Pleasant and cheap hostel. I would stay there again.

This is a gem. Amboise itself is a quaint and beautiful town, and Guillaume and Julia’s place is nestled right in the middle of it. A several minute walk from shops, the local chateau, and many restaurants. Although we were a stones throw to the center of the action, it was very quiet and private. Breakfast is a must. It consisted of fresh bread and croissants, meats, cheeses, fruits and nuts, yogurt, and hard boiled eggs in a darling sitting room in the main house. Lovely. Merci, Guillaume and Julia— we will be back!!

The accommodation has been open for rent since July 2024, everything is new, tastefully decorated. It is perfect for 2 people. The villages of Candes and Montsorreau are beautiful. Supermarkets are a little far away 15 km away. lots of sightseeing nearby.

Went as a couple and booked the place as a pmace to stay during our 3 day hike. The spa including the pool, hammam and the sauna were especially rewarding and helped us relax. We really appreciated how calm it was, the surroundings were beautiful and the bed was very comfortable! We tried the restaurant as well and the food was delicious. The place is a perfect place to stay at if you want to visit the surrounding castles.

We had a lovely stay with my friend. The accommodation is clean, quiet and there is good bedding. It is very well located in relation to the city center. Perfect for a little trip to Mayenne!

We had a wonderful family weekend getaway. The house (old farmhouse totally renovated) is very spacious, very well equipped and tastefully decorated, absolutely nothing is missing. The exterior is huge, very well maintained with a completely unobstructed view. The kids were excited to run, to do al fresco activities. The pond at the bottom of the garden allowed us to discover the joys of fishing. Great experience for young and old! Not to mention the relaxation area with indoor pool, jacuzzi and Sauna. In short, enough to relax and rest. Thanks again to Claudette and Jean Claude for having us in their house. They are very friendly hosts, available and very accommodating. This stay was PERFECT! We'll be happy to go back.

Lovely hotel in the centre of town right next to the Abbey. Secure parking available at an easy distance. Hotel restaurant had a great menu, lovely food, and very friendly staff.

Great stay at Margaux's, we were a group of 15 friends. The space was clean, spacious, comfortable, and friendly. Equipped with everything you needed. Good communication with Margaux who was available if needed to answer our questions. Even though the owners have their home in the same courtyard, we had our privacy and independence completely. The accommodation is well located for visiting the area! We were able to adjust our checkout time for an additional cost. Recommended

We loved our stay in Anne’s chateau, beautiful building and in keeping furnishings, Anne greeted us with a warm and friendly welcome and was a lovely host. A comfortable and spacious room, with great views of the grounds, the garden and surroundings were peaceful and relaxing. Thank you

Our stay was a very restful break from our journey. Although language was a bit challenging mr google helped immensely. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful we enjoyed our stay, particularly the swimming pool.

An absolutely exceptional stay! This place is a real piece of heaven. Upon arrival, we were greeted with great kindness, and everything was perfectly clean and thoughtfully prepared. The place is exactly as pictured but even more beautiful in real life: tastefully decorated, very well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable. You feel at home there, for the better! We had a great week too short at Marie and Maurice's who are very welcoming hosts and so charming and friendly. Quiet environment, in a beautiful green setting surrounded by horses and with a pool at the top, what more could you ask for? The property is ideally located near Beauval Zoo, the Castles of the Loire Valley and its small bucolic villages. We will come back without hesitation and with pleasure to complete the visit of your beautiful region and enjoy a peaceful setting. See you soon, I hope 😉

Very nice room and bathroom, very comfortable bedding, quiet, self check-in, very nice view of the park. We only stayed one night but everything went well (a little noise from the road but not in the immediate vicinity of the house and which did not bother us).

The room is located in an 11th century building that the owner completely refurbished 3 years ago. Lovers of old stones, you are in the right place! The kitchen common to the different bedrooms as well as the garden give a breathtaking view of the Loir. It gives this place a lot of charm. The owners are very welcoming.

We had a perfect stay at 4 in this hotel! The rooms were spotless, comfortable and well equipped. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help. We'll be happy to go back!

Clean room, for 3 people a little tight, great king size bed, indoor parking for a fee, international breakfast for a fee.

What about this time spent at [k]ampus? Perfect! Perfect location: a haven of peace , however close to major roads and Vendôme. A perfect house: for families , couples or friends , a beautiful place where the heathered decor on the left to the right simply creates a harmony where you just feel good. Perfect hosts: from those who reconcile you with a lot of airbnb that has become impersonal and cold , there it's all in sharing , everything is done with the heart , from breakfast to conversations! In short, go with your eyes closed!

Agnes was lovely, as was her home overlooking the Loire river. It is historic and well worth a visit!

This is an amazing place in Chinon! We absolutely adored it and will definitely come back. The suite we stayed in was brand new, super nicely decorated and had a great bed. The bathroom had a good shower. The courtyard is really nice. Chinon center is at walking distance. The breakfast is excellent, with lots of home made things. Looking forward to our next visit!
