Holiday rentals with a kayak in Loire Valley

A beautiful spot with the river at the bottom of the garden. Very comfortable house and really peaceful but also close to all the amenities - we loved getting the tram into Orleans. Messing about on the river was great and we made good use of local swimming spots. Check the swimsuit requirements if going to the local pool! Plenty to see and do in the area - would highly recommend it.

We had a lovely time at Marie-Claude's Gîte. The view of the Loire is stunning, walks are accessible immediately after leaving the house which is an asset with children. The house is as described, it feels good. Marie-Claude was available at all times and her instructions were very clear. In short, I recommend it 100% for a relaxing stay with friends.

The apartment is highly recommended for a stay in Orléans. Since we had bicycles with us, we were able to cycle the 5km into the city. It is very quiet and everything was the best, there was a bottle of wine to welcome us. Good communication with the host. Clear referral.

The gite “Le clos des mésanges” is cozy and beautifully located. It is located at the end of a small side street, so it is very quiet there. In the morning you can hear the birds chirping. There is a courtyard covered with glyzinia, where you can sit nicely and also harvest herbs. Even a ping pong table is available. Cisseaux is a great starting point for things to do to the “Castles of the Loire”. The fairytale castle chenonceau is in the immediate vicinity. We explored a lot in the area with the bikes. We were able to store these directly at the house. Marie-Laure is a very charming friendly host who was always responsive to our concerns and stood by us with tips. We would rent the accommodation again anytime! Thank you so much!

very nice stay of a few days. Listing is as described and contains all the necessities. The small island is very nice when the weather is nice and the provision of a canoe is a big plus for an easy ride on the Indre.

Responsive attentive hosts of great kindness and a wonderful place a screen of calm and soothing greenery. We had a wonderful time with the family. Lovers of calm nature fishing will be served everything available canoeing boat.... excellent accommodation, spacious comfort and very well equipped.

Peaceful accommodation in a bucolic setting. It matches the photos and descriptions that are made of them in every way. The place was spotless when we arrived, everything was clean. The accommodation is tastefully decorated and full of premium amenities. Excellent communication with Christophe who was very responsive to our needs. Christophe had a lot of small touches that made the young and old happy. We can't wait to go back.

We spent 3 days in the area, Quintin's house is very nice and atypical. The renovation is done with a lot of attention, taste and everything is done to feel good. The accommodation is spacious for a family of 4, including 2 children. Quintin is a responsive host who anticipated many of our questions and made several suggestions to make the most of our stay. An enchanting and dreamy place straight out of a fairytale. Extremely unique experience, peaceful and inspiring. The hosts, Anne and Fred were extremely cordial and responsive for any request or question. They responded in a very short amount of time. Perfectly set up, clean and fully equipped made this fairytale experience perfect.

There were 22 of us and we had a great weekend at Otto's. He was very responsive to our questions and very good advice about local merchants. Check-in and check-out times are very wide, which is extremely rare and therefore appreciated. The property is large, three different dwellings and a festive space in the barn which makes it possible not to step on it, even if there are many. There are quite a lot of towel sheets and closet bottoms in the kitchen. The only downside is that it is a country house: maniacs refrain.

We had a fantastic few days in Argentonnay and would higly recommend to anyone. The gite has been done beautifully and is very well equipped, and the grounds are great - we kayaked on the river, walked in the woods and enjoyed making friends with Sarah's pet mini-pigs! It worked very well for our family but would also be hughly suitable for groups without children. Puy de Fou, a 40 min drive away, was a phenomenal experience. Sarah was a very kind and considerate host.

The little Moulin de Claire is a true haven of peace. You will be able to find all kinds of activities that will delight your guests! This house is clearly suitable for large groups of people. Also, there are no neighbors nearby which is a big plus. On the other hand, the lake was a little in its "juice" which disappointed us a little for swimming but we quickly understood that we are also in a natural and preserved environment :) Nevertheless kayaks are available for the ride on the lake which is a very appreciable. An excellent stay in a relaxing and green setting. The house is very nice, very zen. Sofie and her son are very kind, there are many games and activities available. You feel at home. Thanks again for the stay.

A wonderful few days in this lovely part of France. The Estate and nearby woodlands are magical.
