I booked a weekend away for my son and daughter. They absolutely loved the place. Matched exactly what was expected, very clean. Debbie even put the heaters on before they arrived to make sure it was cosy for them. I’m going to pay it a visit myself soon and would highly recommend. Debbie was great to deal with too. We had a fantastic night in a lovely spot! From arrival we were made to feel extremely welcome! Maxine and Rob were brilliant hosts and provided great recommendations. The cabin was amazing! Very comfortable, private and stocked with everything we could need for the night! The hot tub was clean and a great experience. We had a great time and couldn't have asked for anymore!

Would 100% recommend staying here , myself and my partner loved it 😍 everything was as described and the views from the hot tub was amazing. Scott and Laura were great at responding to messages as well :). Would definitely stay here again

We loved it , exactly what we needed for a few days . Getting away from our normally hectic work life . Nice and peaceful. we loved the privacy although your right next to the hosts home you’d never know . They’ve set out everything so you are very much in separate space . The hot tub is amazing, perfect for star gazing if you turn off the lights . On arrival Ann-Marie was so helpful and showed us everything we needed to know . Getting to meet the family pets was a bonus too . Honestly can’t recommend it enough. We both agreed we’d definitely return . If you’re looking for somewhere, chilled with beautiful views this is the one . Loved it thanks again .

This cabin is truly breathtaking, the photos honestly don’t do it complete justice which says a lot! Everything has been well thought out, and the cabin has a lovely rustic feel to it whilst having a few modern comforts as well. Really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back again for longer!

I loved my stay at the Apothecary. It was a joy to be there in June with the roses in full bloom and be able to wander around the grounds, meet the donkeys, talk to the staff and enjoy the flowers. I'll definitely return.

Great communication with Sarah the host. The cabin is located across the drive from the hosts home, but is very private and has its own access. You look out over a lovely meadow where you can spot wild deer wandering. It is super cosy, spotlessly clean and finished to a high standard. Basic fresh provisions such as bread, milk, breakfast cereals, tea, coffee, sugar and wine are provided. There were even dog bowls and a towel left out as I had my dog with me. Good dog walks nearby. I also had a meal at a great dog friendly pub in the village – The Old Inn, which is, about 5 mins away by car. I would love to stay at the cabin again and will certainly recommend staying here to my friends and family.

Highly recommend! What an absolutely beautiful spot. Janine has really thought of everything you could need for your stay. She was so kind and welcoming and even did some extra special treats for our stay. I didn’t want to leave this beautiful spot and will most definitely be back! Completely enclosed and secure for my dog who loved all the space! Highly dog friendly apart from dogs not being allowed on the beds, this is not included on the advertisement but is worth knowing for people who want a truly complete dog friendly experience. Otherwise I couldn’t find a single fault and we absolutely loved our stay! Thank you Janine!

A great place to stay! Very clean and well appointed. Beautiful location and very peaceful. Hot tub was clean and very relaxing. Our host Carolyn was very friendly, helpful and responsive. Really couldn’t have asked for more!

The property was beautiful and very well equipped. It was set in a lovely location over looking a field with lots of wildlife. We felt very relaxed and at home there and Jenna was a great host and very responsive.

This was our first little holiday with our one year old pup everything was as listed the photos of the outside space don’t reflect how lovely the garden is,it is fully enclosed and perfect for our dog to explore safely and a lovely sun trap too. Toms cabin was very clean and tidy and Tina and Tom and their two dogs were very friendly and welcoming, it is in perfect walking distance to the fighting cocks where the food was amazing we will definitely be booking again in the future.

Fantastic stay. It was just what we needed. Very quiet with loads of activities for the kids to do. Also situated perfectly to explore the local area. Matt was great, super helpful and responsive. We will definitely be returning. If it was up to the kids we would still be there.

Wonderful stay. Sam was very responsive and accommodating. Cabin was warm and cosy with lots to do locally. We were a bit apprehensive about the outdoor shower in the final week of October, but it was a great experience! Thank you.

My stay at Tom and Pia’s chalet was an absolute dream! The gardens were breathtaking and I loved my visits from their cats, chickens, and peacocks to make my stay even brighter. It was a true immersion into nature and one of my favorite parts was a back gate exit that took me straight to the Tor entrance. Pia and Tom were so welcoming and gave clear instructions and great recommendations. A very special and memorable stay!

My stay at the Avalon Retreat Cabin was absolutely lovely. The cabin itself gives the perfect environment for magical dreams, as well as drinking some tea while reading a book and listening to the spring rain fall upon the green leaves. The little garden is a peaceful place for reflection. Right around the corner is not only the grocery store, there is one of the most amazingly huggable trees that I encountered on my trip! A brilliant time and I hope to return soon. Kate

A Perfect Peaceful Getaway – Highly Recommend! We recently stayed at Apple Tree Glamping in Wells and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, everything felt calm and inviting. The place was spotless and incredibly comfortable, with every little detail thoughtfully taken care of — we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The setting was peaceful and private, making it the perfect escape for a couple’s retreat. The hot tub was a definite highlight. The overall cleanliness and quality of the accommodation exceeded our expectations. We would definitely recommend Apple Tree Glamping to anyone looking for a cozy, quiet getaway with all the comforts of home (and then some!). Can’t wait to return!

We wanted a night away somewhere quiet and near a nice pub we could stroll too. We wanted to be snug and left alone. This was the perfect space a beautiful hut with everything you needed we slept so very well too. Lovely hosts and family.

Lovely place to stay! We were a group of 9 and they were very accommodating prior to our stay, setting the beds up how we wanted and adding an extra chair to the table. It was clean, attractive, and had all the amenities we needed to cook for ourselves. Swimming in the lake followed by the sauna was a highlight. Overall a wonderful weekend stay even in drizzly February!
