her fridge - a truly lovely lady. If you like quirky you will love it here.

Can’t rate this place highly enough! It is the most wonderful place; blissful and beautiful views all so calm and perfect setting. The house is immaculate very clean with lovely interiors, comfortable beds and lovely bedding. If you are looking for a fantastic place that you don’t want to leave this could be it; just perfect. Jean-Xavier is lovely and extremely helpful.

We had a great couple of weeks here. It proved an ideal location from which to explore the Périgord Vert. A very peaceful spot with a secure garden for our dog and walks nearby. The facilities in the cottage were excellent and as described and we really appreciated the bottle of wine and home made cake on arrival. The pool was very relaxing and comfortable and easily warm enough to swim in late May. There is an (excellent) boulangerie in the nearest village which is walkable and supermarkets for provisions in Brantôme. Several nearby towns had markets. Suzy and Steve (and Alfie) were lovely hosts and we fully recommend it. It was exactly what we wanted.

If you want a change of scenery and calm in a beautiful environment with a splendid view, this is the right place! The house is beautiful, well furnished, nothing is missing, everything is clean. The bedding is comfortable, the bathrooms impeccable. Don't forget the bread😀. We are 15 minutes from St Geniez, but it's so nice to hear and see the herd of cows and hear the birds singing. Fabienne is very responsive and friendly. Well done and thank you

Simply a gem! The renovation of this character building was done with great taste. The level of excellence is very high in all respects. The view is incredible, the living room with stove at the top, large friendly kitchen, you feel like you're in a real house inhabited all year round. Perfect for families with children. No hesitation. It's a privilege to share this place.

We had a very nice stay in Catherine and Jean-Pierre's cottage, little spoiled by time unfortunately which did not allow us to enjoy the beautiful exterior (terrace, garden, vegetable garden and pool), but a warm and well decorated cottage. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need, the living room has a fireplace very easy to use to find yourself by the fire in case of rain, the bedrooms are spacious and the 2 bathrooms make the preparation fluid in the morning! Getting together as a family (from Brittany, Rotterdam, Paris and Barcelona) in this beautiful green region, Catherine was good advice on all the activities of the region (equestrian center, castles, villages, chasms, hikes... ) and the visit of its beautiful vegetable garden - note however that it is necessary to rely on the car for all outings , the sites being at least 25 km away! We hope to return someday with milder weather to keep exploring!

Staying with Carl and Tara was a highlight of our road trip. Too much to say in a little review like this, but suffice it to say, you won’t regret staying here 1 bit. I’m sure we’ll be back!

stay planned for a reunion with friends, the place proposed by Marie-Blanche ticks all the boxes for what we are looking for: quiet, isolated but close to the city and a beautiful landscape with the Tarn at the bottom of the accommodation and accessible by a private passage. Marie-Blanche and Nabila were attentive and professional on the instructions to find the accommodation and even accommodating. I will keep a very good memory of this stay

the house was extremely comfortable and had a lovely fenced garden and super terrace. we enjoyed coming home there. the distance from facilities was doable with sarlat 14 mins away.

holiday experience was great from start to finish very helpful hosts and set in a very scenic area which was close to the major attractions in the area whether you wanted to explore grottos or chateaus / castles or scenic towns all were within easy reach. welcomed and shown around the property and shown and explained all we needed to know , the use of bikes - bike path right next to property close to villages of les Eyzies and le Bugue 2 person kayak right next to river Vezere - very relaxing paddle on the river not to be missed out. pool area was great and heated with lovely gardens and lots of areas to sit with your morning coffee badminton net and rackets supplied your own barbecue area and every utensil for barbecue or kitchen was supplied first experience with air bnb and the hosts went above and beyond what we expected very pleased many thanks for having us David & Caroline

Nice little accommodation, well-equipped, with a very nice terrace sheltered from view. Quiet and very well located, in the heart of the beautiful village of Bruniquel with very beautiful walks to do. Leila is a very generous and caring host for her guests. A pleasure!

We had a great time. We had everything we needed for our baby without asking for anything, it's very appreciable. (High chair, bathtub, towel, blanket) The cottage is very well located (10 minutes from Domme) is quiet, very well equipped. I think this is the first time I've done an Airbnb with so much attention and so well thought out. All the little touches are really little extras to have a good stay. Sincerely, a big congratulations to you, you did something really nice. Outside is beautiful too. Everything is very well explained for everything, the elf is a nugget of information

Very interesting quirky old house with lots of lovely antique things in it. It is set in a wide open space with swings and slides and had loads of amazing toys which my 3 year old grandson loved. He didn’t want to leave and said he was going to miss the very friendly donkeys and all the toys. We had a lovely time but sadly the weather was very mixed so we only managed to use the pool once. On our last night we ate at Azul in Cancon and it was excellent. Thank you Françoise and Pascal for a lovely stay.
