From the window of the upper floor of the renovated barn, which is located next to our farm, you have a view of the Cabauwse mill, and if you are lucky the stork will be brooding across the street. Aan de Kaai is in (Cabauw/Lopik) on the border of the province of Utrecht and Zuid Holland. In the middle of the Groene Hart of the Utrecht Waarden and the Krimpenerwaard.

This beautiful cottage used to be a 100-year-old wagon barn, of which old beams have remained in sight as much as possible. The cottage is in the yard of our 400-year-old monumental stool farmhouse, where we live with our sheep, chickens and dog. The cottage features a private outdoor seating area. Opposite the farm are the floodplains of the river Lek with the many nice little beaches. And a stone's throw away is the cozy silver town of Schoonhoven.

Beautiful new apartment in lovely coutry side surroundings. The apartment is in a charming camping lot, second floor, shares terracce with one other neighbour apartment, but has a private entrance. Very quiet, a bit away from attractions, but for that you get beautiful landscape and dreamy country roads. Apartment is new, very clean, one queen size comfy bed and big sofa couch in living room. Love the decor and extra chairs to sit in! Ask for the breakfast, they offer to bring you one for small cost. Everything you need for a longer stay is there, hosts are very helpful! I hope to stay again!

What a gorgeous stay! We’ve booked a stay during a convention in Rotterdam and it was awesome to return back to such a peaceful place. I loved the tiny house and Hans and Martine were super friendly. Definitely would book this airbnb again next year! :)

Lovely place to stay! Check-in went smoothly and it was nice that I could arrive later in the evening. Everything was well taken care of. The place itself was sparkling clean and radiated tranquility — exactly as in the pictures. You'll notice that everything has been thought of with care. The host was very friendly and helpful which made it extra nice. Truly a place where you feel right at ease. Delightful waterfront with stunning harbour views and historic buildings! Highly recommend!

Cherry Cottage is a little paradise! The cottage is furnished with so much heart and attention to detail – super cozy, very clean and well equipped. You feel immediately welcome and can really switch off. An absolute highlight was the hot tub, which you heat up with wood – pure relaxation in the middle of this wonderfully quiet environment. The adjacent sheep pasture was simply idyllic, as was the entire location of the cottage – totally quiet, lots of privacy and just ideal for getting down. We felt completely comfortable and are very happy to come back. If you are looking for a cozy break in beautiful nature, this is the place to be. Thank you for this wonderful stay!
