Cabin holiday rentals in Lodi

The cabin was spacious, clean, and lovely. So many incredible amenities, particularly the hot tub. Lovely and quiet surroundings leading down to the river. Just awesome.

Andy is a great host with a beautiful place to stay. I cannot suggest staying at The Cottage more. We will definitely be back. One last thank you to Andy!!

My two best friends and I stayed at the fabulous Refugio Graziella for a relaxing girls’ weekend and it. was. perfect. Most of the weekend was spent lounging and chatting in all the many wonderful spaces the home offers: sipping coffee on the peaceful screened-in porch, relaxing in the hot tub, roasting marshmallows at the serene fire pit under the string lights with ample firewood and supplies, doing crafts and playing games at the inviting dining room table, cooking meals in the fully equipped kitchen, and listening to music in the cozy living room. We did not end up using the sauna (just didn’t have time), but are already planning a winter getaway to RG. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it if you are looking for a quiet getaway, surrounded by nature but still a short drive away from anything you need or want. Clearly, so much thought was put into anticipating the needs of their guests, and that makes Refugio Graziella a place you immediately feel comfortable. 🥰

The perfect weekend getaway! They set the cabin up with everything you would need to be entertained or find adventures around the area! The cabin was extremely clean, and the property was beautiful! The hosts were responsive to questions! Will definitely be back.

This cabin was perfect. It had everything necessary to have a fun and relaxing stay. It was the perfect getaway. Peaceful, quiet and just what we needed. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone you won’t regret it. We will definitely be back!

A wonderful, relaxing stay! We visited for our annual girls trip and this property was everything and more! There was plenty of space for everyone, beautiful scenery and easy access to the river for kayaking. Meg was extremely responsive and helpful. We’d absolutely return for future stays.

Debbie was very communicative before and during our stay. The property has plenty of yard room for outdoor activities and we loved that we didn’t feel stacked up against a bunch of other houses. The driveway can accommodate a group of cars and we loved the reclining couch in the basement. I’d highly recommend this property.

This is an amazing place to stay! The peace and quiet of the location and to feel as though you were in the middle of the woods was a welcome surprise! We were lucky to have discovered this place! Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at River’s Edge cabin which was spotless and well equipped. We were comfortable there and especially appreciated the surrounding property, trees, and solitude. We enjoyed breakfast on the porch most mornings - the rocking chairs with comfy cushions and blankets were a wonderful touch! The cabin is about 15 minutes from the town of Viroqua that had a good selection of restaurants, unique shops, and even grocery stores. There are also a couple of restaurants really close to the cabin. Communication was excellent, anytime we had a question or needed anything the host was quick to respond and always willing to help.

My husband, two dogs and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin! The point of my vacation was going somewhere we could take our dogs and this was the perfect spot to relax with them for a few days. Everything was clean and there was a perfect amount of space for us to relax. It was very quiet in the neighborhood and most of the time it felt like we were the only ones around. It was great to be able to walk to a very nice restaurant and bar a minute or two down from the cabin since we wanted to stay close. The only thing that bummed me out was we went at the end of May and the dock wasn’t put out - and I was hoping to spend time sitting out on the water. That could have been me not realizing the typical “season” but had assumed it’d be out so I recommend checking if that’s important to you :)

My family and I stayed at the Driftless Escape Cabin and had a wonderful time! The interior was even more beautiful in person with plenty of space for my whole family. The Kitchen was well stocked, the beds were very comfy and they had everything you needed. The property was gorgeous with lots of open space and amazing views. We loved playing in the yard and s’mores by the fire. And even though the cabin is close to town, we still felt like we were miles away in nature and truly disconnected!!

I booked John’s cabin as a romantic surprise birthday getaway for my wife. I’ve had a few whiffs and foul balls in years past, but I think this went in the books as a home run. Beautifully secluded and quiet, tastefully decorated, clean, and well organized, this reprieve from society is worth every penny. John is a good host—he checks in, answers questions, and that’s about it. In short, our stay was wonderful and we’ll plan a return visit in the future 🙂 DR

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Barbara’s cabin! It was MAGICAL! The property was completely private and peaceful. The most private and peaceful property we have ever visited. The fact that it is located in an area with many Amish neighbors means that there is a peace and quiet as well as harmony in the countryside. We would sit out for our morning coffee on the porch swing and listen to the passing of the horses and carriages. We sat outside all day long every day soaking in the peaceful serenity and the glorious old woods that surrounded us. The best of which was the stunning huge old Oak Tree that graces the front yard. In the morning we would hear the birdsong and the wind in the trees. At nighttime it would grow quiet and last night I heard a Whip-Poor-Will for the first time in my life! Amazing! We bought organic fruit and vegetables at the nearby Amish roadside stand, Busy Bees. The cabin was comfy, cozy& amazingly clean! The windows were spotless! A gem!

Carolene's place is such a gem! Beautiful and peaceful. We especially appreciated the provided list of places to check out/things to do in the area. Highly recommend the local Amish bakery if you happen to be there on a Friday or Saturday.

So, relaxing, cute, cozy, came home from fishing all day, was so nice just to relax on the couch with fireplace on. Way better than staying at a motel. So glad I treated myself to this place.

Perfect location. Loved all the activities and yet super quiet

The location was just perfect. My group loved the beautiful surroundings and being in a peaceful area. The place was clean and it was exactly what we were looking for. If you or your family is looking for a cabin like experience, this is the place for you. Lots of fun games already there, ready to play. Had such a great time. The host was quick with responses and very helpful.

Warm and welcoming hosts - so nice to have a kind note, lights on, and chocolates and wine waiting for us (although we did not partake in the wine - but loved the intent behind it). Definitely hunting cabin vibes -- we are so jealous and wish we had this type of accommodation for when we go hunting. Another nice thing: we weren't asked to strip sheets, run the dishwasher, wash towels and take out the garbage like so many other Airbnbs (what's the point of the cleaning fee if the guest has to do half the work?). All that was asked was to put used towels in a pile on the floor - so appreciate that when we have to depart for an early morning flight. Thanks John and Kitty - if we are ever in the area in the future, we will be sure to book again.

Great! Amazing! Beautiful! I would give even ten stars if this would be possible. House located in very stunning and peaceful area, perfect for getaway! Just nature and you! House itself its very clean and well finished, pretty much everything that you need its in there! And host is taking care of everything above and beyond! Can’t wait to visit again! This was I think our 4th visit to this property! It’s absolutely stunning and with the screened in porch the weather has no effect on us enjoying the outdoors and scenery. We highly recommend

Tremendous cabin! 10/10! I would recommend this place to anyone and I would stay again! It was the perfect place to hang, play games and enjoy the fire. Everyone slept comfortably!
