We loved our stay at this charming farm! The beauty and tranquility of this place is beyond words. The houses on the farm are beautifully decorated and the host was super welcoming. The highlight of our stay was definitely the chance to disconnect from daily life and simply enjoy nature. We visited the nearby villages and hiked to the top of the Serra da Estrela, which was an unforgettable experience. We spent our days exploring the vast lands and admiring the stunning views of the surrounding countryside. In the evenings, we kicked back in the hammocks, enjoying the mountain breeze and the sound of birds chirping in the distance. The local cheese was a real treat, it was one of the tastiest cheeses I've ever had! All in all, our stay at this farm was an experience we will never forget. We returned home feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I would highly recommend this farm to anyone looking for a natural getaway. Thank you so much for sharing your little slice of paradise with us!

Amazing location and beautiful space

Fantastic hospitality. The art of making us feel at home, even hundreds of miles away. The friendliness of all the people. All the amenities needed for a stay. The beauty of the development and the surrounding rustic areas. The delicious breakfast (the orange juice... the pastries... the homemade cakes...) And the sadness of having to go home, dreaming of returning soon...

We had an amazing time at Fernando’s place! The scenery is beautiful and the house was perfect for the relaxing trip we were hoping for! The locals in Valhelhas are so friendly and fun to be around. Our stay in this small village was fantastic! We can only recommend Fernando’s place!

Excellent choice to escape the city routine! Accessible location, with parking and useful infrastructures about 20 minutes by car. Very beautiful and welcoming historic village, calm, surrounded by nature and peace. The house exceeded expectations, being better than in the photographs, besides that it was impeccable: clean, tidy and equipped with everything you need. The huge courtyard, the amazing jacuzzi, the bicycles, the hammock, the skylights, the air conditioning, the fire, the fireplace and the salamander were some of the cherries on the cake, but everything amazed us and made us feel right at home! Reception of companion animals also pleased us a lot. The hosts were impeccable: friendly, available, responsive, accessible and always ready to help or give suggestions on what to enjoy in the surroundings. Dona Paula is a very humble and caring person, who knows the history of the village and sharing it with a glow in her eyes. We hope to return one day!

Fantastic apartment with great AC and very responsive host!

Great place in beautiful surroundings. Everything we needed for a 1 night stay. There are steps and low ceiling heights in places may be difficult for someone with mobility issues.

Miguel's apartment is very close to the center of Salamanca and allows you to do all the walking tours. The space is small, but very well decorated and organized. We really liked the place and recommend it without reservation to anyone interested in visiting Salamanca.

Ruben was always attentive. The apartment is exactly as shown in the photo. The stay was a ten!!!

Rosa is a very kind host, who explained everything to us very well. He is available in case you need anything and responds very quickly to messages. The apartment is spacious and is located in a quiet area, 15 minutes from the center. For the comfort of guests, everything necessary is left in the kitchen and bathrooms for your convenience. We had a small problem when we arrived, but Rosa solved it more than adequately. Thank you.

Highly recommended. The place is just as it appears in the photos. There is area to park the car for free on foot of accommodation and the center is located a 15 minute walk in a straight line. There were quite a few things in the pantry for breakfast, so the detail is appreciated, however, there is a Mercadona 5 minutes away.

The place was spectacular and was very well maintained and clean. The breakfast provided was sumptuous and plentiful. On the whole was a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

It was great staying in Carmo's home, she was always very kind and communicative. The house is great, and the outdoor area is very large and quiet. The clean rooms, the comfortable beds and the chimney in the living room is very nice for the cold days. Wishing to return one day!

I can't say enough about how incredible this Airbnb was, Carla and her property were so beyond expectations. My family and I felt extremely comfortable there, it is remote but absolutely beautiful. We were not able to use the pool, because the weather was a little bit cold. I jumped in for like 20 minutes and even though it was cold it was very nice. Carla was so communicative the entire time we were there, she made lots of helpful suggestions and helped us to book a tour around the Douro Valley and surrounding areas. She and a friend also cooked us breakfast every morning, which was delicious and helped us to start our day. 10 out of 10, I would absolutely return.

A beautiful family friendly home. Dini is a lovely hostess who was very responsive and communicative. The garden around the house is extremely beautiful and the view is amazing

A 5-minute walk to downtown. It has a terrace with a pool that in summer has to be wonderful.
