Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Loire Valley

We had a fabulous stay with Sandrine and Francois! The house was perfect for our family of three, and the provisions available for children and babies is really well thought out with absolutely everything you need for a stay with young ones. The garden is beautiful and very peaceful. The property is well situated for exploring the surrounding Loire valley. We can’t rate our stay high enough and would definitely go and stay again!

Exactly what we were looking for, a nice place in the country that was close to towns and chateaux we could explore. We are a group who likes cooking and were easily able to do so in the nice kitchen oozing with French charm. Plus the beds were very comfortable, always a plus when traveling. The setting was abundant with beautiful flowers in bloom, chickens clucking peacefully, and a horse in the field. It was really wonderful. We appreciated that Odette came out to meet us and to make sure we knew where everything was.

Le Cocon is a fantastic property in the most beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The house itself provided everything we needed and was so cosy. I would recommend staying here in a heartbeat and would love to return. A real haven in the French countryside. The gardens, maze and Shetland ponies were a real highlight. Thomas was a brilliant host and was very responsive to any questions we had.

We had a great stay in this beautiful old mill. The place is very peaceful and superb. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Large swimming pool to relax after a bike ride along the Loire. Excellent welcome from Frédéric. We recommend this place.

We (three adults) had a wonderful time in the very beautiful and exceptionally well-equipped house. Due to the central location, we had the opportunity to take extensive tours in the Loire Valley with our bikes. We also liked the nearby and very pretty town of Esvres. We can therefore recommend the address without restrictions and would like to express our gratitude for the pleasant stay with the very friendly hostess.

The blandiniere was perfect for our weekend of going green. In a very quiet environment. The accommodation is charming and has everything you need, even a very good internet connection. Impeccable bedding, modern bathroom. Florence and François were flexible about the arrival time and provided us with a lot of information about nearby activities. Bikes are available at a reasonable price. François loves his region and there is plenty to see, nature and culture are at the rendezvous. We'll keep the address handy for a future stay.

This stay was a gift for my parents. We had already done this and we had the idea to offer them. Like us , they thought the place was atypical and amazing. A soothing and easy-to-reach place. A clean and well-equipped place. Nearby there is Saumur and the zoo to visit. the area is very friendly. And thank you again to the responsive hosts whose access details are clear

I had a great time. The accommodation is well located with plenty of restaurants in the pedestrian street. I recommend this spacious and pleasant accommodation!

Four weeks of workation - it was simply awesome. The room was even big enough for two people and very tastefully decorated. The chamber with washing machine, vacuum cleaner, Vapoo cleaner was extremely practical. We felt very comfortable there. The value for money was unbeatable. We also liked the somewhat remote location, took the tram to the city or walked down. Dear Marlene, thank you very much.

Simply EXTRAORDINARY! This apartment is jewelry! In a historic setting, with a nice private garden, in the heart of the old town. Martin has a lot of taste, his apartment is very well equipped, clean, and the LOFT style is very comfortable. I RECOMMEND IT 200% * * * * *

The stuff fairytales are made of. Staying directly under a castle. The apartment is so well appointed. Bathed in sunlight in the mornings. Spacious & tastefully decorated. Easy 5 min walk to the centre of town. Beautiful walks across the road by the Loire. The castle is an easy 10 min walk to the castle. The apartment feels very safe. The hosts are very friendly, helpful & responsive. Highly recommend staying here.

Philippe responded quickly to my questions before we arrived, gave clear instructions and his place was easy to find. The private parking and laundry facilities were much appreciated and the garden setting was lovely. He and his wife were usually around to make sure everything was working for us and he made a reservation for us at a recommended local restaurant, which was a great experience. It was very hot while we were there for the walk into town across the bridge, but there is a local bus, with the stop right near the apartment. We stayed for a week and found Amboise to be a good base for visiting this part of the Loire Valley. We would certainly recommend Philippe's place and would stay there again ourselves if we were ever back in the area.

Very nice apartment ideally located for those who like the old quarter of Tours and all its shops, bars and restaurants. Difficult access by car (pedestrian access) and complicated parking because of the historic center of Tours, but I think this accommodation also offers a parking space which is ideal. In short, a very nice location and impeccable, atypical and very pleasant accommodation

Dominique was very welcoming and helped carry our bags up to the apartment. The apartment was nicely decorated and beds comfortable. The location was convenient for access to the old town and free parking nearby. We think our baby woke up the next door neighbour in the middle of the night, which we are sorry about 🫣 but we would stay again if Dominique would have us!

Excellent stay at François's, accommodation both impeccably clean and functional. Quiet neighborhood, easy and secure parking with private parking space. Really nothing to repeat. Good experience. The accommodation was as described. Very pleasant, well arranged, very warm and functional. The bed is very large and access to the garden (a real little green oasis) is a real bonus. The only downside could be the parking. At times when the neighborhood is busy, it is rather difficult to find a place to park near the accommodation. I would definitely recommend it for a stay in Saumur.

We had a great stay at Jérémie's. The apartment is located very close to the botanical garden so not far from the city center. It's a quiet area - no noise during the nights, even with the windows open. Very comfortable, and highly recommended!
