Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Long Lake Township

We loved our stay at the Hoxie Homestead. The location was central to all of northern Michigan’s cute towns and beaches. The property was clean and well laid-out. Loved the decor, and the master bed was super comfy and soft. The hot tub and sauna were perfect. We would certainly stay again.

Our stay was exactly what we needed. The property was beautiful and comfortable. There were many things to do on the lake and amenities to use. I had to drag my husband away since he didn't want to leave. Jennifer was an impeccable hostess and not only takes great care of the property but went above and beyond to make our stay carefree. I loved the information given on surround business and personal touches to make us feel welcomed. Thank you. Just a warning the fish in this lake love to tease and are experts at getting a free breakfast from your lines!

The home is beautifully situated right on Long Lake, offering stunning views from both the upper and lower decks. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need, and there’s plenty of comfortable seating and hangout space throughout the property, perfect for groups or families looking to relax and enjoy the lake. Communication with the host was excellent - quick, helpful, and made the stay even smoother. A few helpful notes for future renters: 1. Accessibility: Access to the home requires walking down a long flight of stairs through a hallway. If anyone in your group has mobility challenges, this could be a significant consideration. 2. Boat Access: If you plan to rent a boat, note that the dock shown in the photos is only for loading and unloading. Boats must be moored at a nearby buoy, which requires someone to swim to and from the boat each time it’s used.

It was a lovely place with lots of activities to participate in outdoors. We use the dock and the kayaks and the lake itself was easy to navigate. Lots of wildlife to see. Close enough to town to feel like it was easy to get there, but far enough away to feel Relaxed. We brought our dogs with us and they fit right into the situation and did very well.

Everything was great. We had a small issue...but it was fixed quickly and thoroughly.

We had an excellent stay and experience! The hot tub was clean and private which made for a relaxing getaway. The location is close enough to downtown TC so we had easy access to great restaurants and the house is also conveniently close to the TC trail system, so we had the best of both worlds! Also, Bethany was super responsive to our questions and replied immediately. Thank you for letting us stay in your home!

Brenda and her husband were amazing just like their place. We had a chance to meet, talk and share stories. They were gentle, humble and kind! The view from the top of the hill was beautiful! The games and coloring set they had was perfect for a lazy night! If we find ourselves back in the area we will be back!

It was a beautiful setting. Attached to the winery but on the back side so we had privacy too.

My husband and I enjoyed a weekend away at Paula's unique property. We ate at a few of the restaurants; it was nice having multiple options nearby. We went hiking and explored the beautiful grounds. We also enjoyed some time on the porch. I would definitely stay at Paula's place again!

Love, love, LOVE this little apartment! It was so homey and cute. Handicap accessible, which is a must for us on this trip. My SIL could easily navigate her mechanical chair through the area as it was so open. The beds ended up being too high to move my SIL in and out of, but the pull out couch was perfect height. All the beds were so comfortable- we all commented on how it was the best sleep we’ve all had in a while. Stacey was super awesome to work with and quickly responded to messages. Easy check in process. And, we could walk to the softball tournament. The only bummer is that we didn’t have enough time to walk to the art fair next door. We walked to the park, walked to get ice cream & Starbucks- great location! Strict 10pm “quiet time” was a non-issue: we were so tired every night, we went straight to bed. Great stay in Traverse City. Thank you, Stacey and Roy!

So fun for our family of 4. We enjoyed the lake and cozy accommodations. Can hear people walking and talking upstairs, which were used to and felt right at home. Thoughtful instructions made everything clear. All was spotless and clean. A real treasure!

We loved this apartment! It was clean, the bed was comfy and the decor was charming. Parking is right on site and check in was a breeze - we had no issues. We walked to downtown TC - about a 10-15 minute leisurely walk. The neighborhood is stunning - beautiful homes. I would definitely stay here again!

This place was AMAZING! So clean, had everything we needed, and very well stocked! We will be staying here again when we return to Traverse City.

Perfect location and exactly what we needed. Very quiet. Grounds were beautiful. My only question going in was if the brew pub in the same building would be a distraction but definitely was not. Actually the opposite. We had multiple nice visits there, friendly staff and closes early too. The immediate surrounding area was very quiet and peaceful after 9 PM Saturday night The ability to temporarily pull up to the ground level front door to unload vehicle was handy. So many food and drink options within a few minute walk and great hiking trails right behind building up into hills west of TC were also great. Would stay again for sure. The history of the facility is very interesting and would recommend taking one of the tours available.

Beautiful accommodations. K.C. was a fantastic host and went above and beyond to accommodate us and made sure that we had a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect and we will definitely be back and recommend to our friends and family.

We loved our stay! The listing was exceptionally clean and amenities were as described. We enjoyed the location and having a coffee shop and (delicious) burger joint in walkable distance was a great bonus! The view of the beach and water right off the private balcony was wonderful and having a heated pool/hot tub combo right on property made this an ideal booking for our family. We’d come back and would recommend to others!
