Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Loire Valley

Beautiful country accommodation near Vendôme, Amboise and Blois. The highlight of the accommodation is the large spaces, perfect for accommodating a large family. The kitchen is one of the largest and best equipped I've had on Airbnb. The outdoor space is very beautiful, with barbecue, pond and outdoor furniture. The bedding could be improved (a little soft for our taste). The stairs to access the 2nd floor also because the steps are very narrow and therefore not suitable for young children.

We had a very good stay with friends and our children. Christophe welcomed us and we toured the property together. Listing exactly matches the photos and description. 30 minutes from the zoo, we were able to enjoy the pool and the children were delighted! The house is in a peaceful and very well maintained place. Christophe was available if needed but everything necessary was already in place to have a good stay! I highly recommend it!

The Presbytere is in a lovely peaceful location but with good access to explore the area around Tours. As it is such an old building that has had some modernisation, there were a few things that were interesting and unexpected! The built in oven and washing machine were behind an old wooden door and the microwave in another cupboard- but all worked perfectly. If you like a place with great character and are not looking for modern and contemporary, then you’ll love this place. The front garden was sunny most of the day, so lovely for sitting out for breakfast through to dinner. Gilles was very helpful and his friend Annie, who met us to let us in, was also lovely. One last thing, if you have any mobility issues then the Presbytere is probably not suitable as access is via several quite steep stone steps from the street and parking is a few metres away from the steps.

Nice well-appointed house in a nice garden, 10 minutes from Saumur. 2 very pleasant days, I recommend it.

Very friendly and pro-active hosts who respected our privacy. We absolutely loved the huge enclosed garden for our dogs and enjoyed our sundowner next to the river. We regretted not booking longer but we will return to explore the area. We highly recommend this gite if you enjoy tranquility and beautiful surroundings.

I loved the meticulous consideration, friendly guidance, and hearty welcome throughout my stay. My wife was very satisfied with the comfortable bed. You won't forget the charming chateaux, the peaceful atmosphere, the pretty village, and the friendly smiles.

I cannot recommend this home more. Arnaud was the most welcoming host, inviting us to dine with his family and learn about the history of the house. He was thoughtful and kind. I wish we’d had more time to talk! I know that we’ll be back. The weather was typical Loire spring (on and off rain, hot afternoons followed by cool evenings) and I’d love to come again and spend even longer here. I didn’t get enough of the gardens and walking along the property. It’s also so easy to get to anywhere you need to go for riding bikes or visiting cathedrals or chateaux. I can’t recommend it enough!

Very pleasant stay at Pascal's, the house is very spacious with several living spaces and a very large garden/terrace. it is also very well equipped, which makes it a nice place to host weekends with friends or family. communication with Pascal/Florence went very well for the check-in & check-out, and Pascal does everything possible to make the stay go well between the very detailed traveler manual, welcome basket and advice on activities/restaurants in the region. I would highly recommendit

It’s hard to sum up Anthonin’s beautiful home in just 1000 characters. It’s like nowhere you will have ever stayed before. Every room is so full of character and charm. In every corner of every room is a memory or memento from a 1000 wonderful nights spent here with friends. The house itself has been beautifully and sympathetically restored. It is not a modern property and anyone expecting minimalist chic will be disappointed 😂 it is such a unique property and my family and I loved every minute of our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. It is very private set in beautiful countryside. Restaurants and amenities are a drive away. But there are abundant places for walks and runs from the front door. The pool area is gorgeous and great for all ages. Loads of seating and social areas inside and out. This place is an utter joy and I promise if you’ve stumbled across it you won’t be disappointed. Anthonin too is a complete gent and was always available. Big thumbs up.

It's a really peaceful house where you can find everything you need for a pleasant time. The beds are comfortable , the kitchen is very well equipped , books , games , a stove to warm up . The decor is cute . The pool is well heated and large . The garden is beautiful!! Very well maintained and there is an enchanted atmosphere with animals and water points. Our kids loved the little houseboat and my son is more than happy to have been able to fish . Thank you for your hospitality and kindness . We want to come back next time .

An incredible few days at Domaine le Pineau with my family we had such a relaxing few days after taking part in the Loire Valley Half Ironman. Domaine le Pineau was in such a secluded area and was super peaceful, the perfect place to unwind and get out into nature undisturbed by the outside world. The house been done in such a high quality with really good quality furniture and appliances as well as being super clean and tidy. We absolutely loved the Wood fired hot tub, swimming pool and my baby nephew loved feeding the goats in the nearby field. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting the Loire Valley area. We will definitely be back, thank you again François, what a great host.

Geneviève and her family have made a beautiful space with huge volumes very neat. The park is superb with a view of rich and preserved fauna and flora. What a pleasure to watch the does, the herons in the morning... And the very family-like welcome is remarkable. Thank you for this place and for those who know how to share it so well

Absolutely stunning chateau and grounds! We felt at home straight away and were made very welcome. Access to all amenities and Chiara was very responsive and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

Great place to stay, I’m sure we’re coming back and for a longer visit. The host is amazing! The place has lots of history!

Veronique was very welcoming when she met us at check in. She lives in the main house so is available if needed. The property is pretty unique and well laid out over 3 floors. Comfortable bed and great shower. We didn’t do any cooking as there were great restaurant options in the village and also a very good boulangerie. We enjoyed the private terrace overlooking vineyards. Very peaceful. Angers is only 20 minutes away by car and is a nice (small) city to visit. We also visited Samour and Chinon. We had a very enjoyable 4 days in this lovely part of the Loire.

The cottage is pleasantly decorated , and soothing. Coming for a short stay join family nearby , we only "tested" the bedding (excellent) and the bathroom (superb and functional). If the Kitchen is well equipped with appliances, crockery and utensils, as far as we are concerned we only use the coffee maker and the refrigerator (the change of which is announced because it has run its time). Come back? no problem if the opportunity arises

It’ an unique old house located in the middle of the nature. Lovely quiet place with big garden. Patrick and Benny are really nice hosts, very friendly. We also enjoyed company of little dog Lilly and 3 peacocks.

This property is very special! I loved my time at it. It is such a warm property with so much character but has all the modern elements that are needed for a comfortable longer stay. The internet speed was fantastic as well and I could telework with no issues. The property is private without feeling isolated. I would love to return to this property in the future!

The place is absolutely stunning - super spacious, stylish, has everything one may need on vacation and even more. The terrace is a jem - we enjoyed our breakfasts on the terrace. The area is very serene and quiet. And Celine is an amazing host, extremely helpful and responsive. Definitely would recommend and would dream of returning again!

We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful Le Chalet Olivet, it felt like a fairytale!

This beautiful old house very well furnished, with quality and good taste; Very quiet. Nature view. 2 bedrooms with each bathroom WC, great equipment. Everything is there: soaps, coffee, cooking utensils, etc... everything to live right away. In short, we want to come back! Thank you Pascale 😊
